Former WWE Star Announces Retirement, Goldust Vs. Masters, Steen To The UK, NWA Title Update

- The NWA announced that Damien Wayne, Chance Prophet and Lance Erikson will compete in a three-way match this Saturday, January 5th at NWA E.D.G.E. in Nashville, North Carolina. The winner of that match will win the vacant NWA National Heavyweight Championship.

- Also this Saturday, Top Rope Promotions and the Virginia Horse Center present "New Year's Chaos" at the Anderson Coliseum in Lexington, VA. Goldust vs. Chris Masters, "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan vs. Daivari and Angelina Love vs. Katie Lea Burchill are scheduled for the event. - Speaking of Steen, he will face Johnny Gargano in the main event of Smash Wrestling's "Any Given Sunday" event this Sunday, January 6th at "The eZone" at 120 North Queen St in Toronto, Ontario. - Former WWE star and UFC Hall of Famer Dan Severn announced that 2013 will be his final year as a performer in professional wrestling. He said that he plans to continue being involved in both pro wrestling and MMA outside of the ring, but not as a competitor.
