The Rock's 12 Most Entertaining Feuds In WWE
By SHANE O'NEILL
12. Goldberg
On the "Raw" episode following WrestleMania XIX, WCW juggernaut Goldberg debuted in the WWF, attacking The Rock and kicking off a mini-feud. The two legends only clashed once in a sanctioned match at Backlash 2003, where Goldberg won after using several spears and a jackhammer.
11. Brock Lesnar
Brock Lesnar debuted in 2002, steamrolling the competition before going for the WWE Undisputed Championship. As the Undisputed Champion at that time, The Rock faced Lesnar at SummerSlam and put up a valiant fight, but he succumbed to Lesnar, dropping the title to "The Next Big Thing."
10. The Undertaker
During WWF's Attitude Era, The Rock and Undertaker clashed from 1998 to 2002 in various settings. Rock beat 'Taker at the 1998 Survivor Series, only to be defeated by The Deadman at King of the Ring 1999, and after several encounters through the years, their final match was a triple threat match with Kurt Angle at Vengeance 2002.
9. Chris Jericho
On August 9, 1999, former WCW standout Chris Jericho debuted during a promo by the Rock, kicking off a very entertaining feud. The two delivered amazing mic work, in-ring action, and some notable matches including the WCW Championship at Vengeance 2001 and the WWF Undisputed Championship at the 2002 Royal Rumble.
8. CM Punk
Upon returning in 2013, Rock began a feud with the then-champion CM Punk. Punk and Rock had some exciting verbal exchanges before Rock beat Punk to pick up the title, and even though Punk got his rematch at Elimination Chamber, he failed to win back the gold, bringing the feud to an end.
