MJF will be putting his AEW World Championship on the line as he defends against AEW EVP Kenny Omega. Moments after MJF retained his AEW World Championship against Mark Briscoe in the opening contest of last Wednesday's edition of "Dynamite", Omega confronted him to challenge him to an AEW World Championship match. MJF agreed on the condition that Omega would never challenge for the title ever again if he lost tonight's match, and Omega accepted MJF's condition in the closing moments of Wednesday's show.

Konosuke Takeshita will be putting the International Championship on the line for the first time since retaining against the aforementioned Ricochet on the June 24 episode of "Dynamite" as he defends against The Don Callis Family's Kyle Fletcher. While the two men are former tag team partners, the relationship between them soured a number of weeks ago when Takeshita was kicked out of The Don Callis Family.

Thekla will be finding out who will be challenging her for the AEW Women's World Championship at AEW Redemption on July 26, as a Women's Casino Gauntlet Match is set to be held tonight. Ring of Honor Women's World Champion Athena and 2026 Women's Owen Hart Foundation Cup Tournament finalist Maya World will be entering at numbers one and two respectively, having defeated World Wonder Ring Stardom star Rina and Triangle of Madness' Julia Hart during this past Thursday's episode of "AEW Collision" to secure their spots.

Jericho will be competing in his first match on "Dynamite" since emerging victorious against Ricochet on the May 27 episode of the show as he collides with Tommaso Ciampa. Tensions between the two men have been on the rise over the past few weeks , with Jericho forcing Tony Schiavone to admit that he was better than Ciampa on the June 27 episode of "Collision" in order to release the Walls of Jericho he has cinched in on JD Drake and a backstage brawl breaking out between the two men last Wednesday that spilled out into the parking lot of the Viejas Arena.

We are live! Renee Paquette catches up with Kenny Omega backstage ahead of his high stakes AEW World Championship match later tonight as Michael Nakazawa stands by. Omega tells MJF that he's ready this time around and it won't go like it did at AEW Dynasty.

Excalibur, Tony Schiavone, and Taz greet audiences at home as Tommaso Ciampa makes his way out.

Ciampa waits for Jericho on the top of the entrance ramp, but Jericho turns the tables and sneaks up behind Ciampa from the crowd. He sends Ciampa crashing into a couple of adirondack chairs and suplexes him on top of them, then fires off chops on Ciampa's chest.

Jericho and Ciampa end up in the ringside area, and Jericho flies off the ropes to level Ciampa on the outside. He dumps Ciampa back inside the ring, but Ciampa lands a DDT on Jericho through the middle rope and delivers a knee strike to him on the ring apron through the middle rope. He fires off a chop on Ciampa, then sends him crashing into the ring steps spine first and drags Ciampa up them. Ciampa sends Jericho crashing into the ring post face first and sends Jericho crashing into the ring post face first.

Back from the break, Jericho sits Ciampa on the top rope and rains down right hands on him. Ciampa catches Jericho with an Air Raid Crash off the middle rope and pins him, but Jericho kicks out and Ciampa looks to cinch in the Walls of Jericho on him.

Jericho and Ciampa teeter on the ropes, but Jericho delivers a reverse hurricanrana to Ciampa and follows it up with a vertical suplex to him. The two men exchange chops with one another, but Ciampa grabs a bucket of sand and throws it into Jericho's eyes as Jericho delivers a codebreaker to Ciampa.

Jericho connects with a Bulldog on Ciampa and sets up for a Lionsault. Ciampa moves out of the way and delivers a pair of jumping knee strikes on Jericho, then goes for a pin but Jericho kicks out. Ciampa sets up for another jumping knee on Jericho, but Jericho sees him coming and cinches in the Walls of Jericho on Ciampa. Ciampa grabs the bucket of sand, but the referee takes it from him and disposes of it out of the ring. This opens the door for Ciampa to throw a handful of sand into Jericho's eyes and land another jumping knee strike on him for the win.

Winner: Tommaso Ciampa

After the match, Ciampa grabs a chair and hits Jericjo with it. He grabs a tool bag from under the ring and finds a drill in it, then looks to use it on Jericho. Security and officials stop Ciampa from using the drill, but Ciampa sticks the drill into a pool inflatable as he heads up the entrance ramp.

We then head over to a video and see Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor beating down men near a concession stand that has "The Brawling Birds" written on it.

We then head outside backstage and see MJF get into a verbal confrontation with Will Ospreay as Renee Paquette stands by. MJF spits in Ospreay's face, but Ospreay lands a boot on MJF's midsection. Security runs over to keep the two men apart.

Back at ringside, Kyle Fletcher, Lance Archer, and Don Callis then make their way out. Konoskue Takeshita follows. 

The bell rings and the two lock up. Takeshita sends Fletcher crashing into the mat spine first, but Fletcher lands a kick on Takeshita off the ring apron. Takeshita responds with a forearm to Fletcher on the outside and gets in Callis' face at the commentary desk, then looks to land a strike on him. Fletcher ducks out of the way to send Takeshita's right arm crashing into the ring post, then begins to target it and sends Takeshita crashing into the ring apron right arm first.

Fletcher rains down right hands and left hands on Takeshita back inside the ring, then continues to wear down Takeshita's right arm. Takeshita intercepts Fletcher with an Exploder and flies over the top rope with a tope con hilo to take out Fletcher on the outside.

Back from the break, Takeshita delivers a Blue Thunder Bomb on Fletcher and the two men land on the ring apron. Takeshita lands a piledriver on Fletcher and follows it up with a German suplex to him, then dumps him back in the ring and charges at Fletcher. Fletcher sees Takeshita coming, but Takeshita lands a reverse hurricanana on Fletcher. Fletcher responds by sending Takeshita crashing into the mat.

Takeshita ascends to the top rope, but Fletcher joins him up there. Takeshita fights him off and delivers a powerbomb to Fletcher, but Don Callis distracts Takeshita. This opens the door for Fletcher to blindside Takeshita with a kick, but Takeshita manages to land Raging Fire on Fletcher. He goes for a pin, but Fletcher gets his foot on the bottom rope to break the hold.

Fletcher rolls up Takeshita, but Takeshita kicks out and Fletcher lands a kick on Takeshita's injured right arm. He follows it up with a Brainbuster and goes for a pin, but Takeshita kicks out. Fletcher delivers a Brainbuster to Takeshita on the top turnbuckle and pins him for the win.

Winner (and new): Kyle Fletcher

After the match, The Don Callis Family joins Fletcher in the ring to celebrate his title win as The Conglomeration checks on the injured Takeshita.

Mick Foley then makes his way to the ring, joining Callis, Fletcher, Mark Davis, Jake Doyle, Brian Cage, and Archer in the ring. Foley says this moment isn't about him but about Fletcher becoming the new International Championship, then asks Fletcher to take him inside his head about the match he just had with Takeshita.

Fletcher says Takeshita was never his friend because he was always #1 in their Protoshita tag team while Takeshita rode his coattails. Callis cuts off Foley and says this is about The Don Callis Family rather than Foley, but Foley says he wants to talk to Callis about credibility. He says he meant it when he said Fletcher just had one of the best matches he's ever seen against Takeshita, and Foley points out his deceased dog Randall and alive dog Woofle on his shoes. He says instead of feeling sad about Randall, he walks around with him and chooses to keep him with him.

Callis calls Kevin Knight to the ring, and Knight makes his way out. Knight welcomes Fletcher to the club of having gold in The Don Callis Family and says it took Fletcher long enough, then says he's owed an AEW World Championship match and says he'll be watching the AEW World Championship.

Andrade El Idolo's music hits and he makes his way out as Fletcher stares down Knight. Andrade says he was the best of The Don Callis Family and says Callis promised him the AEW World Championship, but he'll take one championship from Callis. Callis says he had to endure months of Andrade being obsessed with the AEW World Championship, then says if Andrade can beat Doyle next week, he can challenge Davis for the International Championship.

Doyle, Cage, Knight, Archer, and Davis chase Andrade to the back, but Darby Allin sneaks up behind Knight, Doyle, and Cage. The Don Callis Family outnumbers Allin quickly and Cage grabs Allin's skateboard, but the skateboard explodes in Cage's face when Andrade triggers the explosion. All five men then continue brawling backstage.

The Death Riders then make their way to the ring. The Workhorsemen are already waiting inside.

Anthony Hendry and Moxley begin the action. The bell rings and Henry wears down Moxley's left arm. Moxley delivers a couple of chops to Henry, but JD Drake tags in and levels Moxley with a chop. Moxley fires off chops and right hands on Drake, but Henry tags in and double teams on Moxley with Drake.

Back from the break, Moxley delivers a dive through the middle rope to take out Drake on the outside. He dumps Drake back in the ring and rains down right hands on him in the corner, then catches an interfering Henry with a neckbreaker.

Drake charges at Moxley, but Ospreay comes to Moxley's aid and delivers a Styles Clash to Drake as Moxley connects with a piledriver on Henry. Moxley then delivers a Paradigm Shift to Drake and Ospreay follows it up with a Hidden Blade before Moxley pins Drake for the win.

Winners: Will Ospreay and Jon Moxley  

Athena and Maya World then make their way to the ring, with Thekla taking a seat at the announce desk and 2026 Women's Owen Hart Foundation Cup Tournament winner Mercedes Mone watching the upcoming action from a giant lifeguard tower at the top of the entrance ramp.

The bell rings and World looks to land a shotgun dropkick on Athena. Athena moves out of the way and looks to land a running senton on World, but World moves out of the way. World and Athena then exchange right hands with one another, but Athena levels World with a jumping knee strike.

Skye Blue enters at number three with a kendo stick in hand and cracks it across World's spine. Athena dumps Blue out of the ring, but Blue pulls Athena out to join her. Athena then sends Blue crashing into the ring steps.

Back from the break, Mina Shirakawa is entrant number four. She lands a neckbreaker on Blue, but Athena and Shirakawa level World and Blue. World whips Shirakawa into the corner, but Shirakawa sends World's arm crashing off the top rope.

Entrant five is Rina, and she exchanges right hands with Shirakawa. Athena pins Rina, but Rina kicks out and pins World. World kicks out as Julia Hart enters at number six. Hart cracks a garbage can lid across Rina, Shirakawa, and World's head, then uses it to land a kick on Athena and slides a pair of chairs into the ring with Blue. Hart and Blue then take out security guards on the outside.

Back from another break, Thunder Rosa enters at number seven and she catches Blue with a stunner. She lands one on Hart and a neckbreaker on Athena, then places a chair on Blue's chest and lands a dropkick on her using the chair. Rosa delivers a backbreaker to Rina and pins her, but Rina kicks out. Athena then catches Shirakawa with an O-Face off the top rope and pins her, but several other women break the fall.

Willow Nightingale enters at number eight to make her return from injury, and she delivers a spinebuster to World. Blue and Hart go after Nightingale, but Nightingale levels them both with a double clothesline before she flies off the ring apron to take out several entrants on the outside. Athena looks to surprise Nightingale off the ring apron, but Nightingale catches her and delivers a Death Valley Driver to Athena. She then lands a Doctor Bomb on Hart inside the ring for the win.

Winner: Willow Nightingale

After the match, Thekla blindsides Nightingale with a spear as Megan Bayne and Lena Kross deliver bodyslams to Blue and Hart on the entrance ramp. Thekla grabs her AEW Women's Championship belt and looks to hit Nightingale with it, but Mone takes out Thekla and hits Nightingale with her Women's Owen Hart Foundation Cup Tournament Championship belt.

We then head over to a video of Jurassic Express, where Jack Perry reveals he's resigned with AEW. 

Back at ringside, Kenny Omega makes his way out. MJF follows. 

The bell rings and the two men exchange right hands with one another. Omega lands a German suplex on MJF and sets up for a One Winged Angel, but MJF sends himself and Omega crashing out of the ring over the top rope. MJF escapes through the crowd, but Omega follows him and the pair brawl with one another through the crowd. Omega whips MJF into a pile of the chairs in the crowd, then sends him bouncing off one of the chairs face first.

The two men return to the ring, and MJF rains down right hands on Omega. MJF bites Omega's head, then catches him with a jumping neckbreaker as Omega looks to fly into the ring from the ring apron. Omega sends MJF crashing into the lifeguard tower at the top of the entrance ramp and delivers a moonsault to him off the lifeguard tower.

Omega dumps MJF back inside the ring, then ascends to the top rope and delivers a dropkick to him. Omega lands a tope con hilo on MJF outside of the ring over the top rope and delivers a neckbreaker to him back inside the ring. MJF drop toe holds Omega into the middle rope, but Omega lands a Snap Dragon suplex to MJF.

MJF and Omega level one another, but MJF clears the commentary desk and looks to deliver a piledriver on Omega off the ring apron and through the nearby announce desk. Omega escapes and rocks MJF with a pair of right hands, then sends MJF crashing through the commentary desk.

Back from the break, Omega sets up for a One Winged Angel on MJF on the ring apron. MJF escapes, but Omega looks to land a moonsault on him off one of the barricades. MJF gets his knees up and delivers a piledriver to Omega on a nearby chair that's been set up. He grabs onto his bandaged up left knee, then sets up for the Heatseeker back in the ring.

MJF's left knee gives out, but Omega delivers a German suplex to MJF and follows it up with a V-Trigger to the back of MJF's neck. Omega then sits MJF on the top rope and sets up for a One Winged Angel on him off the middle rope, but MJF counters into a reverse hurricanrana on Omega and connects with a Heatseeker on him. He goes for a pin, but Omega kicks out.

MJF grabs the AEW World Championship belt and gets into the ring, but the referee catches him and disposes of it. As he does so, MJF slides the "Dynamite" Diamond Ring onto his hand. Will Ospreay runs out and steals the "Dynamite" Diamond Ring from MJF, and Omega considers hitting MJF with the AEW World Championship as the referee is distracted by Ospreay. MJF low blows Omega and hits him with the AEW World Championship and goes for a pin, but Omega quickly quicks out at one.

MJF and Omega exchange right hands with one another, but Omega delivers a trio of V-Triggers to MJF. He delivers a One Winged Angel to MJF for the win.
