AEW Dynamite Results 4/1 - Kenny Omega & MJF Make Their Dynasty Match Official, Two Trios Matches & More
Welcome to Wrestling Inc.'s results for "AEW Dynamite" on April 1, 2026, coming to you live from the Canada Life Center in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada!
Kenny Omega will be challenging MJF for the AEW World Championship at AEW Dynasty on April 12 after defeating Swerve Strickland during last Wednesday's episode of "Dynamite" to secure his title match and keep his Executive Vice President title in AEW. Not only will Omega and MJF be putting pen-to-paper to make their Dynasty match official tonight in his hometown, but Omega will also be joining forces with Jurassic Express member and reigning AEW National Champion "Jungle Boy" Jack Perry and Brody King to take on The Demand's Ricochet, Toa Liona, and Bishop Kaun in a Trios Match.
The Brawling Birds' Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor scored a win against Triangle of Madness' Skye Blue and Julia Hart during the March 21 "AEW Collision" Slam Dunk Saturday special. Tonight, Blue and Hart have their chance to seek retribution when they join forces with their stablemate and reigning AEW Women's World Champion Thekla to take on Hayter, Windsor, and Mina Shirakawa. After Shirakawa, Hayter, and Windsor defeated Haven Harris, Nixi XS, and Aminah Belmont on this past Saturday's episode of "Collision", Hayter made it clear to Shirakawa that herself and Windsor didn't attack Shirakawa's very close friend Toni Storm. When Windsor called out Triangle of Madness, the trio appeared to challenge The Brawling Birds and Shirakawa to face them anytime.
Additionally, Will Ospreay will be colliding with The Death Riders' PAC before he challenges PAC's stablemate Jon Moxley for the Continental Championship at Dynasty.
We are live! Tony Schiavone introduces Kenny Omega and MJF for their contract signing. Pyro unexpectedly goes off, and Chris Jericho's music hits. He makes his way out and says he's home in both Winnipeg and AEW.
Excalibur, Schiavone, and Nigel McGuinness then greet audiences at home, but are interrupted when we see Will Ospreay attack Jon Moxley backstage. Wheeler Yuta tries pulling Ospreay off Moxley, but Ospreay sends him crashing on top of several metal barrels. Security then appears and drags Ospreay away.
Back at ringside, MJF makes his way out. Kenny Omega follows.
Kenny Omega and MJF Make Their AEW World Championship Dynasty Match Official
MJF wastes no time signing the contract and slides it over to Omega. Omega follows suit, but MJF looks to speak.
Omega cuts MJF off and tells him to quiet down, then says he knows what MJF has in mind and knows what kind of man he is. He says MJF rehearsed whatever he's about to say in the bathroom mirror, then says it won't work that way this time. He says it won't go the way that MJF planned, then says MJF has said the people are there for him. He says none of the fans are actually there for MJF, but to watch the best wrestle and says he didn't sign the contract for an exchange of words but for the AEW World Championship.
Omega says the fans have stood behind him because they wanted something better than MJF, then says if he's the opposite of what MJF is, someone needs to knock MJF down a peg and ensure he's never close to the AEW World Championship again.
MJF says he could sit in the ring and talk about how Omega is one strong gust of wind away from being injured like Kota Ibushi. He questions why Omega has been so enamoured by winning the AEW WOrld Championship, then says before Omega returned to AEW, he had a doctors visit where he was informed that Omega's diverticulitis got to the point where his intestines could explode at any point. He says Omega's stomach is a ticking time bomb and both his career and life are a fast winding clock. He says when he's done with Omega at Dynasty, all of Omega's fans will have no choice but to be embarrassed and ashamed of him.
Omega flips the table and clocks MJF, but "Speedball" Mike Bailey appears and calms Omega down. He grabs MJF's microphone from him and tells MJF that he's trying to get Omega to hate him in order to avoid defending his AEW World Championship. He says without Omega, there is no AEW and without AEW, there's no MJF. He says MJF is only a living legend in his mind, then challenges MJF to a match tonight. Omega asks MJF if he should tell the fans the bad news that MJF received from his doctor, then says he'd rather be missing his intestines than his balls. This forces MJF to accept Bailey's challenge as a means of proving that he isn't afraid.
The Demand then make their way to the ring. Brody King and "Jungle Boy" Jack Perry follow.
Kenny Omega, Jack Perry, and Brody King vs. The Demand

Perry looks to fly over the top rope, but Kaun and Liona catch him on the outside. King flies to level The Demand and Omega looks to follow suit, but Ricochet intercepts Omega and flies over the top rope with a moonsault to level King on the outside.
Omega lands a V-Trigger on Ricochet back in the ring, but Ricochet catches with a reverse hurricanrana and Liona sends King crashing through the table on the outside. Ricochet lands a Falcon Arrow on Omega inside the ring and pins him, but Omega kicks out.
Kaun slides Ricochet the AEW National Championship belt, but Perry levels Kaun and stops Ricochet from grabbing the belt. Ricochet levels Perry and rolls up Omega, but Omega kicks out and lands a V-Trigger on Ricochet. He follows with a One Winged Angel for the win.
Winners: Kenny Omega, Jack Perry, and Brody King
We then head backstage, where Adam Copeland and Christian Cage arrive at the Canada Life Center with chairs in hand. They find FTR and break into their dressing room, but instead find Trent Beretta and Rocky Romero waiting inside and hit them with chairs.
Back at ringside, PAC makes his way to the ring. Will Ospreay follows.
Will Ospreay vs. PAC
PAC sneaks around to the entrance ramp and attacks Ospreay. He lands a vertical suplex on Ospreay on the entrance ramp, and medical officials rush out to the ring to check on him.

Back from another break, Ospreay delivers a powerbomb to PAC. PAC responds with a Tombstone to Ospreay and lands a Black Arrow on Ospreay, then cinches in a Brutalizer on him. Ospreay then reverses things to pin PAC for the win.
Winner: Will Ospreay
After the match, Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia, Claudio Castagnoli, Marina Shafir, and Jon Moxley join PAC in the ring. The Death Riders beat down Ospreay and slide his neck into a chair, but Moxley stops Castagnoli before he can do anything. Moxley then points out that it's 6 against 1 and invites Ospreay to use his head next time unless he wants to lose it permanently. He says things between himself and Ospreay aren't personal and warns him against making them personal.
Triangle of Madness then make their way to the ring. The Brawling Bids and Mina Shirakawa follow.

Thekla and Shirakawa begin the action. The bell rings and the two lock up. Skye Blue tags in, but Blue sends Shirakawa crashing into the corner. Shirakawa levels Blue with a clothesline, but Alex Windsor tags in and delivers an Atomic Drop to Blue. Jamie Hayter tags in and double teams on Blue with Windsor.
Shirakawa tags back in and lands a Tornillo on Blue over the top rope and into the ring. Thekla lands a double stomp on Shirakawa's spine off the ring apron, then dumps her back in the ring where Blue is waiting.
Back from the break, Thekla looks to use a pair of brass knuckles. Hayter fights her off and lands a clothesline-spinebuster combination on her with Windsor. Hayter then levels Hart and follows it up with the Hayter Line on her for the win.
Winners: The Brawling Birds and Mina Shirakawa
Darby Allin storms out to ringside and calls out MJF. He says MJF is using The Don Callis Family to hide from him because he's afraid. Don Callis appears alongside El Clon, Hechicero, Lance Archer, and Andrade El Idolo. Callis says that himself and MJF selected Andrade to face Allin at Dynasty, and if Allin can defeat Andrade, then he gets an AEW World Championship match.
A surprised Andrade speaks with Callis as Archer looks to attack Allin. Allin fights him off, but Clon and Hechicero look to attack Allin. "Jungle Boy" Jack Perry and Brody King come to Allin's aid, but Kenny Omega appears to join the commentary desk for the upcoming match and tensely stares down Allin on the entrance ramp. MJF and "Speedball" Mike Bailey follow Omega.
