Bret Hart Clarifies Rating For Lesnar - HHH Match, Kevin Nash - Indy Promoter Update, Rikishi Note

- Bret Hart clarified some recent comments he made during a recent interview with Arda Ocal that we posted yesterday. "The Hitman" noted that when he talked about the Triple H – Brock Lesnar match at WrestleMania being a 4 out of 10, he was actually referring to a sign in the crowd on RAW. He wrote (sic):

"my comments to Arda about Trip H Lezner match being 4 out of 10, was in reference to a sign someone held up on Raw. I in truth thought they had the second best match of the night, and both worked very hard. Hope that clarifys things. Bret"

- Former WWE star Rikishi will be in action at Old School Wrestling's Saturday Night Slam on April 27th at Belvidere High School in Belvidere, IL. He will also be taking part in a special meet and greet before the show at 5:30 pm. You can purchase tickets or get more information at this link.

- As noted earlier, Kevin Nash and Sean Waltman ripped Top Rope Wrestling in Virginia after working a show for them this past weekend. After some back and forth, Nash rescinded his criticism of the promotion and redirected it to their general manager Marvin Ward, writing on his Twitter, "Top Rope Productions was not at fault .Marvin Ward working for the promotion lied and withheld payment due to me."

Top Rope Pro Wrestling sent a message yesterday informing us that Ward would be leaving his position as general manager, as Ward had been offered a position with another entertainment company before last weekend's event. According to their statement, Ward stayed through last Saturday's show to see it to its conclusion. He will remain with the company in a consulting capacity, which they noted was "good news for us, considering how successful our most recent show was."

"This is a great opportunity for me and my family that I just couldn't pass up. I wish Top Rope well, and thank them for the opportunities that they have provided me," Ward said in a statement.

Top Rope President Chris Graham added, "We're sorry to see Marvin go, but we're excited for him that he's going to be able to take a step up in the promotions industry."

The next scheduled Top Rope Pro Wrestling event, "The Shawn Michaels Experience," a VIP meet and greet and fan Q&A with HBK, is scheduled for August 31st in Waynesboro, VA. You can get more information about the event at TopRopeProWrestling.com.
