Big UFC Fight Not Happening Until March, Rumble Johnson Talks About Reporters, Big Bellator Card

- Even though the UFC Heavyweight championship has seen giant periods of inactivity for years, that doesn't appear to be changing any time soon. UFC President Dana White mentioned last week that the already inexplicable Fabricio Werdum vs. Cain Velasquez title re-match wouldn't take place until at least March.

Both Werdum and Velasquez each have only fought four times since July 2012.

- We noted that Anthony "Rumble" Johnson had choice words for the media following his KO win over Jimi Manuwa at UFC 191. At the event's post-fight presser, Rumble elaborated on his feelings.

"Like I said before, you guys are going to write whatever you're going to write," Johnson said. "A lot of you guys write a lot of bullsh-t, but that's what you do. That's what you do to have to get paid and I'm fine with that. But if you're going to write something bad, write something good."

Johnson has received negative media attention following domestic abuse allegations in the past.

Speaking of Johnson, after his fight, he said that he'd be willing to step in at UFC 192 if Ryan Bader, Daniel Cormier, Alexander Gustafsson or Rashad Evans get injured.

- With UFC 191 in the books, there are no UFC shows for three weeks. Bellator an Glory kickboxing are running a huge co-promoted show on September 19, however. The event features Paul Daley in a kickboxing bout, as well as former TNA talent King Mo and UFC veteran Phil Davis in a 4-man tournament. The headline bout is UFC Hall of Famer Tito Ortiz taking on Light Heavyweight Champion, Liam McGeary. Wrestling Inc will be speaking to McGeary later this week.
