Kenny Omega Comments On G-1 Victory, Vader Misses Appearances Following Will Ospreay Match, Ricochet

- As noted, Vader defeated Will Ospreay via pinfall at Friday's Revolution Pro Wrestling 'Uprising 2016' show at York Hall in Bethnal Green, London. Wrestling Inc. correspondent Scott H. noted that Vader was scheduled for autograph signings this weekend, but was pulled from those appearances. Promoters for the signing yesterday said that Vader had a very bad back and had to go back to his hotel. Vader is slated to appear in Scotland next week.

- EVOLVE announced that Ricochet will be returning and will face Zack Sabre Jr. at EVOLVE 69 on September 11th at La Boom in Queens, NY.

- As noted, Kenny Omega defeated Hirooki Goto to win the G-1 tournament. Omega commented on the huge victory, writing on Twitter:
