- Conor McGregor's head coach John Kavanagh weighed in on who he thinks the UFC lightweight champion should fight next. Echoing Mcgregor's previous statements, Kavanagh said he thinks the fight that makes the most sense is a unification bout with interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson.

"Tony Ferguson is the fight that makes sense at lightweight. I think that lightweight is Conor's ideal weight class, so Tony is the fight that seems right at the moment," Kavanagh told MMA Fighting at the premiere of McGregor's documentary in Dublin, Ireland. "It doesn't really matter how much Tony draws or doesn't draw, look at the guy he's facing. You could put Conor in there against anyone at the moment and people are going to want to watch it."
