TNA Thursday Night iMPACT Results 2/26 - The Nemeths Face Mike Santana & Leon Slater, Eight Man Tag Match

Welcome to Wrestling Inc.'s results for "TNA Thursday Night iMPACT" on February 26, 2026, coming to you from The Pinnacle in Nashville, Tennessee!

TNA World Champion Mike Santana will be joining forces with X-Division Champion Leon Slater to go head-to-head with Nic Nemeth and Ryan Nemeth. After Santana apologized to Slater during last Thursday's edition of "Thursday Night iMPACT" for leaving him alone in the ring with Nic Nemeth and Eddie Eddie Edwards during their tag team match at TNA No Surrender on February 13 as he brawled with Steve Maclin, Nic Nemeth and Ryan Nemeth confronted the pair with some choice words for them.

Speaking of Eddie, he will be joining forces with his System stablemates Cedric Alexander, Brian Myers, and Bear Bronson to take on TNA World Tag Team Champions Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy, and The Righteous' Vincent and Dutch in an Eight Man Tag Team Match. Matt, Jeff, and The Righteous previously teamed up at No Surrender in a losing effort to Order 4's Mustafa Ali, Special Agent 0, Jason Hotch, and John Skyler in another Eight Man Tag Team Match.

While Ali, Agent 0, Hotch, and Skyler will not be in action tonight, their stablemate Tasha Steelz will be as she collides with Jada Stone. Stone hasn't been seen since herself and Elijah lost to Ali and Steelz in a Mixed Tag Team Match on the February 5 episode of "Thursday Night iMPACT" due to a Tombstone that Ali had landed on Stone while the referee was distracted.

Mickie James and The Elegance Brand's Ash By Elegance will be meeting with one another. James made her return to TNA Wrestling at No Surrender moments after Ash's stablemates M By Elegance and Heather By Elegance had retained the Knockouts World Tag Team Championship against Indi Hartwell and Xia Brookside and a brawl broke out between all six women.

Elsewhere, the aforementioned Maclin will also be making an appearance on tonight's show with something on his mind to share. Maclin was fired as part of the Feast or Fired Match from the January 22 edition of "Thursday Night iMPACT", and asked TNA commentator Tom Hannifan to get him a conversation with management.

Additionally, Dani Luna will be competing in her first match since scoring a win against Harley Hudson on the January 8 episode of "Thursday Night iMPACT" as she squares off with former Knockouts World Champion Léi Yǐng Lee. Mance Warner will also be taking on AJ Francis after a backstage confrontation and subsequent brawl broke out between the pair in Francis' dressing room last Thursday.

We are live! Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt greet audiences at home as Mike Santana and Leon Slater make their way to the ring. Nic Nemeth and Ryan Nemeth follow, and Frankie Kazarian joins the commentary desk.

Winner: AJ Francis (via disqualification)

Mickie James then makes her way to the ring.

Mickie James and Ash By Elegance Meet One Another

James says it's good to be back in Nashville, then says she heard what Ash had to say and demands that she come to the ring.

The Personal Concierge instead appears, but James tells him to leave. Ash storms out to ringside and says people paid to see her rather than James. James says she thought Ash could come to the ring by herself so they could have a chat as friends, then says she remembers a time that Ash was released. She says she called Tommy Dreamer and got Ash a job when she was released from WWE. Ash claims she was the hottest free agent at the time, but James says everyone knew it wasn't true.

Ash says TNA Wrestling came after her because she's trendy every single week. James says Ash isn't trendy for the reasons that she thinks, then says without the fans, she wouldn't be standing in the ring. She says for the first time, the fans believed in Ash when she arrived in TNA Wrestling but Ash still turned her back on them.

Ash says she doesn't care about the people, then says she only cares about herself and the TNA Knockouts World Championship. Ash says it was none of James' business what happened to her, then says she put in the hard work and says she's better than the fans, legends, and James herself. She says she's hardcore country, then says if Ash doesn't want to talk about things like a lady, they can fight instead.

We head backstage and see James' son sitting with Jody Threat and Gabby LaSpisa. The Elegance Brand stumbles across the trio, and James looks to run backstage when she sees this. Heather By Elegance and M By Elegance attack James on the entrance ramp, and Ash tells James to cry about her son. She lands a DDT on James on top of the entrance ramp and heads to the back with the rest of The Elegance Brand.

Stone kicks out and rocks Steelz with a right hand to her face, then delivers a kick to her and follows it up with a Sling Blade. She goes for a pin, but Steelz kicks out.

Stone looks to fly off the ropes, but Steelz intercepts her with a German suplex and sets up for a cutter on her. Stone then reverses into a pinfall for the win.

After the match, Hotch and Skyler dumps Stone back in the ring. Steelz is waiting with a cutter to her and rains down right hands on her, then stands tall above Stone.

We Hear From Steve Maclin

Tom Hannifan introduces Maclin as he says that it wasn't easy for TNA management to agree to the upcoming conversation. Maclin then makes his way to the ring surrounded by security guards, and Hannifan says he's been friends with Maclin for more than a decade. He says they're honest with one another and asks Maclin to explain his recent actions involving Mike Santana.

Maclin says it isn't about Santana, but about him and getting fired from TNA Wrestling. He says many in the back thanked him for what he did for the company after he got fired in Feast or Fired, then says the day he got fired made him think. He says he volunteered for his country in the United States Marine Corps, but Hannifan cuts Maclin off and asks Maclin if he's really saying that everything about his past justifies what he did to Santana. Maclin responds by saying Santana never showed up to one of their tag matches and later telling him that he was going through something, then says Santana was being selfish and tells Hannifan that he could talk about all the struggles he's faced in the past and continues to face in the present in his personal life.

Maclin says himself and Hannifan are supposed to be friends, then says Hannifan is supposed to be on his side. He says he's the reason that Hannifan has his job in TNA Wrestling, and Hannifan tells Maclin that he's right in saying he got him the job. He says he's tried everything to help Maclin, but Maclin never takes accountability and always blames someone else.

Maclin lands a right hand on Hannifan's midsection, but Mike Santana's music hits and he runs into the ring from the crowd. Maclin retreats to the outside as Santana checks on Maclin.

The System then makes their way to the ring. The Righteous and The Hardys follow.

Alexander then tags back in and delivers a German suplex to Vincent, but Matt tags back and starts taking out Alexander, Myers, and Alexander. He delivers a double Twist of Fate to Eddie and Myers, then catches Eddie with Twist of Fate and pins him. Eddie kicks out before everyone starts taking out one another.

Vincent makes the blind tag in, but Eddie sends Matt crashing into the mat with a sidewalk slam. He catches Vincent with a Shining Wizard in the ring and pins him for the win.

Winners: The System

After the match, The System continues beating down The Hardys and The Righteous. Moose's music hits and he makes his way out. He clocks Bronson on the entrance ramp, then levels Alexander and Myers with right hands. Bronson catches a kick from Moose, and The System takes advantage by beating him down in the ring. Alisha Edwards runs out to the ring to protect Moose and tells The System to stop beating him down. She continues berating them as the show goes off the air.
