WWE Raw Results 6/8 - Two Championships Up For Grabs, KOTR & QOTR First Round Matches

Sol Ruca will be putting the Women's Intercontinental Championship on the line for the first time since dethroning Becky Lynch at WWE Clash in Italy on May 31 as she defends against Lyra Valkyria. With Ruca having promised to be a fighting champion and give a shot to anyone who wishes to answer the call during last Monday's edition of "Raw", she extended the offer to Valkyria backstage later that same night as Valkyria's longtime ally Bayley stood by showing a hint of jealousy.
Penta will be putting the Intercontinental Championship on the line on television for the first time since retaining against Je'Von Evans on the May 25 episode of "Raw" as he defends against Rey Mysterio. Rey emerged victorious against Rusev in a Number One Contenders match on May 25 to secure his spot in today's match.
Speaking of Evans, he will be competing in a match of his own as he collides with Ricky Saints, Talla Tonga, and Seth Rollins in a First Round Fatal Four-Way match for the 2026 King of the Ring Tournament. As of writing, Oba Femi and Dominik Mysterio have advanced to the semifinals by winning Fatal Four-Way First Round matches of their own on the June 1 episode of "Raw" and June 5 episodes of "SmackDown" respectively.
The 2026 Queen of the Ring Tournament is also set to continue, as Women's World Champion Liv Morgan will be going head-to-head with Alexa Bliss, Chelsea Green, and Becky Lynch in a First Round Fatal Four-Way match after she's made it clear that she wants all of the gold in WWE. IYO SKY and Raquel Rodriguez have already secured their spots in the semifinals with First Round Fatal Four-Way match victories of their own on June 1 and 8 respectively.
We are live! Michael Cole and Corey Graves greet audiences at home as Oba Femi makes his way to the ring.
We Hear From Oba Femi
Femi says the fans are wonderful, but there are things that need attending to and says Paul Heyman doesn't believe in predictions but spoilers. He says he has a spoiler in Paris and says he will run through every single man in the 2026 King of the Ring Tournament down to the last one. He says he'll beat the last one at WWE Night of Champions on June 27 and says "The Ruler" needs a crown to be "The Ruler". He says 2026 is the year of collecting trophies, but one trophy he has yet to collect is the head of Brock Lesnar. He says Lesnar is nowhere to be seen after getting even, then says all he's seen instead is Heyman. He says Lesnar can't stay away and promises to see him soon.
Dominik Mysterio's music hits and he makes his way out. He says Femi doesn't rule anybody and says he's worried about Lesnar, but really he should be worried about him and asks Femi how long he's been in WWE. He says he's a twenty year veteran of WWE and the King of the Luchadors, then says once he's the 2026 King of the Ring, he will rule over Femi.
JD McDonagh sneaks up behind Femi and cracks a chair across his spine. Femi no sells it and uses the chair to land a right hand on McDonagh, but Dominik dials it up for a 619 on Femi. Femi sees Dominik coming and sends him crashing into the mat spine first, but McDonagh pulls Dominik out of the ring. Femi says Rey Mysterio may be Dominik's dad, but he'll be his daddy in their 2026 King of the Ring semifinals match next Monday.
We then head backstage, where Jackie Redmond catches up with Seth Rollins. Rollins calls out Roman Reigns to put him on notice and says he plans on taking back the World Heavyweight Championship from him at WWE SummerSlam on August 1 and 2 by winning the 2026 King of the Ring Tournament.
Alexa Bliss then makes his way to the ring. Chelsea Green, Becky Lynch, and Liv Morgan all follow.
Liv Morgan vs. Alexa Bliss vs. Chelsea Green vs. Becky Lynch in a First Round Fatal Four-Way Match for the 2026 Queen of the Ring Tournament
The bell rings and Green tries to forge an alliance with Lynch. Lynch looks ot send her crahsing into the mat, but Green lands on her feet and looks to align with Bliss. Bliss responds in the same way that Lynch did to Green.
Lynch sends Green crashing out of the ring, but Bliss lands a shotgun dropkick on Lynch as Morgan watches from out of the ring. She sneaks into the ring and looks to land Oblivion on Bliss, but Bliss avoids it and sends Morgan crashing out of the ring. She delivers a cannonball off the apron to level Lynch on the outside, but Green takes out Bliss and Morgan with a crossbody off the top rope. Lynch then sends Green crashing into the ring post face first.
Lynch sends Morgan's face bouncing off the announce desk face first, then fires off right hands on Bliss back in the ring. Bliss sends Lynch crahsing out of the ring, but Morgan catches Bliss with a codebreaker and sends her crahsin gout of the ring.
Green catches Morgan with a back elbow, but Morgan delivers The Three Amigos to her. Bliss and Green land a double superplex Lynch and Morgan, but Bliss levels Lynch with a shotgun dropkick back from the break and delivers a double senton to Lynch and Morgan.
Green delivers pairs of double knees to Lynch and Morgan in opposite corners, but Bliss delivers a shotgun dropkick to Morgan and connects with a DDT on her. She goes for a pin, but Green kicks out and Bliss ascends to the top rope.
Lynch trips Bliss, but Green pulls Lynch off the ropes and joins Bliss on them. Morgan delivers a powerbomb to Green and pins her, but Bliss flies off the top rope with Twisted Bliss to break the fall. Bliss then pins Morgan, but Lynch breaks the fall.
Lynch rains down right hands on Morgan and Bliss, but Bliss delivers Sister Abigail to Morgan. She goes for a pin, but Lynch breaks the fall and delivers a Man Handle Slam to Bliss. Green delivers Unprettier to Lynch and pins her, but Morgan rolls up Green up to pin her for the win.
Winner: Liv Morgan
We then head backstage, where Chad Gable makes amends with Penta for assuming the mask of OG El Grande Americano as he continues his quest to do so with several luchadors on the WWE roster.
We then head over to the men's locker room, where The Usos and Jacob Fatu confront Seth Rollins as Montez Ford stands by. Rollins tells The Usos that the best it may ever get for them is being bag boys for Reigns. Jey tells Fatu to go after Rollins, and Fatu stares him down.
Sol Ruca then makes her way to the ring. Lyra Valkyria follows.
Sol Ruca (c) vs. Lyra Valkyria for the Women's Intercontinental Championship
The bell rings and the two lock up. Valkyria rocks Ruca with an enzuigiri, but Ruca rocks Valkyria with a kick to her head from the apron. Valkyria dumps Ruca out of the ring over the top rope, then lands a right hand on her spine.
Valkyria cinches in a submission on Ruca during the commercial break, then whips her into opposite corners spine first. Ruca rolls up Valkyria, but Valkyria kicks out and Ruca fires off chops on her chest back from the break. She whips him into the corner chest first, but Valkyria sets up for a Tornado DDT on Ruca out of the corner. Ruca lands on her feet, but Valkyria catches Ruca with a shotgun dropkick.
Valkyria gets Ruca up on her shoulders when Ruca sets up for a Sol Snatcher. Ruca then intercepts Valkyria with a Sol Snatcher for the win.
Winner (and still): Sol Ruca
LA Knight then makes his way to the ring.
We Hear From LA Knight
Knight says he wants to talk to the fans, then addresses his First Round Fatal Four-Way Match for the 2026 King of the Ring Tournament against Finn Balor, Royce Keys, and Jey Uso on this coming Friday's episode of "SmackDown". He says Roman Reigns is a guy who's empire is on the verge of collapse. He calls out The Usos and says he doesn't take orders from Reigns nor does he fall in line to the "Tribal Chief". He says he's the chief in this neighbourhood, then ponders challenging Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Champion at SummerSlam. He says there is a stark difference in the way that Adam Pearce talked to him last week and to Reigns two weeks ago, then says while he may not be one of Pearce's favorites, the fans chose him and he chose himself. Knight says he doesn't know how to quit or stop, then wishes Jey Uso luck that he can win their match on Friday on his own without his family.
Jey's music hits and he makes his way out. He says he's now in Paris and runs his entrance back with the fans. Knight cuts off Jey and asks why he's in the ring, and Jey tells Knight to stay in his lane. He says he didn't need luck because he's still "Main Event" Jey Uso, then promises to show Knight who he is on Friday.
Jey looks to leave, but Knight stops him and says he loves Jey is protecting his family. He wishes Jey good luck once again, but says "screw Jey's family". Jey looks to storm back to the ring, but Jimmy Uso appears to stop him.
We then head backstage, where Chad Gable makes amends with Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee over OG El Grande Americano.
Back at ringside, Penta makes his way out. Rey and Lee follow.
Penta (c) vs. Rey Mysterio for the Intercontinental Championship
The bell rings and Rey connects with a hurricanrana on Penta. The action spills out of the ring, and Penta lands a chop on Rey. Rey dumps Penta back in the ring during the commercial break, but Penta whips Rey into the ropes and delivers a kick to him. He delivers a leg drop to Rey's groin, but Penta delivers a tope con hilo to Rey on the outside. Rey responds with a Sunset Flip powerbomb on Penta to send him crashing into one of the barricades.
During another commercial break, Penta gets Rey in a Gorilla Press position and sends him crashing into the ring apron. The two men get back in the ring, and Penta levels Rey with a clothesline. He goes for a pin, but Rey kicks out and Penta sets up for a Penta Driver. Rey avoids it and runs the ropes, but Penta catches him with a superkick and delivers a Penta Driver to him back from the break. He goes for a pin, but Rey kicks out.
Penta sets up for a Mexican Destroyer, but Rey delivers a poisionrana to Penta and dropkicks him into the middle rope. He dials it up for a 619 and connects with a Frog Splash to him over the top rope, then goes for a pin but Penta kicks out.
Penta and Rey exchange right hands with one another, but Rey sends Penta crashing into the middle rope and dials it up for a 619. He ascends to the top rope and looks to land a Frog Splash on Penta, but Penta gets his knees up and lands a Mexican Destroyer on Rey for the win.
Winner (and still): Penta
After the match, Ethan Page and Rusev blindside Penta and Rey from behind. Rusev runs over Penta with a kick, but Dragon Lee runs out to come to Penta and Rey's aid. Page pulls Lee out of the ring and sends him crashing over the barricade near the timekeeper's area, and Rusev pulls off Rey's mask in the ring. Penta shield's Rey's face and Page fires off stops on both men, but Chad Gable runs out of the ring and delivers German suplexes to Page and Rusev. Gable then picks up Rey's mask and hands it to Penta in order to give back to Rey.
Seth Rollins then makes his way to the ring. Je'Von Evans, Talla Tonga, and Ricky Saints follow.
Seth Rollins vs. Je'Von Evans vs. Talla Tonga vs. Ricky Saints in a First Round Fatal Four-Way Match for the 2026 King of the Ring Tournament
The bell rings and Rollins is sent crashing out of the ring. Saints joins him on the outside and fires off right hands on him, and Talla levels Evans in the ring. Rollins slides back inside and stares down Talla, but Talla levels Rollins with a shoulder tackle.
Evans and Rollins fire off right hands and left hands on Talla's midsection, and the pair look to clothesline Talla out of the ring. They run the ropes, but Saints trips Rollins and Talla levels Evans. Saints tosses Rollins over to Talla in order for him to deliver a clothesline to him, but Talla takes out Evans with a bodyslam and Saints holds Rollins in place for Talla to deliver a chop to him.
Saints holds Evans in place for Talla to deliver another chop to him, then proposes an alliance to Talla. Talla high fives Saints, but runs him over with a big boot and throws Evans over the top rope to level Rollins and Saints on the outside.
During the commercial break, Rollins fires off a chop on Talla. Talla levels Rollins with a chop of his own, but Rollins clotheslines Talla over the barricade near the timekeeper's area. Evans flies over the barricade to send Talla crashing on top of a table, but Rollins fires off right hands on Saints.
Saints catches Evans with a kick and follows it up with the Revolution DDT. He goes for a pin, but Evans kicks out.
Saints ascends to the top rope, but Evans rocks him with a kick to his head from the apron and meets him up there. Evans catches Saints with a Spanish Fly, but Rollins delivers a Pedigree to him. Rollins low bridges Talla out of the ring over the top rope, but Saints gets Evans up on his shoulders. Evans sends Saints crashing out of the ring and flies over the top rope to level Rollins, Saints, and Talla on the outside.
Evans ascends up the ropes, but Saints trips him up and meets him on them. Rollins joins the pair, but Talla pulls all three men off the ropes. Evans lands on his feet and rocks Talla with a kick to his head, but Talla runs over Evans with a clothesline and pins him. Rollins breaks the fall.
Talla clotheslines Rollins out of the ring and clears the announce desk, then looks to chokeslam him through it. Evans flies looking to take out Talla, but Talla sees him coming and sends him crashing on top of the French announce desk. Rollins delivers a Curb Stomp to Talla to send him crashing onto the French announce desk face first and lands a second Curb Stomp on him off the barricade, but Saints is waiting with a Revolution DDT for him in the ring. Rollins catches Saints with a Curb Stomp and pins him, but Austin Theory appears to pull the referee out of the ring to stop the count.
Montez Ford runs out and brawls with Theory through the crowd, but Bron Breakker appears and spears Rollins. Saints looks to pin Rollins, but Evans catches Saints with an OG Cutter and pins him for the win.
