AEW Dynamite Results 2/4 - AEW World Championship Eliminator, AEW National Championship Up For Grabs

Ricochet of The Demand will be putting the AEW National Championship on the line as he defends against Jack Perry. Not only did Perry previously unsuccessfully challenge Ricochet for the National Championship during the "Dynamite" New Year's Smash special on December 31, but he also defeated Anthony Bowens in a Number One Contenders on the "AEW Collison" Maximum Carnage special on January 17.

Brody King looks to secure the right to challenge for the AEW World Championship when he collides with titleholder MJF in an Eliminator Match. King has been looking to seek retribution against MJF since he retained the AEW World Championship against King's ally Bandido at the "Dynamite" Maximum Carnage special on January 14 and embarrassed him in the moments that followed the match.

Aside from King, MJF has had no shortage of talent keeping their eyes on his AEW World Championship, including the lines of Kenny Omega and Andrade El Idolo of The Don Callis Family. With MJF having made it clear that Omega will have to rack up some wins in order to earn his shot, he emerged victorious against El Idolo's stablemate Rocky Romero in quick fashion during last Wednesday's edition of "Dynamite", while El Idolo scored a win of his own against Swerve Strickland in the main event of that same show. Following their respective wins, Omega and El Idolo will be going head-to-head with one another in singles competition.

Additionally, fellow member of The Don Callis Family Mark Davis looks to redeem himself after himself and Jake Doyle unsuccessfully challenged FTR for the AEW World Tag Team Championship last Wednesday when he squares off with "Hangman" Adam Page.

We are live! The show kicks off with MJF and Brody King sending messages to one another, as well as Kenny Omega and Don Callis and Babes of Wrath and Megabad (Penelope Ford and Megan Bayne) doing the same.

Excalibur and Tony Schiavone greet audiences at home as The Death Riders make their way to the ring. The Don Callis Family follows.

Daniel Garcia and Josh Alexander begin the action. The bell rings and the two lock up. Alexander fires off chops on Garcia, but Garcia rocks Alexander with forearms and runs over Alexander with a shoulder tackle.

PAC and El Clon tag in and lock up, but PAC looks to land a hurricanrana on Clon. Clon lands on his feet and rocks PAC with a kick to his head, but Konoske Takeshita and Jon Moxley tag in. They stare one another down and exchange forearm strikes with one another, but Alexander and Clon blindside Moxley from behind while PAC and Garcia go after one another.

Garcia tags in and immediately tags out to PAC. The Death Riders triple team on Takeshita, but Moxley tags in and continues wearing down Takeshita. Clon and PAC tag in, but PAC lands a German suplex on Clon and runs the ropes. Alexander trips him as he does so.

Back from the break, Alexander sends PAC crashing into the mat and ascends to the middle rope. He looks to fly, but PAC moves out of the way and Alexander's knee is sent crashing into the mat. Takeshita and Moxley then both tag back in, but Moxley lands a back suplex on Takeshita and connects with a right hand on him.

Moxley sends an interfering Alexander crashing out of the ring and catches Clon with a cutter as he flies off the middle rope. Garcia tags back in and cinches in the Dragon Tamer on Takeshita. Moxley delivers a Curb Stomp on Takeshita and Garcia pins him, but Alexander breaks the fall.

Clon flies off the ropes to level PAC with a springboard moonsault, and Moxley delivers a tope suicida to take out Alexander and Clon. Inside the ring, Takeshita pins Garcia but Garcia kicks out. Takeshita then lands a Blue Thunder Bomb on Garcia, but Garcia catches Takeshita with an overhand chop. Takeshita then delivers a belly-to-back piledriver to Garcia and follows it up with a wheelbarrow German suplex on him. Clon and Alexander then double team on Garcia and hold him in place for Takeshita to land a running knee. Takeshita then lands Raging Fire on Garcia for the win.

Winners: The Don Callis Family

Toni Storm and Orange Cassidy then make their way to the ring. Jordan Oasis and Brittnie Brooks are already waiting in the ring.

Cassidy and Oasis begin the action. The bell rings and Oasis dares Cassidy to slap him. Cassidy does so lightly and places his hands in his pocket, then lands a shotgun dropkick on Cassidy.

Storm and Brooks tag in, but Storm fires off strikes on Brooks and dumps her across the ring twice. She lands a German suplex on her, but Oasis tags himself back in and Cassidy gets in the ring. Cassidy helps Storm avoid getting clocked by Oasis, and the pair tango in the ring. Storm levels Oasis and lands a splash on Brooks, then connects with a Tornado DDT on her out of the corner. Cassidy lands a Tornado DDT on Oasis, and Storm follows it up with a Hip Attack on him. Cassidy follows it up with an Orange Punch on him for the win.

Winners: Toni Storm and Orange Cassidy

After the match, Cassidy grabs a microphone as Luther joins him and Storm in the ring. Cassidy and Storm both express regrets about agreeing to take part in a tag team match against Marina Shafir and Wheeler Yuta at AEW Grand Slam: Australia in which the person who gets pinned will have their head shaved. Storm pulls herself and Cassidy together, with Storm promising to make Shafir look like Moxley while Cassidy takes the hair of Cassidy.

We then head outside the arena, where Gabe Kidd and Clark Connors attack Darby Allin and kidnap him in the trunk of their car. 

"Hangman" Adam Page then makes his way to the ring. Mark Davis follows. 

The bell rings and Page lands a shotgun dropkick on Davis. Davis levels Page with a pair of chops and follows it up with a suplex to him, then fires off right hands on Page and lands a back elbow on Page on the outside as Page sits on a chair.

Back from the break, Page sends Davis crashing into the mat off the middle rope. He rocks Davis with a clothesline to him out of the corner, then looks to pull Davis off the apron with a Sunset Flip. Davis hangs on and lands a senton on Page, but Page ascends up onto the guard rail where the fans are and lands an Orihara Moonsault on him.

Page ascends to the top rope and lands a moonsault on Davis when the pair return to the ring. Davis gets Page up for a powerbomb, but Page reverses into a hurricanrana and levels him with a lariat. He follows it up with a piledriver to Page and pins him, but Page kicks out.

Page lands Dead Eye on Davis and pins him, but Davis kicks out and delivers a Tombstone to Davis on the entrance ramp. He follows it up with the Buckshot Lariat to him for the win.

After the match, Page grabs a microphone and puts both Kenny Omega and MJF on notice as he tells Omega that he hopes to meet in him in the ring rather than Andrade El Idolo in a Number One Contenders match for the AEW World Championship at Grand Slam" Australia.

Andrade El Idolo, Lance Archer, and Don Callis then makes his way to the ring, with Callis joining the commentary team. Kenny Omega follows.

The bell rings and the two lock up. They exchange chops with one another, but Omega levels El Idolo with a right hand and flies over the top rope to level him on the outside. He sets up for a One Winged Angel on El Idolo, but El Idolo escapes and lands a suplex on Omega.

Omega fires off strikes on El Idolo back in the ring as El Idolo sits on the top rope, but Omega joins him up there and lands a superplex on El Idolo. He lands a chop on El Idolo, then connects with a moonsault on El Idolo off the middle rope. Omega rolls up El Idolo, but El Idolo kicks out and delivers The Three Amigos to Omega. He then lands a suplex on Omega.

Back from the break, Omega looks to land a running knee on El Idolo in the corner. He cinches in a Figure Four Leg Lock on Omega, but Omega reverses the hold and El Idolo crawls over to the bottom rope to break the hold.

Omega and El Idolo exchange right hands with one another, but Omega lands a V-Trigger and sets up for a One Winged Angel on El Idolo. El Idolo escapes and lands a Hammerlock DDT on Omega, then follows it up with a meteora on him and goes for a pin. Omega kicks out.

El Idolo sets up for the DM on Omega, but Omega escapes and the pair exchange chops with one another. Callis tosses El Idolo a screw driver as the referee checks on Omega and distracts her. El Idolo looks to hit Omega with the screw driver, but Swerve Strickland appears and grabs the screwdriver from El Idolo. El Idolo still manages to low blow Omega, which opens the door for him to then land the DM on Omega for the win.

Winner: Andrade El Idolo

After the match, Omega gets in Strickland's face and the two shove one another. Security runs out to the ring to keep the two men separated.
