Former WWE Stars Make AEW Debuts During Dark: Elevation Taping
By SAI MOHAN
During a taped episode of “AEW Dark: Elevation” at the Coca-Cola Coliseum in Toronto, the former WWE tag team comprising Gurv Sihra (FKA Sunil Singh) & Harv Sihra (FKA Samir Singh) made a surprise appearance. The brothers wrestled Austin & Colten Gunn in a losing effort.
According to photos and videos that fans shared on social media, the former Singh Brothers used the name “Bollywood Boyz” during their AEW debut. In the months leading up to October 2022, they had been wrestling for indie promotions like DEFY Wrestling and Vancouver’s NEW, and their future on AEW is currently unknown.
Before being released by the WWE in June 2021, the Singh Brothers were best known for being allies of Jinder Mahal during his 170-day reign as WWE Champion in 2017. When asked about potentially signing with AEW in an interview, Gurv Sihra said, “It'll just happen when it happens. We can't lose sleep over something we have no control over.”
