WWE Live Event Results From Brooklyn (9/8): Triple H Cancels Big Show's Match, Sami Zayn In Action

Thanks to WrestlingINC.com reader Steve B for sending in these results from tonight's WWE live event at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY:

* The opening match was for the U.S. Championship. Dean Ambrose retained the title and pinned RVD while holding the ropes during the pinfall.

* Bo Dallas and Sami Zayn defeated Antonio Cesaro and Jack Swagger pinfall.

Vickie Guerrero came out and said that The Big Show vs. Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns handicap match was cancelled by Triple H because it was bad for business and he would have to sit ringside for the main event between Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan and was not allowed to interfere.

* Fans voted for the next Divas match between Brie Bella and Natalya to either be a wrestling match or a dance off. The fans voted for a dance off. After Brie danced, she attacked Natalya. The match started, which Natayla won by sharpshooter.

Paul Heyman came out with Curtis Axel for the Intercontinental Title Match (no DQ) and asked if Madison Square Garden had another event. Or if Bronx battalion hall or Queens Elk Lodge (ECW halls) were not available because Brooklyn was a slum and the champ should not have to wrestle there. He was also invoking a non-title clause to the match. CM Punk came out with kendo stick and match started.

* CM Punk defeated Curtis Axel with the GTS and put Axel through a table for pin. He then got a couple kendo stick shots on Heyman before he ran away.

Intermission.

* Tyson Kidd pinned Drew McIntyre.

* WWE Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns defeated The Usos.

* The main event was Randy Orton defending the WWE Championship against Daniel Bryan. Brad Maddox came out with a chair for Big Show to sit at ringside, and told him that he better not interfere. Big Show said he better shut his mouth because they're in New York and he better not write a check he can't cash. Daniel Bryan won via DQ after he locked in the Yes! lock and The Shield came out for the save. Big Show came in and cleared the ring with Bryan. Sounds just like the event the night before.

Biggest pops were for Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton (split crowd), RVD and CM Punk. Biggest heat was for Vickie Guerrero, Paul Heyman and Brad Maddox.
