Kevin Owens Comments On Why He Did Not Work WWE Television This Week

I exclusively reported this week that WWE Intercontinental Champion Kevin Owens was sent home on Monday after he and his son, who was traveling with him this week, came down with an illness. Owens did not work last night's SmackDown tapings but was expected back next week.

Owens confirmed the report today and noted on Twitter that he's back at home now. He tweeted the following:

Yes, it's been a rough couple of days. Owen and I both got pretty sick but we're back home with Karina and Élodie now so we'll be ok.
