AEW Collision Results 7/18 - Three Titles On The Line, Will Ospreay & Athena In Action

Welcome to Wrestling Inc.'s coverage of AEW "Collision" on July 18, 2026, coming to you from the MGM Music Hall in Boston, Massachusetts.

Last week, Hikaru Shida defeated Harley Cameron in her first defense of the TBS Championship. After defeating Cameron, Shida attacked her until Queen Aminata came to help her friend. Aminata wants revenge for the attack and challenged Shida for the title.

Tommaso Ciampa will face "The Painmaker", the alter ego of Chris Jericho at Redemption. With "Collision" in his hometown of Boston, Ciampa challenged Myron Reed and invited Jericho to watch.

Another Boston native, Mercedes Moné picked up the win alongside Divine Dominion in the "Dynamite" main event. We'll hear from "The CEO" tonight.

"Jungle" Jack Perry re-signed with AEW and is looking for a young wrestler that's hungry like he was and issued an open challenge. Nick Wayne, fresh off of his second BOSJ tournament, will face Perry tonight.

Kevin Knight will face Darby Allin on "Dynamite" for the TNT Championship. Knight challenged Allin's trainer, AR Fox in a warm up match with his title on the line.

Bandido retained his ROH Men's World Championship against Katsuyori Shibata last Saturday. He'll challenge Kyle Fletcher for the International Championship at Redemption. Tonight, "The Most Wanted" will defend his title against Adam Priest.

Will Ospreay will face his training partner and longtime friend, Adam Brooks.

The Brawling Birds returned on "Dynamite" and will be in action tonight. After dealing with visa issues, Hechicero finally made his return on Wednesday. Tonight, he'll team up with Brian Cage and Jake Doyle ahead of their match next Wednesday. Athena will also be in action.

Paul Wight joins Tony Schiavone on commentary. Perry comes to the ring first. Wayne follows.

Perry backed him into the corner and they reversed holds in the corner. Perry worked his arm and Wayne reversed into a side headlock, but Perry took him down. They reverse stand and switches. Perry put him in another side headlock and took him down with a shoulder tackle. He followed with a dropkick and a baseball slid through the ropes. Perry chopped him against the barricades and sent him to the other side to do the same. He chopped Wayne to knees and jogged up and down the steps. Wayne grabbed his face and then spiked him on top of the steps.

After the break, Perry slammed his face into the turnbuckles before stomping into the turnbuckle repeatedly. He followed with a leg drop. Wayne blocked him on the apron and landed an enzuiguri. Perry landed a powerbomb on the apron. They followed by chasing each other across the ring and forearming each other. Perry with a poisonrana. He blocked a Killswitch attempt and took Wayne down with a lariat. Wayne rolled him up for two. Perry did the same. Wayne kicked him off the apron and landed a Destroyer through the ropes.

Wayne landed a splash and Perry followed with a Fisherman Buster. Perry with a thrust kick and running knee for the win.

Winner: Jack Perry

Knight comes to the ring first. Fox followed.

Knight hit Fox in the back while Fox was posing on the turnbuckle. He stomped him and sent him to the floor. He Irish Whip'd him into the barricade and danced on the commentary table. Knight went for a Phenomenal Forearm, but Fox moved. Fox sent him down with a tijares. Fox followed with a cutter and chopped him in the corner several times. Fox kicked Knight off the apron. Knight pulled him down and made him hit his jaw on the apron. Fox went for a moonsault, but Knight moved. Knight landed a Phenomenal Forearm off the commentary table.

After the break, Knight blocked the Crash Landing. Fox landed another cutter and followed with a Swanton Dive from the top. Knight asked for a time out before sending Fox through on to the ramp. Fox responded with a running cutter over the rope and jumped over the rope and pulled Knight down before landing a 450.

Fox forearmed Knight and placed him on the turnbuckle. He leapt up and Knight caught him and landed an avalanche chokeslam. He followed with the UFO Splash for the win.

Knight joined commentary for the DCF match.

Brian Cage, Jake Doyle, and Hechicero come to the ring, accompanied by Don Callis, Lance Archer, Rocky Romero, and Trent. Their opponents are already in the ring.

Doyle and Nolan start us off. Doyle took him down and then did a body drop. Hechivero landed a knee on Medina and twisted his legs and head. Cage landed a big boot on Filip and followed with a twisting neckbreaker. Hechicero took out Medina. Doyle tossed Nolan onto the apron. Cage flipped Filip into a pin.

Winner: Don Callis Family

After the match, RPG Vice and Archer attacked them. Speedball's music hit and he ran out before bringing out The Conglomeration, Komander, and The Rascalz. Lethal Twist looks on from somewhere in the arena.

Mox joined commentary. Ospreay comes to the ring first. Brooks follows.

They hugged before the bell and Brooks landed a running boot. He struck repeatedly in the corner. Ospreay chopped him and sent him into the corner. Brooks kneed him in the gut. Ospreay with a hurricanrana and Brooks went to the outside. He landed a flying elbow to Brooks to the outside. He chopped him before dropping his back across the barricade. Ospreay landed another flying elbow in the ring. Brooks blocked a double underhook. Ospreay went for an OsCutter and Brooks moved. He kneed him in the gut and hit him in the head while Ospreay was on the mat. Brooks took him down again and covered for two. They exchanged blows. Brooks sent him the apron and hit him in the yambags. He followed with a running kick and sent him off the apron and followed with tope suicida. He put Ospreay back in the ring and landed multiple enzuiguris. Brooks fishhooked Ospreay for 5. Brooks went for a powerbomb and Ospreay reversed and landed a Skytwister kick.

Ospreay followed with a jawbreaker, a kick to the gut and another Skytwister. Brooks put the ref in the way and landed an enzuiguri. Brooks landed an exploder and a dropkick. Brooks told him to stay down and kicked him in the face. Ospreay grabbed his foot and punched him in the face. They exchanged blows again. Ospreay landed a few kicks. Brooks landed a backstabber. Ospreay landed a cutter and as he charged at Brooks, Brooks spit at him. Ospreay stomped and then punched him repeatedly. The match ended in a referee stoppage.

Winner: Will Ospreay

Athena comes to the ring where her opponent was waiting.

Athena suplexed her three times in a row. She followed with a running boot, sending her to the floor. She followed with a running kick from the apron. Everett got in some body shots and hit her in the face. Athena caught her crossbody attempt and threw her down. She put Everett in the ring. Everett with a boot and a roll up. She landed a stunner on Athena. Athena hit her with a big boot to the face. She landed two Liger Bombs and a right cross before locking her into a submission until she tapped.

Winner: Athena

The Brawling Birds came out as Athena was walking up the ramp. 

The Birds attacked them as soon as the bell rang and then sent them out of the ring. Alex hit James in the spine and threw her into the barricade. They sent James and Lopez into each other. Alex kicked James in the gut. James got in several forearms. Alex rolled her up and landed a diving headbutt. Hayter stomped James in the corner. James with an Irish Whip. Jamie chopped her repeatedly with wrist control. They did a stand and switch. Lopez hit Jamie. Jamie supeled Lopez while Alex hit a lariat on James. The Birds landed Two Birds, One Stone on James for the win.

Winner: Brawling Birds

Ciampa comes to the ring first. Reed follows, accompanied by Zachary Wentz & Dezmond Xavier.

Reed backed Ciampa to the corner. He invited Ciampa forward and Ciampa backed him into the corner and chopped him. Reed fought out. Ciampa put the ref between them and started pounding on Reed. Reed landed a springboard dropkick. Ciampa followed with an uppercut. He pulled his kneepad down and ran at Reed. Reed moved and kicked him in the face. Ciampa suplexed him, but Reed landed on his feet. Reed used the top rope to assist with a suplex. Ciampa pulled Reed down, but Reed got up and landed a reverse kick. Ciampa landed Willow's Bell.

After the break, Ciampa landed a knee on Reed in midair. Reed landed a leg drop on Ciampa. Reed landed an enzuiguri and a crossbody over the rope. Reed landed a flying uppercut from the top rope. Reed put Ciampa on the turnbuckle, but Ciampa did an avalanche Air Raid Crash. Ciampa pulled Reed up by his bandana and chopped him to the mat after addressing Pain Maker. Reed dodged a powerbomb and landed a cutter. He followed with a cutter over the top rope and did one back into the ring. Both men are on their knees and chop each other. Back on their feet, they exchange blows. Reed countered a suplex into a stunner. Ciampa kicked Reed out of the air and landed a backstabber. He pulled his knee pad down again and landed a running knee for the win.

Winner: Tommaso Ciampa

After the match, Ciampa grabbed a mic and walked over to the commentary table. Wight stood up and said, "we're not going to do that. You can talk to me." Ciampa climbed in Wight's chair and said he knows he's friends with Jericho. He wants him to tell Jericho that he's better than him and the Psycho Killer is not afraid on the Pain Maker. If he wants a fight at Redemption, he can have it, but it's going to be No Holds Barred. 

Renee Paquette invited Mercedes Moné to the ring. Renee asks about who she thinks will win between Thekla and Willow. Mercedes says they're in Boston, the city of champions. We don't celebrate second place and the Women's World Championship is coming home to her at ALL IN. She doesn't give a damn who wins at Redemption because she's leaving ALL IN with the title. She said Thekla couldn't handle her cracking her in the head and ran off to Japan. Willow ran off to Japan too. Mercedes said one hides behind fake poison and one hides behind a fake smile. She said Renee asked the wrong question. She said it's not who is walking in as champion, it's who's walking out as champion and it's the CEO.

Bandido comes to the ring. Adam Priest is already in the ring.

They shake hands. Priest puts Bandido in a side headlock and attempts a shoulder tackle. Bandido with two German Suplexes. Bandido points a finger gun at Priest's face. He landed a standing dropkick and had his own finger pistol. He chopped Bandido and worked his arm. Bandido kicked him in the face twice and lifted him over his head. Priest sent him into the corner and then out of the ring. He landed a running knee from the apron.

After the break, they exchanged blows. Priest grabbed his arms, but Bandido fought out and suplexed him twice and lifted him over the hand for a one arm slam and a one arm suplex. He followed with a frog splash, but Priest moved. Priest rolled through and followed with a lariat. Bandido threw him over his head. He followed with a 21 Plex, but Priest held on to the rope. Bandido with an armdrag and a slam. Priest grabbed his ankle and Bandido kicked him and did a deadlift German for the win.

Winner (and still): Bandido

Aminata comes to the ring first. Shida follows.

The ref has to keep them apart before the bell rings. They exchanged blows when the bell rang. Shida yelled at her and Aminata hit her repeatedly. Shida poked her in the eyes. Aminata kicked her in the back and connected with Chocolate Kisses. She followed with a kick to the chest. Aminata grabbed a chair and put Shida in it. She chopped her before landing a running dropkick from the apron. Aminata put Shida in the ring and went up top, but Shida rolled to the ramp. Aminata went for a double stomp, but Shida rolled out of the way. Shida hit her with a forearm on the ramp. Aminata sent her into the turnbuckle. She went for a Queen's Crown, but Shida moved and landed a Deadeye.

After the break, Aminata had Shida locked in a Boston Crab. Aminata landed multiple strikes. She landed a swinging neckbreaker and went up top and landed a double stomp on Shida. Shida rolled out of the ring and Aminata limped over. Shida hit Aminata and grabbed her kendo stick. The ref took it. Aminaa kicked her in the gut and Shida gouged her eyes and sent her into the barricade. She sent Aminata into the ring and landed a meteora. She sent her to the mat. She slammed Aminata's knee into the mat repeatedly. Aminata rolled her up for two. They exchanged roll up attempts. Shida draognscrewed her leg. Aminata landed Queen's Crown and a running knee. Shida rolled her up with her feet on the ropes. The ref didn't see it and Shida won.

Winner (and still): Hikaru Shida

After the match, Shida attacked Aminata with the kendo stick. Maya World ran down to the ring. She kicked Shida in the gut and struck her a few times. Shida rolled out of the ring with her title while World had her kendo stick. They announced World will challenge for the title at Redemption.
