The Most Unexpected Losses Of The Undertaker's Career

12. Royal Rumble 1994
When WWF Champion Undertaker faced Yokozuna in a Casket Match, Yoko’s manager Mr. Fuji enlisted the help of several other wrestlers for burying ‘Taker in the casket and ensuring Yoko’s victory. Although defeated by the joint effort of 10 other men, ‘Taker told the WWF fans via the Titantron that he wouldn’t rest in peace.
11. SummerSlam 1997
The WWF Championship match between Undertaker and Bret “The Hitman” Hart with Shawn Michaels as the special guest referee had a very unexpected ending. When Hart spat at Michaels for berating his use of a steel chair in the match, HBK swung the chair, missed Hart and hit ‘Taker, allowing Hart to pick up the win.
10. Crown Jewel 2018
Shawn Michaels came out of retirement in 2018 and teamed with Triple H to re-form DX and faced Kane and Undertaker in the disaster of a match at Crown Jewel 2018. The match was littered with botches, HHH tore his pectoral early on, and Kane’s mask fell off, but most surprisingly, DX defeated the Brothers of Destruction.
9. Judgment Day 2006
Upon debuting in 2006, “The Punjabi Nightmare” Great Khali bulldozed through opposition before meeting The Undertaker on Judgment Day 2006. Although ‘Taker put on a valiant effort, Khali flattened the Deadman and left the crowd wondering if there was anyone who could stop his reign of terror.
8. Elimination Chamber 2010
The Heavyweight Champion Undertaker defended against five other wrestlers at Elimination Chamber until it was just him versus Chris Jericho. Things were looking good for ‘Taker until Shawn Michaels intervened and hit him with the Sweet Chin Music, letting Jericho pick up the victory and the title.
