Marina Shafir of The Death Riders will be colliding with Harley Cameron, while Ring of Honour Women's World Television Champion Red Velvet will be squaring off against Queen Aminata in a pair of qualifier matches. As of writing, Hikaru Shida, CMLL World Women's Champion Persephone, and Kris Statlander have all qualified for the July 1 match, defeating Zayda Steel, Triangle of Madness; Julia Hart, and Mina Shirakawa respectively across the June 13 and June 20 episodes of "AEW Collision" to secure their spots.

Mark Briscoe, Darby Allin, International Champion Konosuke Takeshita, and The Conglomeration's Orange Cassidy, Kyle O'Reilly, and Roderick Strong will be going head-to-head with AEW World Champion MJF and The Don Callis Family's Kevin Knight, Kazuchika Okada, Jake Doyle, Andrade El Idolo, and Kyle Fletcher in a Twelve Man Steel Cage Match at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door this coming Sunday. Before the two parties meet in the ring, they will both be appearing on tonight's show with something on their minds to share. Takeshita will also be putting his International Championship on the line on AEW programming for the first time since retaining against Daniel Garcia of The Death Riders on the May 30 episode of "AEW Collision" as he defends against The Demand's Ricochet.

Speaking of Garcia, he will be competing in a match of his own as he goes head-to-head with Swerve Strickland ahead of Strickland's 2026 Men's Owen Hart Foundation Cup Tournament finals match at Forbidden Door. Strickland's opponent in Sunday's pay-per-view match, Will Ospreay, will also be in action tonight as he goes one-on-one with New Japan Pro-Wrestling star El Phantasmo.

New Japan Pro-Wrestling star Zack Sabre Jr. will be going one-on-one with Kenny Omega at Sunday's pay-per-view event. Sabre Jr. will surely be looking to gain some momentum heading into the bout with a win when he takes on Omega's Elite stablemate Jack Perry. Sabre Jr.'s The Mighty Don't Kneel stablemates Mikey Nicholls and Bad Dude Tito will also be in action as they face fellow Elite members and Young Bucks tag team partners Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson.

Additionally, Continental Champion Jon Moxley will be joining forces with his Death Riders stablemates Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta to take on Bandido, Brody King, and current multi-champion Mistico before Moxley defends his title against Bandido at Forbidden Door.

Mark Briscoe then makes his way to the ring.

We Hear From Mark Briscoe

Briscoe says Forbidden Door will be twelve men in one cage. He says himself and his friends are looking to have some fun and says his Forbidden Door team has a bit of a reputation for hardcore matches including The Conglomeration taking part in the 2026 Blood & Guts match. He says Blood & Guts was for fun, but Forbidden Door is a bit more consequential with a potential AEW World Championship match hanging in the balance for him should his team win on Sunday. He admits that he agrees with MJF on the two of them being nothing alike, and says he's thankful he's nothing like MJF. He calls MJF privileged, entitled, and soft, then says if he wants something, he earns it.

Briscoe says MJF doesn't believe he's AEW World Championship material, and while MJF can have his opinions, he reminds MJF that he beat them in their last match. He says he'll be walking into Forbidden Door with his brothers, but MJF will be walking in with The Don Callis Family. He says there's some talented people in The Don Callis Family, but tells MJF that the stable doesn't care about him and says they wouldn't even help MJF if he was on fire.

Don Callis appears on the entrance ramp and asks Briscoe if he's crazy. MJF sneaks up from behind Briscoe and clocks him, then rains down right hands on him. Briscoe responds with some right hands of his own to MJF and sets up for the J-Driller, but Kyle Fletcher runs out to the ring and lands a suplex on Briscoe. He follows it up with a Brainbuster, but Konosuke Takeshita reemerges to take out Fletcher with a Raging Fire.

Kazuchika Okada levels Takeshita with a Rain Maker, but Kyle O'Reilly trips Okada and cinches in an Ankle Lock on him. Kevin Knight lands a lariat on O'Reilly off the top rope to level him, but Darby Allin delivers a Scorpion Death Drop to Knight. He sets up for the Coffin Drop, but Jake Doyle catches him and sends him crashing into the mat with a slam. Roderick Strong fires off chops on Doyle, but Orange Cassidy delivers a pair of Orange Punches to Doyle. Strong lands an Angle Slam on Doyle, but MJF low blows Cassidy. Briscoe sets up for a J-Driller on MJF, but Andrade El Idolo runs out to the ring to take out Briscoe and come to MJF's aid.

Andrade holds Briscoe in place for MJF to hit Briscoe with the "Dynamite" Diamond Ring. Briscoe moves out of the way in time for MJF to hit Andrade with the "Dynamite" Diamond Ring, and Briscoe then delivers a J-Driller to MJF. Briscoe spots the AEW World Championship belt and holds it up, standing tall in the ring with his Twelve Man Steel Cage Forbidden Door team as the show goes off the air.
