By HUNTER CATES
12. The One-Timers
Several wrestlers have been one-time main-eventers at WrestleMania including the Miz, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, King Kong Bundy, Andre The Giant, Chris Jericho, and Kurt Angle, amongst others. Five women closed the show including Ronda Rousey, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, Bianca Belair, and Charlotte Flair.
11. Two-Time Main Eventers
Edge, Randy Orton, and Sycho Sid lost in each of their two trips to the main event of WrestleMania, with Edge losing to Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns, while Randy lost to Triple H and Bryan. Daniel Bryan, Batista, and Randy Savage also made it to the main event twice, each ending up with one win and one loss.
10. Bret Hart - 3
The first time Hart main evented at WrestleMania, he lost the world title to Yokozuna in WM IX. The following year, he closed the show by claiming the title back from Yokozuna, and Hart's last appearance was at WrestleMania XII when he lost to Shawn Michaels in a 60-minute Iron Man Match.
9. Steve Austin - 4
Steve Austin is the only wrestler to never lose in the main event out of his multiple appearances. He beat HBK to win his first world title at WM XIV, then The Rock twice at WM XV and X-7, and after retiring at WrestleMania XIX, he returned for one last time at WM 38 to defeat Kevin Owens.
8. Shawn Michaels - 5
Self-proclaimed "Mr. WrestleMania" Shawn Michaels had five appearances in the main event of WrestleMania, although he lost in all but one. He closed the show at WM XII when he defeated Bret Hart to win his first world title, but all the other matches — no matter how amazing — resulted in HBK’s defeat.
