The Fastest Tag Team Match In WWE History Featured A Jericho And Jerry Lawler Duo
By NICK MILLER
The one-time tag team of Jerry "The King" Lawler and Chris Jericho holds the record for winning the shortest match in WWE history. Although WWE fans have witnessed several matches that haven't even crossed 30 seconds on the clock, none of those matches was over quicker than the September 4, 2000 bout featuring Lawler and Jericho.
The "WWE Raw" match featured Lawler and Jericho against Tazz and a mystery partner, later revealed as Naked Mideon who was dressed in nothing but a pair of shorts disguised as a fanny pack. Too busy fretting about his partner, Tazz didn't realize that the bell had rung, and Lawler immediately rolled him up for the victory.
The match was over within three seconds and went down in history as the shortest WWE match ever. The match against Tazz and Naked Mideon was the only time that Jericho and Lawler teamed up, but their quick victory immortalized them in the history books as an unforgettable tag team.
