The highly anticipated match to determine the Women's Owen Cup finals takes place tonight when Maya World faces her mentor and ROH Women's World Champion, Athena. The winner will face Mercedes Moné at Forbidden Door.
Qualifying matches for the inaugural Survival of the Fittest match to crown a TBS Champion are ongoing. Tonight, Kris Statlander will face Mina Shirakawa with the winner advancing to the title match.
On "Dynamite", Zack Sabre, Jr. Bad Dude Tito, and Mickey Nicholls showed up to confront ZSJ's Forbidden Door opponent, Kenny Omega. The Bucks and Jack Perry came out to make sure things didn't escalate. ZSJ will face Adam Priest tonight. The Bucks and Perry will take on Lethal Twist.
Ahead of his match at Forbidden Door match against Shota Umino, PAC will be in action.
The Hurt Syndicate last competed in Anarchy in the Arena on the winning team. Tonight, they'll be in action.
Mistico returns to AEW to face Dante Martin.
After asking for "serious" Jericho, he'll be face-to-face with Tommaso Ciampa tonight.
Young Bucks & Jack Perry vs. Lethal Twist
The Bucks and Perry come to the ring first. Lethal Twist follows. Blake tore a Bucks Buck in half on his way to the ring.
Nick and Blake start us off. Blake attacked him immediately. Young Bucks double team him and Lee. Perry with a step up tijares on Lethal. The Bucks send Lee and Blake into each other. Matt sent Blake into the corner where he got kicked in the head. Perry tagged in and did a tope suicida on Lee and then Blake. Lethal blocked him. He jumped into a boot from Blake. Matt and Nick dive on The Swirl. The tee off on Blake in the corner and then land triple Superkicks. Perry covers him for 2 and grabs Rick Knox's hand and helps him count.
Blake sent Perry into the ropes and Lethal hit him in the back. He sent Matt into the ringpost while Blake put Perry in the Tree of Woe. Blake takes on everyone. Lethal with a tope on Matt. Blake with a moonsault on Nick.
After the break, Lethal put Perry in the Figure Four while The Swirl posed on him. Perry fights out of the corner and landed a headscissors on Lee from the turnbuckle to the outside. Perry turned Lethal inside out. Matt cleans house. He takes down The Swirl with lariats. The Bucks double team The Swirl. Matt lands triple Northern Lights. The Bucks landed the MMM-Bop Drop on Blake. Nick takes down Lethal and Lee while yelling "lucha libre!" The Swirl battle the Bucks on the corners, but the Bucks landed stereo Buckle Bombs and then turn them into Sharpshooters while Perry puts Lethal in Snare Trap. Blake got to the ropes as the legal man.
Perry tagged in and exchanged blows with Lethal. Lethal hit the Lethal Combination. He looks for Lethal Injection, but Nick pushes Perry away and grabs Lethal by the waist. Lethal reversed it, but the Bucks took him down. The Bucks punched The Swirl and The Swirl landed front face bulldogs. Lethal connected with double Lethal Injections on the Bucks. Perry landed a thrust kick on Blake. Lee landed one on Perry. Lee has Perry on his shoulders and Blake stomped on Perry from the top rope and Lethal followed with a flying elbow, but Perry kicks out.
Perry fights off Lethal Twist. He chopped Lethal and as he ran the ropes, Nick made a blind tag. Lethal sent Perry over the ropes and onto the ramp. The Bucks land double Superkicks. The Swirl landed Superkicks on Nick. From the ramp, the Bucks kick The Swirl so they were laid across the ropes. They helped Perry land a knee strike. The Bucks land stereo Superkicks on The Swirl. Perry landed a double poisonranas on them. Perry landed a moonsault to the outside on Lethal and Blake. The Bucks landed the Meltzer Driver on Lee for the win.

Mina Shirakawa vs. Kris Statlander - Survival of the Fittest qualifying match
Harley Cameron joins commentary. Shirakawa comes to the ring first. Statlander follows.
Mina put her in a sideheadlock, bounced off the ropes, and took her to the mat. Stat rolled her up for one. Mina locks in the sideheadlock again. They attack each other in the corner. Mina landed a front face bulldog. Mina pulled her neck over the top rope and followed with a tornillo. Stat rolled to the outside and Mina went up top, but Stat punched her and threw her down on the apron.
After the break, Mina takes down Stat and follows with a rolling elbow. She landed a DDT and covered her for two. They exchange strikes. Stat took her down with a discus lariat. Mina sends a charging Stat over the ropes and landed a crossbody. Mina put her in the ring and went up top again and landed a missile dropkick that turned her inside out. Stat blocked the Glorious Driver. Stat landed a thrust kick and a Blue Thunder Bomb, but Mina kicked out. Stat followed with Saturday Night Fever, but Mina escaped and hit her with a back fist. Stat blocked the Glorious Driver again. Mina landed La Mistica and rolled up Stat, but Stat rolled through to roll her up for the win.

Hurt Syndicate vs. Warren Johnson & Zack Mason
The Hurt Syndicate comes to the ring, accompanied by MVP. Their opponents are in the ring.
Johnson and Lashley start us off. Lashley offered his hand and it's slapped away. Johnson backed up to the ropes and Mason made a blind tag. While Lashley was distracted with Johnson, Mason hit him in the back with a double axhandle. Lashley sent Mason to the mat. Mason and Johnson pummel Lashley in the corner. Benjamin got down and as Mason and Johnson bounced off the ropes, he tripped Mason. Lashley chokeslammed Johnson. He tagged in Benjamin.
Benjamin slams Johnson back and forth between the apron and the barricade. Benjamin tossed him in the ring and suplexed him. He landed a running knee in the corner and a thrust kick on Mason. Lashley speared Johnson and Benjamin dragged him to the center of the ring to pin him.
Winner: Hurt Syndicate
After the match, MVP said the fans just witnessed a commercial of the things they can do. "We are Merchants of Misery. We are Purveyors of Pain." They aren't interested in titles, but money. They are businessmen in the "business of Hurt." "You bring the money, we bring the pain."
Tommaso Ciampa and Jericho meet face-to-face
Nigel welcomes Ciampa to the ring. He brings out Jericho next.
Jericho says he thinks Ciampa was worthy. He's been waiting to face him since he came to AEW and knows how smart he is. He asks if Ciampa is smart. "Each and every version of Jericho is going to kick your a**!" Ciampa says this is the Jerico he's wanted from the beginning. He challenged him for July 8 at Clearwater, Florida at Beach Break. He told him to invite his friends and family to find out if Jericho is who he says he is or if Ciampa is better than him. Jericho accepted and said "tonight, we fight!" and punched Ciampa. He went for Walls of Jericho, but Ciampa escaped. He lowblowed Jericho with the leg and sent Jericho into the barricade and steel steps. He slammed his head into the steps repeatedly. Ciampa punched him several times and bit his forehead. Ciampa put a bloody Jericho in the ring and landed a running knee. He kissed him on the cheek and stood on the middle rope. He pulled him by his hair and yelled in his face, "on July 8th, we find out who's better."
Dante Martin vs. Mistico
Martin comes to the ring, accompanied by Christopher Daniels. Mistico follows.
Mistico offered his hand and they shook. Marin put him in a side headlock and Mistico punched him in the gut and did the same. Mistico worked his arm and Martin did the same. They dodge each other and Mistico landed a crossbody. Martin landed two tope suicidas. Martin put him back in the ring. Mistico kicked him off the apron and landed a tope. He put him back in the ring and then went up top. Marin pulled him down and covered him. Mistico clutched his leg.
After the match, Mistico bounced off the ropes and took down Martin. He followed with an enzuiguri and crossbody. He landed a headscissors. Martin went outside and Mistico landed a tornillo. Back in the ring, Mistico went for a cover.
Mistico stomped his fingers before they exchanged blows. Mistico called for a time out and pointed up so he landed a roundhouse kick to the gut and hit him in the chest. Martin landed a forearm in the corner. Mistico did the same. They both went for a dropkick and took each other down.
Martin sent him to the apron and Mistico landed an enzuirguri. He dragged him to the corner and went up top, but Martin got the legs up and then rolled him up for two. Martin chopped him against the ropes. Mistico landed a powerslam. Mistico went up top again, but Martin rolled out of the way. He went for a package piledriver and then hit a powerbomb instead. Martin went up top, but Mistico kicked him with a gamen giri and landed a Spanish Fly for the win.
Winner: Mistico
PAC vs. Jay Alexander
PAC comes to the ring, accompanied by Marina and Mox. His opponent is waiting. Mox joined commentary.
They locked up and Alexander backed PAc up, but PAC backed him to the corner. He put him in a side headlock. PAC tried to shoulder tackle him. Alexander leap frogged him. Alexander hit him with a back elbow. PAC took him down with a lariat. Marina landed a big boot on Alexander on the outside. PAC put him in the ring and kicked him in the gut repeatedly. He took him down with an enzuiguri. He followed with a running boot in the corner. PAC connected with a shotgun dropkick from the top. He followed with a lariat into The Brutalizer.
Winner: PAC
Zack Sabre, Jr. vs. Adam Priest
Priest comes to the ring first. ZSJ follows.
They dodge each other and then lock up. ZSJ worked his arm. ZSJ kicked him and worked his arm. Priest worked his. ZSJ took him to the mat. Priest took him down. ZSJ with a headscissor counter. Priest bent him back to the mat. ZSJ pulled his arm down and snapped him between his feet. Priest put him in a side headlock. ZSJ pushed him in the face three times. Priest chopped him and uppercut him. He suplexed him and raked his shoulder. ZSJ targeted the left arm. He stomped on it after bending it backwards.
ZSJ puled him out of the corner and Priest chopped him three times and sent him to the mat. ZSJ rolled to the apron. ZSJ put him in a triangle hold over the top rope.
After the break, they ran at each other and sent each other down to the mat. Priest charged at him, but ZSJ got a leg up. Priest grabbed it and chopped his chest. ZSJ uppercut. Priest spiked him and covered him for two. Priest twisted his leg, slapped his back, and rammed his knee into the mat repeatedly. Priest twisted his foot, but ZSJ got up and back elbowed him. He focused on the left arm again and wrenched it with his feet. ZSJ kicked him in the chest and back. Priest forearmed him. They exchanged blows and ZSJ went back to the arm. Priest chopped his knee twice and went for a half crab, but ZSJ kicked him off. ZSJ put him in a submission and wrenched his arms until he verbally quit.

Athena vs. Maya World - Owen Hart Cup Foundation tournament semifinals
Athena comes to the ring first. World follows.
Athena backed her to the corner and swiped her legs and patted her head. World attempted a suplex. Athena put her in a side headlock. She followed with a cazadora takedown and a shoulder tackle. World covered her for two. World rolled over her back and rolled her up. She took her around the world. Athena put her in body scissors to take her around the world. They both went for dropkicks. Athena took her down. World sent her face first into the turnbuckle and landed a Tiger Faint Kick. World landed a hip toss and cartwheeled and dropkicked her. They went to the apron and battle. World picked her up, but she got down. World with a forearm, sending her off the apron. World landed a cannonball and World rolled through and planted her.
After the break, World superplexed her off the apron. She followed with two uppercuts. World with a headscissors takedown and roll up. World went up top and landed a moonsault for a two count. Athena held the ropes to block a hammerthrow. She rolled up World for one. World with a sunset flip. Athena powerbombed World. Athena picked her up, but World landed a cutter out of nowhere. Athena tripped her and Curb Stomped her and covered her for two. Athena went up top, but jumped down. World with two bridging suplexes.
Athena rolled out and World ran at her, but Athena caught her leg. World threw her into the barricade. Both women stand on the barricade. Athena slammed World onto the barricade. Athena got back in the ring and the ref started the count. Athena pulled her into the ring and slapped her. She pushed her face and told her to get up. Athena told her to for it for her brother. World laid in multiple punches. Athena suplexed her and followed with a cartwheel and a haymaker. She landed the O Face, but World kicked out at two.
World rolled her up for two. Athena with two thrust kicks. Athena said I love you and charged at her, but World rolled up for the win.
Winner: Maya World
They embraced after the match. Mercedes Moné came to the ring. She clapped at World and hugged her. Athena clapped from the ropes. Athena charged at World and hit her in the face. She and Moné beat World down. Moné put her in the Statement Maker while Athena laid next her.
