Ronda Rousey On Manny Pacquiao's Anti-Gay Comments, More On Conor McGregor - Nate Diaz UFC 196 Fight

- TMZ recently caught with UFC Superstar Ronda Rousey. Rousey, who told TMZ that she was rooting for Holly Holm to defeat Miesha Tate at UFC 196 next weekend, was asked about Manny Pacquiao's recent anti-gay comments where he equated gay couples to animals.

"I understand that a lot of people use religion as a reason to be against gay people, but, I mean, there was no 'Thou shall not be gay,' God never said that," Rousey told TMZ. "I really think that our Pope now is boss. He was saying something the other day that religion should be all-encompassing and should be about welcoming everyone and loving everyone and not leaving people out. And I think sometimes people take the wrong message sometimes."

- As noted, Conor McGregor will now face Nate Diaz in the new UFC 196 main event next Saturday after UFC Lightweight Champion Rafael dos Anjos suffered a foot injury and was forced to withdraw from his title defense against McGregor. The new main event will still be five rounds, however it will be fought at welterweight (170 lbs) instead of lightweight (155 lbs.). Up until now, McGregor, the reigning UFC Featherweight Champion, has only fought at 145 lbs. in the UFC, so he is moving up two weight classes from his previous UFC fights. UFC 196 takes place next Saturday, March 5th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. You can check out the new UFC 196 poster below:
