Ronda Rousey Signs New Movie Deal, Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Sidelined, New UFC Commercial

- The UFC have released a commercial for their next event, UFC Fight Night: Overeem vs. Arlovski, which airs Sunday afternoon, May 8 on Fox Sports 1. The show will be headlined by Alistair Overeem and Andrei Arlovski taking on each other, despite them being teammates who train at the same facility in New Mexico.

- Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Junior dos Santos will be on the shelf for about 12 weeks following his dominant win over Ben Rothwell. JDS announced on Instagram that he was going to require surgery for his labrum and rotator cuff.

- Ronda Rousey has signed a three-movie deal with Lifetime. The former UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion will "bring stories that reflect her passions about empowerment to the screen," according to Deadline. Rousey will reportedly not star in the films, however.
