What Life's Really Been Like For Stephanie McMahon, The Billion Dollar Princess
By JACK GOODWILLIE
Born in Hartford, Connecticut, on September 24, 1976, Stephanie McMahon told The Corp with Big Cat and A-Rod, "It used to bother me when I was growing up that people would either really, really like me because I was Vince McMahon's daughter or really not like me." She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Communications at Boston University in 1999.
Childhood and Education
McMahon got her start working for her father's company at the age of 13, modeling merchandise for wrestlers and answering phones for the WWF call-in talk show, "Livewire," in the mid-'90s. Upon graduating from university, she went straight to work at the WWE sales office while also being their receptionist and an on-screen wrestling personality.
Wearing Different Hats
WWF head writer Vince Russo suggested she become the "The Billion-Dollar Princess," with early storylines including being abducted by The Undertaker, a love triangle with Triple H and Kurt Angle, and her subsequent "divorce" from Triple H. Stephanie also dabbled between the ropes, winning the WWF Women's Championship in March 2000.

McMahon met Paul "Triple H" Levesque in their first storyline together, marrying in 2003 with 320 co-workers and friends attending the ceremony. They have three daughters and became the number one power couple in wrestling, with McMahon holding various executive titles at WWE while Triple H was on the Board of Directors.
Relationship with Triple H
After nearly two years of appearing on "Raw" and "SmackDown," McMahon became head writer of WWE in 2000, most notably overseeing the passing of the torch from The Rock and Steve Austin to future stars such as John Cena and Batista. While her official title was head writer, she was also the go-between for the creative teams and Vince McMahon.
