Freddie Prinze Jr. Says WWE Stable Is Not Working
By SHAUN RANFT
Although WWE's newly-appointed Chief Content Officer, Triple H, made stables a crucial component of the company's in-ring product, former WWE producer Freddie Prinze Jr. shared his dislike for one particular stable. On the November 2022 episode of "Wrestling with Freddie," he expressed his concern about a few major names in the women's division.
Prinze said, "I guess WWE's done with Bayley," adding, "The entire Damage CTRL situation is a tag team championship on two girls that I don't know if they're going to get over." Bayley celebrated a big victory over Raw Women's Champion Bianca Belair while SKY and Kai have been champions for more than a month.
Prinze continued, "Whenever I see something not working, I just want to kill it [...] I don't know what they're trying to do with this." Referencing a late-October match on "SmackDown" featuring Shotzi, Raquel Rodriguez, SKY, and Kai, he singled out Shotzi, praising her by saying, "I don't know what you're going to do with the rest of those girls."
