WWE Raw Results 12/22 - The Vision Faces CM Punk & Rey Mysterio, Rhea Ripley Collides With Asuka

Welcome to Wrestling Inc.'s results for "WWE Raw" on December 22, 2025, coming to you from the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan!

Former rivals Rey Mysterio and current World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk will be joining forces with one another to go head-to-head with Bronson Reed and the newest member of The Vision Austin Theory. Following Reed and Theory's stablemate Logan Paul victory against Rey during last Monday's edition of "Raw", Theory revealed himself as the mystery hooded figure who's been helping The Vision pick up victories across the past few weeks (including Paul's that night). Although Theory was forced to back down when Punk ran down to the ring with a chair in hand, another Vision member Bron Breakker blindsided Punk with a spear ahead of challenging Punk for his title on January 5.

Rhea Ripley will be making her return to action as she goes head-to-head with one half of the reigning WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Asuka. As tensions between Ripley, her ally IYO SKY, Asuka, and her Kabuki Warriors tag team partner Kairi Sane continue to mount, Asuka sprayed her signature green mist into Ripley's eyes last Monday and Sane followed it up with an In-Sane Elbow to her. This prompted Ripley to request her match against Asuka from "Raw" General Manager Adam Pearce later that night, to which he subsequently made official.

Elsewhere in the women's division, Bayley will be squaring off with Judgment Day member Roxanne Perez. While Bayley does hold a win over Perez from the September 22 episode of "Raw", she did come up short to Perez's tag team partner and stablemate Raquel Rodriguez on the September 29 edition of the show.

"WWE NXT" star Je'Von Evans will be competing in his first match on "Raw" since coming up short against GUNTHER in a First Round match for The Last Time Is Now Tournament on November 17 as he goes head-to-head with Los Americano's Rayo Americano. Although Rayo Americano and his stablemate Bravo Americano haven't been seen on "Raw" much as of late, they've scored a series of wins against Chase U's Uriah Connors and Kale Dixon at several "NXT" Live Events across the last few weeks.

Additionally, reigning Women's Intercontinental Champion Maxxine Dupri will be making an appearance on tonight's show coming off her successful title defense against Ivy Nile of American Made last Monday. The aforementioned GUNTHER also has something on his mind to share after gloating about retiring John Cena at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event on December 13 in the opening moments of last Monday's show much to the disapproval of many in the live crowd.

We are live! The show kicks off with a video recapping what went down during the main event of last Monday's show.

Michael Cole and Corey Graves greet audiences at home before we see Paul Heyman have a chat with Austin Theory. Theory explains to Heyman that he wanted everyone to let his actions speak for themselves before he revealed his face, then says he takes now. He says he wants to take the opportunity to help out, and Heyman tells Theory that he finds that interesting.

Rhea Ripley then makes her way to the ring, telling IYO SKY to stay backstage because she can't protect her at ringside. Asuka and Kairi Sane follow.

Asuka then catches Ripley with a German suplex on the ring apron before she ascends to the top and looks to fly. Ripley intercepts Asuka with a kick and delivers a running knee to her, then connects with a cannonball on her off the apron.

We head backstage and see Paul Heyman catch up with Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker over the revelation that Austin Theory was the hooded figure. Heyman tells Reed and Breakker to carry Theory out of WWE if he fails to carry their Vision.

Back at ringside, Becky Lynch makes her way to the ring to take over the time that was supposed to be allotted to Maxxine Dupri.

We Hear From Becky Lynch

Lynch says it's not going to be a celebration for Maxxine Dupri because she's not the legitimate Women's Intercontinental Champion due to referee corruption and interference from AJ Lee. She says she knows the fans are sick of the corruption like she is, then says she knows some powerful people and has the most powerful lawyers in the country. She says she went to Netflix herself, and they told her to go to Grand Rapids to take matters into her own hands. She says she plans on doing just that because she's the greatest female wrestler of all time and it's not just her saying that.

Dupri's music hits and she makes her way out. She says she and everyone else hear Lynch, and while Lynch may be the greatest of all time, she's still beaten her three times. She says she knows Lynch wants an Women's Intercontinental Championship match at any time and place of her choosing, but she will still beat her. She says she will keep training until her blood, sweat, and tears are on the mat, then says while she wants Lynch to admit that she's not Women's intercontinental Champion, she won't. She says Lynch looks like someone who's afraid that her best years are behind her.

Lynch clocks Dupri and rains down right hands on her, then holds up the Women's Intercontinental Championship belt. She fires off more right hands on Dupri, but Dupri manages to cinch in an Ankle Lock on Lynch. Lynch taps out and rolls out of the ring as Dupri holds up her Women's Intercontinental Championship belt.

We then head backstage, where Adam Pearce asks Stephanie Vaquer how she wants to deal with Nikki Bella and Raquel Rodriguez both wanting her Women's World Championship. Vaquer says she's willing to take them both on, and Pearce makes a Triple Threat Women's World Championship Match between Vaquer, Nikki, and Rodriguez official for next Monday.

Back at ringside, Los Americanos make their way to the ring. Je'Von Evans follow.

He delivers a springboard forearm to Rayo off the top rope and goes for a pin, but Rayo kicks out.

Winner: Je'Von Evans

After the match, Los Americanos look to beat down Evans. Evans slides out of the ring before they can.

Nikki appears at ringside and says the most famous person just walked into the building. She gloats about being a legend, Hall of Famer, and former champion as she stands up on the announce desk before asking how Grand Rapids knows what champions look like rooting for the Detriot Lions NFL team. She says champions look like the Philadelphia Eagles NFL team or the Ohio State Buckeyes NCAA football team, then promises to destroy Stephanie Vaquer's reign as Women's World Champion next week.

Bayley and Lyra Valkyria then make their way to the ring. Roxanne Perez and Liv Morgan follow.

Bayley (w/ Lyra Valkyria) vs. Roxanne Perez (w/ Liv Morgan)

The bell rings and the two lock up. Bayley pins Perez, but Perez kicks out and rolls to the outside for a breather. Morgan fans Perez, but Perez looks to fly through the ropes. Bayley intercepts Perez and gets her up on her shoulders, but Perez escapes and delivers a chop block to Perez. She fires off right hands on Bayley's spine, then drives her knee into the mat back in the ring.

Perez sends Bayley's leg bouncing off the ring post twice, then wrenches on her knee using the ropes back from the break. Bayley runs over Perez with a pair of clotheslines and a Thesz Press, then rains down right hands on Perez.

The referee checks on Perez as Bayley runs the ropes, but Morgan trips Bayley as she does so and distracts the referee. Perez exposes the middle turnbuckle as Morgan does so, then sends Bayley crashing into it and pins her. Unbeknownst to her, Rodriguez is distracting the referee and misses the count. This opens the door for Valkyria to deliver a crossbody off the announce desk to take out Morgan and Rodriguez on the outside.

Bayley delivers a back suplex to Perez, and Valkyria fires her up by asking where the Grand Slam Champion version of Bayley is. Bayley then rocks Perez with a knee and fires off right hands and left hands on her in the corner, then connects with a pair of double knees to her and an elbow drop off the top rope for the win.
