WWE NXT Results 7/14 - Two Championships On The Line, Triple Threat #1 Contenders Match

Welcome to Wrestling Inc.'s results for "WWE NXT" on July 14, 2026, coming to you live from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida!

After retaining their title against AAA stars El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. and Galeno on the June 30 episode of "NXT", Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes of Vanity Project will be putting their NXT Tag Team Championship on the line once again as they defend against Sean Legacy and Dorian Van Dux. Legacy and Van Dux emerged victorious against Bronco Nima and Lucien Price of OTM, Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo and Uriah Connors of BirthRight, and DarkState's Osiris Griffin and Cutler James in a Fatal Four-Way Number One Contenders Match during last Tuesday's edition of "NXT" to secure their spots in tonight's match.

Zaria was initially set to defend her Women's North American Championship against Layla Diggs after Diggs scored a win against Izzi Dame of The Culling, Thea Hail, and Tatum Paxley in a Fatal Four-Way Number One Contenders Match last Tuesday. However, "NXT" General Manager Robert Stone announced via his X account that Diggs had sustained an injury at a Live Event this past Saturday. With Diggs unable to compete, Zaria will still be putting her NXT North American Championship on the line against an opponent who has yet to be revealed as of writing.

Although Kendal Grey successfully defended her NXT Women's Championship against Nattie last Tuesday, her next challenger will be revealed tonight as Kali Armstrong, Kelani Jordan, and Lola Vice collide with one another in a Triple Threat Number One Contenders Match. Armstrong made it clear that she wanted a shot at the NXT Women's Championship in the opening moments of last Tuesday's show, with Jordan and Vice both confronting her after title shots of their own. This led to a brawl breaking out, with Armstrong being the one to ultimately stand tall when she left Jordan and Vice both laid out with a double shoulder tackle.

Additionally, Naraku will be going head-to-head with Tate Wilder after Wilder had some choice words about a video from Naraku last Tuesday.

We are live! Vic Joseph and Booker T greet audiences at home as Vanity Project makes their way to the ring. Sean Legacy and Dorian Van Dux follow.

Legacy and Smokes begin the action. The bell rings and the two lock up. Legacy levels Smokes with a dropkick, but Baylor tags in. Van Dux tags in on his side, then connects with a dropkick on Baylor. Smokes then tags back in and Van Dux sends him crashing into Baylor in the corner when Baylor tags back in.

Legacy tags in and lands a moonsault on Smokes, then delivers a springboard crossbody to take out himself and Baylor on the outside. Legacy lands a splash on Baylor in the corner during the break, then tags in Van Dux who lands a splash of his own on Baylor. Lockwood hops up onto the apron, allowing Drake to trip Legacy from the outside on the other side of the ring.

Smokes tags in and Baylor delivers a spear to Legacy in the corner. Smokes grabs Legacy's ankle from the apron to allow Baylor to deliver a jumping knee strike to him. Smokes then delivers a dropkick-spinebuster combination to Legacy with Baylor before Van Dux tags in and lands a back body drop on Baylor (who has tagged back in). He takes him down with a hurricanrana and delivers a springboard moonsault to him, then goes for a pin but Baylor kicks out.

Van Dux ascends to the top rope and looks to fly, but Baylor moves out of the way and makes the blind tag to Smokes. Baylor connects with a single legged codebreaker on Van Dux and Smokes spears him, then goes for a pin but Legacy breaks the fall.

Smokes tags in and ascends to the top rope, but Van Dux sends Baylor crashing into Smokes. He lands a superplex on Smokes, then tags in Legacy. Legacy lands a 450 Splash on Smokes, then lands a dive through the middle rope to take out Smokes as Van Dux delivers one of his own to Baylor. Legacy then flies over the top rope, but Drake interferes. Van Dux levels him, but Lockwood low bridges him out of the ring as Van Dux looks to fly.

Baylor sends Legacy crashing into the ring steps and Smokes ascends to the top rope. Baylor and Smokes then deliver a reverse DDT-double stomp to combination for Smokes for the win.

Winners (and still): Vanity Project

We then head backstage and see Saquon Shugars spying on Sean Legacy and Dorian Van Dux arguing in the trainer's room. OTM catches Shugars, and Shugars asks them to tag with him against DarkState. OTM declines to do so and run into BirthRight backstage. 

Back at ringside, Tristan Angels makes his way out. 

Angels says men like Shiloh Hill were created to walk around with dirt under their nails, but he was sent for remorse and pulls out Hill's fake tooth. He says Hill can no longer fool the fans into thinking he's respectable and can see him for who he really is: a creepy hillbilly weirdo who was never fit to stand across from him in the ring.

Angels stomps on Hill's fake tooth using the ring steps, but Hill appears on the Titan Tron and says loosing his tooth in the first place helped his mind. He says he can fix his smile, but says the fog is coming.

We then head backstage, where Lizzy Rain, Izzi Dame, and Nikkita Lyons all make their case to Robert Stone in his office as to why they should take Layla Diggs' spot in the Women's North American Championship match tonight as Nattie, Karmen Petrovic, and Diggs are also present. Nattie shows anger towards Diggs for getting injured, and Stone announces that Zaria will defend her title against Rain, Dame, and Lyons in a Fatal Four-Way Match. 

Back at ringside, Tate Wilder makes his way out. Naraku follows. 

The bell rings and Naraku slaps Wilder. Wilder responds by looking to fly out of the ring, but Naraku catches him with a forearm and dumps him back in the ring. He lands a German suplex and fires off chops on Wilder during the commercial break, then follows it up with another suplex and cinches in a crossface on Wilder.

Wilder fires off right hands on Naraku and sends him crashing into the mat spine first, but Naraku catches him with Enter The Abyss for the win.

Winner: Naraku

After the match, Tony D'Angelo slides into the ring and attacks Naraku from behind. Security and officials run out to pull D'Angelo off Naraku, but D'Angelo takes out a couple of the security guards and one of them gets hit with mist from Naraku.

Nikkita Lyons, Izzi Dame, Lizzy Rain, and Zaria then all make their way to the ring.

The bell rings and Rain sends Zaria crashing out of the ring. Dame rolls up Rain, but Rain kicks out before Lyons slaps Dame and sends her crashing into the mat. Zaria catches Rain with a pop-up headbutt and fires off an uppercut on Dame in the corner, then rocks Lyons with a boot. Rain levels Zaria with a springboard back elbow, but Zaria takes out Lyons with a clothesline.

Zaria brawls with Dame on the outside as Rain sends Lyons crashing into the ring steps on the other side of the ring. Zaria sends Rain crashing into the corner and fires off shoulders on her midsection, then cinches in a submission on her as Lyons locks in a crossface on Dame.

Zaria releases the hold she has locked in on Rain to break the crossface Lyons has in on Dame during the commercial break, but Zaria and Dame exchange right hands on the ring apron as Rain and Lyons do the same on the opposite ring apron. Rain sends Lyons crashing into the ring apron chest first, and Zaria and Dame level one another with clothesline.

Rain lands a double dropkick on Rain and Zaria off the top rope, then delivers a spinebuster to Lyons and catches Dame with a cutter back from the break. She goes for a pin, but Lyons breaks the fall and runs over Zaria with a clothesline. She then delivers a kick to Dame and lands a hurricanrana on Zara to send her crashing into Rain in the corner.

Dame catches Rain with a backstabber and delivers a chokeslam to her, then goes for a pin but Zaria breaks the fall. Zaria and Dame then exchange right hands with one another, but Zaria takes out Lyons and flies off the ropes to take out Rain. Zaria then delivers a spear to Dame and pins her, but Dame kicks out.

Nattie and Karmen Petrovic storm out to ringside, allowing Lyons to level Zaria with a kick. Rain looks to land a dropkick on Dame through the bottom rope, but Dame side steps Rain to send her crashing into the announce desk. Nattie and Petrovic beat down Zaria on the outside as the referee is distracted on the other side of the ring, but Jaida Parker runs out and brawls to the back with Nattie. Inside the ring, Zaria delivers a spear and an F5 to Lyons for the win.

Winner (and still): Zaria

Vanity Project then make their way out to the ring. 

Back from the break, we head over to Robert Stone's office as D'Angelo yells at Stone. Stone makes an NXT Championship match official between D'Angelo and Naraku for next week, but D'Angelo storms off and Stone follows wanting to know what he's planning on doing to Naraku. 

Back at ringside, Tavion Heights makes his way down. 

The bell rings and Heights lands a pair of mat returns on Drake. He cinches in a side headlock on Drake, but Drake escapes and sends Heights crashing into the corner spine first. Heights connects with a German suplex on Drake, but Drake runs over Heights with a big boot and Heights responds by sending Drake crashing out of the ring.

During the commercial break, Heights cinches in a Bear Hug on Drake. Drake escapes before he lands a cutter on Heights and pins him back from the break. Heights kicks out, but Drake cinches in a submission hold on Heights. Heights escapes, but Drake cinches in a Figure Four Leg Lock on him.

Heights reverses the Figure Four Leg Lock on Drake, but Drake grabs onto the bottom rope to break the hold. Heights then catches Drake with an Airplane Spin and sends him over the top rope onto Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes with a belly-to-belly throw. He dumps Drake back in the ring and clocks Baylor with a right hand when he hops up onto the entrance ramp, opening the door for Drake to roll up Heights for the win.

Winner: Jackson Drake

We then head backstage, where Saquon Shugars successfully recruits Noam Dar and Romeo Moreno to team up with him to take on DarkState in a Six Man Tag Team Match when Moreno talks Dar into agreeing. 

We then head backstage, where Kali Armstrong asks Jaida Parker what she's looking at. Nattie blindsides Parker from behind when Armstrong walks off, with Nikkita Lyons and Karmen Petrovic joining her. 

Back at ringside, Kelani Jordan makes her way out. Lola Vice and Kali Armstrong both follow. 

The bell rings and Jordan and Vice clothesline Armstrong out of the ring. Armstrong gets back inside and fires off shoulders on Jordan and Vice's midsections in opposite corners, but Vice calls for a Hip Attack. The referee steps in front of Jordan to stop Vice, allowing Armstrong to deliver bodyslams to Vice and Jordan.

Armstrong ascends to the top rope and delivers a crossbody to take out Jordan and Vice on the outside. Armstrong and Jordan then fire off stomps on Vice and level her with back elbows, but Jordan lands a boot on Armstrong's midsection and dumps her out of the ring. Jordan looks to cinch in a variation of a Boston Crab on Vice, but Armstrong takes her out and looks to lock in a variation of a Boston Crab in on Vice herself.

Vice escapes, but Jordan delivers a double codebreaker to Armstrong and Vice. Jordan delivers a German suplex to Armstrong and fires off a right hand on Vice's spine, then delivers a leg drop to Vice off the middle rope and follows it up with a split legged moonsault to her.

Vice cinches in a Triangle on Jordan, but Jordan counters into a pinfall. Armstrong breaks the fall and lands a boot on Vice, then goes for a pin on Jordan. Jordan bridges up before Armstrong fires off right hands on Jordan and Vice. Jordan and Armstrong then take turns rolling one another up, but Jordan levels Vice with a springboard back below and follows it up with a 450 Splash off the top rope to Armstrong. Vice then catches Armstrong with a spinning kick to her head and pins her for the win.

Winner (and new Number One Contender): Lola Vice

We then head outside the Performance Center, where we see officials frantically running to the parking lot to find Tony D'Angelo and Naraku brawling with one another. Officials separate the two men, with Robert Stone informs both men that their NXT Championship match will be a Street Fight as the show goes off the air.
