Mark Briscoe has been seeking out a shot at MJF's AEW World Championship over the last couple of weeks, but MJF has refused to give him such. Not only will MJF and Briscoe be revealing who they've selected for their Forbidden Door teams, but they will also be taking part in a Twelve Man Tag Team Match with ten other competitors who have yet to be revealed.
Additionally, Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay will be meeting with one another before they square off against one another in the finals of the 2026 Men's Owen Hart Foundation Cup Tournament at Forbidden Door. The winner of the June 28 pay-per-view match will receive a shot at the AEW World Championship at AEW All In on August 30.
We are live! We immediately head backstage, where Lexy Nair stands by with MJF as he's flanked by The Don Callis Family. MJF voices the bright future that he thinks Kevin Knight has ahead of him, then calls out 2026 Men's Owen Hart Foundation Cup Tournament finalists Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay. He also calls out Kenny Omega and brags about beating him twice, and Don Callis reveals that Kevin Knight, Kyle Fletcher, Jake Doyle, Kazuchika Okada, and Andrade El Idolo will be joining MJF at Forbidden Door in the Twelve Man Steel Cage Match. Andrade is taken aback by the revelation he's joining MJF, but Callis reassures Andrade that he's a future AEW World Champion before demanding that he take part in the Forbidden Door Steel Cage Match.

The Young Bucks and Jack Perry run out to the entrance ramp to back up Omega, and Omega tells Sabre Jr. that he didn't think he would come all this way to challenge him to a match at Forbidden Door. He says himself and Sabre Jr. have something that the other wants, then says it would look nice for Sabre Jr. to have a win against him on his resume. Adam Copeland and Christian Cage Have A Challenge For The Dogs
The Dogs look to make their way to the ring and light a match backstage next to a hooded figure, but the person turns around to reveal himself as Adam Copeland. Christian Cage creeps out of the shadows and goes after David Finlay and Clark Connors with Copeland. The action spills into the ringside area as Cage and Copeland continue beating down Finlay and Connors, but Finlay and Connors retreat through the crowd.
Cage grabs a microphone and says most people are expecting him to say something unsavory about a family member. He says even he has standards and has never come across another tag team who's named after their mothers. Copeland adds that The Dogs have been on a winning streak in June beating The Gunn brothers and The Young Bucks, then says The Dogs are himself and Cage from thirty years ago. He says himself and Cage get that they're trying to make their names, but they're also the learning curves for The Dogs and recalls going up against The New Age Outlaws and the APA with Cage in their younger years. He says himself and Cage will use some of their old man strength, knowledge, and grumpiness to make sure that The Dogs will walk out of their house as broken little puppies.
We then head backstage, where Jon Moxley (flanked by Daniel Garcia and Marina Shafir) offers Bandido (flanked by Brody King) a shot at his AEW Continental Championship as Lexy Nair stands by.

Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay Meet With One Another
Tony Schiavone introduces Ospreay, and he makes his way to the ring. Schiavone congratulates Ospreay on marrying Alex Windsor this past weekend, and Ospreay says while he's meant to be on a honeymoon, his new wife told him that she knows how much the Men's Owen Hart Foundation Cup Tournament and professional wrestling means to him and encouraged him to appear tonight.
Strickland and Prince Nana make their way out, and Strickland says Ospreay has changed. Ospreay says he's dressed the same and says what's changed is the way that Strickland is looking at him. He asks Strickland if they need to have a chat about something, and Strickland says he does have a problem.
Strickland recalls fighting The Death Riders a year ago with Ospreay, but Ospreay is now training with The Death Riders and says Ospreay never explained why he chose to do so. He says Ospreay has changed for that reason, and Ospreay says he hasn't forgotten what The Death Riders did to him nor has he forgiven them. He says he had to let it go and accepted help, then says the training has been working as is evident in the way his neck feels and his great ground game.
Ospreay says he saw Kenny Omega, The Opps, and Darby Allin try and get into the Lights Out Steel Cage Match at last year's Forbidden Door event, but Strickland was nowhere to be found because he had an injured knee that needed surgery. He says when he asked Strickland for help taking out The Death Riders, Strickland said nothing and he ended up in a hospital the night he ended up going after The Death Riders alone. He says he expected Strickland to run through a brick wall for him because he would do the same for him, then asks Strickland where he was.
Ospreay swats the microphone out of Strickland's hand before he can answer and says Forbidden Door is bigger than any explanation Strickland could give him. He says he used to work on building sights right outside Wembley Stadium and recalls watching excited fans go into the building, then says he's one match away from getting the chance to kick the ball at Wembley Stadium.
Ospreay says he won't hesitate to end Strickland, but Strickland tells Ospreay that he'll end him first and says he had to stand in the ring last year telling him that it was "Hangman" Adam Page's time to be AEW World Champion. He asks where Page is now and says Ospreay can't seem to get in touch with him. He says he hasn't been able to talk to Page, then says everything they did off Ospreay's word was for nothing. He says he made a career destructing plans and it's what he's good at, then says Ospreay is good at that too and says they change the conversation every time they step into the ring together. He says himself and Ospreay raise the bar, but the one thing that seems to be certain over and over again is that he'll be victorious over Ospreay. He says he'll always beat Osperay and says the current iteration of Ospreay isn't better than him on his best day with his fragile neck.
Ospreay decks Strickland and sends him crashing into the mat, but Nana hands Strickland a chain.
The Death Riders' music hits, and Jon Moxley, Daniel Garcia, PAC, Wheeler Yuta, and Marina Shafir march out and surround the ring. Strickland tells Ospreay that he really has changed and exits the ring.
We then head backstage, where Ospreay gets into Daniel Garcia's face about interfering in his business. Moxley tells Ospreay to be patient and stay focused.
MJF and The Don Callis then make his way to the ring. Mark Briscoe, Roderick Strong, Kyle O'Reilly, and Orange Cassidy appear on the jumbo screen to reveal three of the members of his Forbidden Door team. Briscoe says that Tomohiro Ishii will be avenged after Kyle Fletcher and Kazuchika Okada took him out, then introduces the final two members of his Forbidden Door team: Konosuke Takeshita and Darby Allin. Al six men then make their way to the ring. Excalibur has also explained that if the match ends in a disqualification, then the team who's at fault for the disqualification will lose a man on their team at Forbidden door.

He rains down right hands on Andrade in the corner, then tags out to Strong. Strong follows suit, but Cassidy tags in and rips off Andrade's pants for him to reveal his yellow trunks.
Fletcher and O'Reilly tag in, and Fletcher flexes his biceps on the ropes to show off. O'Reilly trips Fletcher, but Fletcher levels O'Reilly and gets in Allin's face on the ring apron. O'Reilly fires off kicks on Fletcher's thigh and cinches in an Ankle Lock on him, but everyone gets in the ring and begins brawling with one another.
Takeshita flies out of the ring to take out several of his opponents, but Knight delivers a kick to Allin's spine and fires off stomps on him. Fletcher fires off stomps on Allin, but Knight pulls Fletcher off Allin wanting to beat him down himself. Knight and Fletcher begin to argue with each other, but MJF calls to be tagged in and Fletcher obliges. MJF then stomps on Allin's ankle and takes a celebratory lap around the ring.
Back from the break, Fletcher hands Cassidy's arm over to Doyle for him to wear it down as the referee is distracted by Cassidy. Strong tags in and delivers backbreakers to Knight and Fletcher, then sends Okada crashing into the mat chest first and tags out to Cassidy.
Strong uses Cassidy to whip into Fletcher and Knight in opposite corners. Doyle fires off a few strikes on Strong, then rocks O'Reilly with a forearm. O'Reilly takes out Doyle, but Andrade levels O'Reilly with an elbow. Allin fires off right hands on Andrade and runs the ropes, but Knight trips him from the outside and Andrade takes down Allin. Cassidy delivers a Tornado DDT on Andrade, but Okada delivers a Tombstone to Cassidy. Takeshita rocks Okada with a boot as Okada sets up for the Rain Maker, but Fletcher clocks Takeshita from behind and holds him in place for Okada.
Takeshita rocks Fletcher with a right hand, but Fletcher rocks Takeshita with a kick. Takeshita responds with a Blue Thunder Bomb to Fletcher, but MJF and Briscoe get in the ring and stare one another down. Briscoe levels Knight with a right hand when Knight joins the two men in the ring, then sets up for a J-Driller on him.
Knight comes to MJF's aid, but Allin goes straight after Knight. Allin chases Knight through the crowd and back onto the top of the entrance ramp, then chokes out Knight. Doyle comes to Knight's aid and holds Allin in place for Knight to fire off right hands on Allin. Doyle sends Allin crashing off the entrance ramp and into the ring post.
Inside the ring, MJF calls for a Heat Seeker on Briscoe. Briscoe escapes and delivers a J-Driller to MJF, then goes for a pin. Don Callis distracts the referee, causing the referee to miss the pinfall. Briscoe then ascends to the top rope, but Fletcher trips him up.
Strong tags in and sends MJF crashing into the mat face first, but MJF cinches in the Salt of the Earth armbar on Strong. Strong quickly taps out.
Winners: MJF, Kevin Knight, Kyle Fletcher, Jake Doyle, Kazuchika Okada, and Andrade El Idolo
After the match, The Don Callis Family and MJF continue to beat down The Conglomeration, Takeshita, and Allin. Andrade notably doesn't participate in the beatdown and tries to stop MJF from going after Briscoe in the corner. He gets in MJF's face, but MJF shoves him. Don Callis intervenes, and Andrade decides to hold Briscoe in place for MJF to land a strike on him using his "Dynamite" Diamond Ring moments before the show goes off the air with The Don Callis Family and MJF standing tall.
