Co-Authoring A Book
Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman co-authored Lesnar's autobiography, "Death Clutch: My Story of Determination, Domination, and Survival," telling Lesnar’s story in his own words. Having had Heyman as a reliable friend and confidant, Lesnar said, "I think Paul was the guy for me to be able to orchestrate this with."
How Lesnar Met Heyman
After Lesnar had received bad advice from several wrestling veterans, WWE and ECW veteran Tazz introduced Lesnar to Paul Heyman, who told the future Beast, "you realize if you do what they're telling you it will ruin you [...] Do you want me to talk to Vince about this?" Lesnar agreed and Heyman joined him shortly afterward.
Farmer Brock Is Real
Lesnar has actual farming experience as he grew up poor on a dairy farm in Webster, South Dakota. He recounted how the farm nearly went into foreclosure, saying, "We couldn't pay our bills," and he used the strength and size he built up working on the farm to become a football player and wrestler.
Brock Is A Grandpa
Loving country life dearly, Lesnar moved to his own farm in Maryfield, Saskatchewan, where he lives with his wife, Rena, and their younger children. Apart from two older kids from a previous marriage, Lesnar is stepfather to Rena's daughter from her first marriage, who has a child of her own, making him a step-grandfather.
Lesnar's Trauma
Lesnar has dealt with physical injuries and emotional trauma, depending on pills and alcohol early in his WWE career, admitting, "There's like two years, I don't remember my life [...] I was in a lot of pain, mentally and physically." Moreover, he suffered from anxiety because of his introverted personality and having to be "on" in the WWE setting.
