WWE Main Event Recap: The Hype Bros. Make Main Roster Debut, Vaudevillians, Tyler Breeze Gets A Win

A new Main Event opening video featuring only SMACKDOWN Live stars (set to the same theme as before) kicks off the show after the usual WWE signature. The Hype Bros (Mojo Rawley & Zack Ryder) make their entrance, followed by the entrance of The Vaudevillians (Aiden English & Simon Gotch) as Tom Philips and David Otunga check in on commentary.

The Hype Bros (Mojo Rawley & Zack Ryder) vs. The Vaudvillains (Aiden English & Simon Gotch)

Ryder and Gotch start the match. They exchange wrist locks before Gotch locks in a headlock. Ryder pushes Gotch to the ropes, but gets taken down by Gotch wit a shoulder block. Gotch kicks Ryder before hitting the ropes. Ryder hits a dropkick on Gotch. Ryder slams Gotch's head on the turnbuckle before Rawley tags in. Rawley Irish Whips Ryder into Gotch (hitting a forearm to the face), before Ryder throws Gotch towards Rawley. Rawley takes Gotch down with an attack to the knee. Gotch gains control and tags in English before they hit a double chop to the chest of Rawley, followed by a double punch to the face. English knees Rawley in the head, then punches him before Irish Whipping him into the ropes. Rawley ducks a clothesline attempt and hits a cross body. Rawley says "He Ain't Hype!" several times before eventfully hitting a backdrop on English and tagging in Ryder. Ryder hits several forearms to the head of English, setting him up for the Broski Boot in the corner. English rolls out of the ring to avoid the attack. Ryder hits a dropkick through the rope to Simon Gotch at ringside, sending him into the barricade, before being thrown into the barricade himself by Aiden English as we head into a commercial break.

English keeps Ryder grounded as we return from commercial. English locks in a headlock. Ryder attempts to get out of it, but English throw him into the ropes and attacks him, taking him down again. Ryder rolls to the outside of the ring. English rolls out and runs at Ryder, but Ryder hits a boot to the face. Gotch runs at him as well, but Ryder moves out of the way as Gotch hits the barrier at ringside. Ryder slowly gets back in the ring and starts crawling to Rawley. English comes in and hits a splash on Ryder's back prior to stomping him several times and then hitting a leg drop. English pins Ryder for a two count. English tags in Gotch. Gotch connects with a knee to Ryder's head. Gotch locks in an arm submission. Ryder hits two forearms to Gotch's head. Gotch releases the submission and runs toward Rawley, but Rawley jumps off the apron. Gotch turns back to Ryder and backs him into the heel corner before tagging English back in. Gotch Irish Whips English into Ryder. English then pins Ryder for a two count. English runs at Ryder in the corner, but Ryder gets his knees up. Gotch runs at Ryder, but Ryder ends up throwing him out of the ring prior to tagging in Rawley. Rawley hits three shoulder blocks on English. Rawley hits a move similar to the Stinger Splash on English in the corner. He goes for the same move again, but Gotch pulls English out of the way. Rawley then clotheslines Gotch off the ring apron. English kicks Rawley, but Rawley ends up hitting a shoulder block on him shortly after that. Gotch breaks up a pin attempt as Ryder also gets in the ring. Gotch attempts to attack Ryder, but Ryder hits a drop toe hold, sending Gotch into the second turnbuckle. Ryder hits the Broski Boot on Gotch before being thrown out of the ring by English. Rawley splashes English in the corner before tagging in Ryder. They then hit the Hype Ryder prior to Ryder getting the pinfall victory.

Highlights are shown from the match between Finn Balor and Roman Reigns from Monday's RAW with Finn Balor winning the right to face Seth Rollins for the WWE Universal Championship at SummerSlam.

Tyler Breeze makes his entrance with Fandango accompanying him, followed by Jey Uso making his own entrance, without his brother accompanying.

Jey Uso vs. Tyler Breeze (w/Fandango)

Breeze gets a headlock locked in during the opening moments, Jey eventually is able to push Breeze to the ropes. Breeze returns with a shoulder block prior to laying on the turnbuckle as Fandango cheers him on. They lock up, with Breeze quickly getting another headlock locked in on Jey. Jey pushes Breeze to the ropes, and drops down as Breeze comes back hits the ropes on the opposite side of the ring. Jey jumps up as Breeze runs under him and hits ropes once more before Jey attempts and arm drag. Breeze counters with an arm drag attempt of his own, but Jey is able to hit a clothesline instead. Jey imitates Breeze as he lays on the turnbuckle. Breeze runs at Jey, Jey dodges the attack as Breeze goes face first into the turnbuckle though. Jey chops Breeze twice before Fandango distracts him. Breeze attacks Jey from behind and stomps him several times before the referee backs him off. Breeze Irish Whips Jey into the ropes and then hits an elbow to his face. Breeze hits a leg drop and pins Jey for a one count. Jey blocks a strike from Breeze and punches Breeze in the face twice before clotheslining him over the top rope to the outside. Jey attempts a splash to the outside onto both Fandango and Tyler Breeze, but they both move out of the way, as Jey lands on his feet. Jey punches Fandango. Breeze kicks Jey as he gets onto the ring apron sending him back down to the outside. Breeze rolls out and Irish Whips Jey into the barricade. Breeze rolls Jey back into the ring and pins him for a two count. Breeze locks in another headlock. Jey eventually fights out of it and punches Breeze in the ribs before Breeze pushes Jey to the ropes and hits a dropkick on him. Jey rolls to the outside as we head into a commercial break.

Breeze gets a two count over Jey as we come back from commercial, before locking in another headlock. Jey fights out of the headlock. Jey attempts a kick that Breeze ducks, before attempting a second one that connects. Jey hits two clotheslines and a kick, before punching Breeze. Jey ducks a clothesline attempt from Breeze prior to hitting a Samoan Drop. Fandango grabs Jey's leg as Jey is running toward Breeze, allowing Breeze to send Jey over the top rope onto the ring apron. Jey punches Breeze and ascends the turnbuckle. Breeze dropkicks Jey. Breeze then attempts a superplex. Jey fights out of it and DDTs Breeze into the top rope. Jey pins Beeze for a two count. Breeze rolls out of the ring. Jey hits a running splash to the outside on Fandango and Breeze. Jey rolls Breeze back into the ring prior to attempting a splash off the top rope. Breeze gets his knees up and rolls Jey up for a two count. Jey eventually hits a superkick on Breeze and pins him for a two count. Jey runs at Breeze in the corner. Breezes moves out of the way as Jey jumps up to the second rope. Breeze pulls Jey's head down (while he's still on the second rope) before kicking him in the face and pinning him with his feet on the ropes for the win.
