GFW Statement On Incident With UFC Veteran, Poor Attendance For Saturday's GFW Live Event (Photos)

- An estimated 200 fans attended Saturday's Global Force Wrestling live event at Ace's Ballpark in Reno, Nevada. Our correspondent noted that attendance was very disappointing and while the show was decent, they had mic issues all night.

- We noted before that UFC veteran Phil Baroni, who made his pro wrestling debut on the indies earlier this year, "jumped the rail" at Friday's GFW Amped TV tapings in Las Vegas for an angle with GFW's Chael Sonnen, another MMA veteran. There was some speculation that Baroni "went into business for himself" but it's obvious that it was all an angle. GFW issued this statement on Baroni to further the program:

"On Friday night's GFW Amped event, Phil Baroni was in attendance as a spectator. We do not condone Mr. Baroni's actions and he was immediately escorted from the building by house security."
