Wrestlers Who Had Brief Careers In Impact Wrestling

Roddy Piper
After joining NWA-TNA in December 2002, “Rowdy” Roddy Piper cut a scathing promo directly implicating Vince Russo in the 1999 death of Owen Hart and portraying Russo as a danger to other wrestlers. He hosted his own segment called “In the Pit with Piper” where he interviewed Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka, Kevin Nash, and others.
Rick Steiner
Rick Steiner’s tenure was far less impressive than that of his brother Scott. After some years of sporadic appearances, Rick enjoyed a better run with Scott as they feuded with Team 3D (Ray and Devon) and the teams clashed on PPVs for the entire year before he was released in early 2008.
Xavier Woods
One-third of the New Day, Woods spent much of his early career inside TNA’s six-sided ring as the stars and stripes-clad Consequences Creed. Making his first appearance at Bound for Glory 2007, Creed became a frequent face in the Impact Zone throughout 2008 before teaming with Jay Lethal to win the TNA Tag Team titles.
The Nasty Boys
The Nasty Boys (Brian Knobbs and Jerry Sags) signed with TNA in 2010 and began feuding with Team 3D culminating in a showdown at Against All Odds 2010. The feud ended by late March after the Boys and Jimmy Hart won a six-man tag match, before being released shortly thereafter.
Zach Gowen
Following his departure from WWE, Gowen joined TNA as Tenacious Z, clashing with the likes of BG James and Mike Sanders during his first NWA-TNA run in 2003. He had a disappointing return two years later at Hard Justice 2005, and his TNA run ended after his participation in the X-Division Gauntlet Battle Royal.
