AEW Dynamite Results 7/29 - World Trios Championship On The Line & More

Welcome to Wrestling Inc.'s results for "AEW Dynamite" on July 29, 2026, coming to you live from the Masonic Temple Theater in Detroit, Michigan!

Orange Cassidy, Kyle O'Reilly, and Roderick Strong of The Conglomeration will be putting their AEW World Trios Championship on the line as they defend against The Demand's Ricochet, Toa Liona, and Bishop Kaun. Cassidy, O'Reilly, and Strong successfully retained their title against The Lethal Twist's Jay Lethal, Lee Johnson, and Blake Christian on the AEW Redemption Buy In Pre-Show this past Sunday as Ricochet joined the announce desk for the match flanked by Liona and Kaun.

Willow Nightingale put an end to Thekla's 165 day reign as AEW Women's World Champion during Redemption, becoming the first ever AEW Women's Grand Slam Champion in the process. As she looks ahead to AEW All In on August 30 where she will be defending her newly won title against 2026 Women's Owen Hart Foundation Cup Tournament winner Mercedes Mone, she will be hosting a championship celebration tonight.

Additionally, Renee Paquette will be speaking with The Young Bucks and AEW World Tag Team Champions Christian Cage and Adam Copeland after it was revealed at Redemption via a graphic that Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson would be challenging Cage and Copeland for their title at All In in the moments that followed their successful defense against The Death Riders' PAC and Claudio Castagnoli.

We are live! Excalibur, Tony Schiavone, and Taz greet audiences at home before Renee Paquette looks to catch up with Will Ospreay outside the Masonic Temple Theater. The Death Riders block Ospreay's path, and Jon Moxley stares him down. Daniel Garcia gets in Ospreay's face, but Ospreay clocks him as Moxley holds him back. Moxley asks Ospreay if he's sure he wants to do that, and Ospreay says Moxley doesn't get to pull the trigger for him. He hands him back his Death Riders patch and says he's out, but then runs into "Hangman" Adam Page. Page says he's been in Ospreay's shoes before, but Ospreay never let him feel bad when he did last year and tells him that he's there if he needs anything. Ospreay says he can't trust Kenny Omega which means he can't trust Page, then tells him he wants to go at it alone. Page stops Ospreay when he looks to leave and offers Ospreay some encouragement, then tells him he's got challenging for the AEW World Championship at All In in the bag.

Back at ringside, Jack Perry makes his way out. Nick Wayne and Andrade El Idolo follow.

The bell rings and Perry superkicks Andrade. He fires off chops on Wayne, but Wayne takes down Perry with an open palm strike. Andrade responds with the Three Amigos to Wayne, but Perry stops him after the first suplex. Wayne and Perry then look to land a double suplex on Andrade, but Andrade reverses into a double suplex of his own on both men.

Perry sends Wayne crashing into the floor on the outside, but Andrade takes flight to level Perry. He spots a female fan in the crowd and takes a shirtless picture with her, but Wayne delivers a Sliced Break to him off one of the barricades. Perry dumps Wayne back into the rig and pins him, but Wayne kicks out. Andrade then lands the Three Amigos on Perry, but Wayne catches him with a Spanish Fly.

Back from the break, Andrade pulls Wayne off the ropes to powerbomb. He fires off a chop on Perry as Perry sits on the top rope, but Perry delivers a hurricanrana off the ropes to send Andrade crashing out of the ring and onto the floor. He dumps Andrade back inside the ring and delivers a Frog Splash off the ropes to Andrade's spine, then lands a suplex on him and goes for a pin. Perry breaks the fall.

Andrade fires off chops on Perry and Wayne, then levels them both with a double clothesline and delivers the Bull's Horns to Perry. He goes for a pin, but Perry kicks out and Andrade sits him on the top rope.

Perry flies out of the ring through the middle rope and again over the top rope to take out Andrade and Wayne on the outside. He delivers a moonsault to level both men and dumps Wayne back inside the ring, then delivers a powerbomb to him and goes for a pin. Wayne kicks out, but Andrade clotheslines Perry out of the ring and looks to fly off the top rope. Wayne gets his knees up and connects with a Phoenix Splash on Andrade, then goes for a pin but Perry breaks the fall. Wayne rolls up Andrade with his feet on the ropes, but Andrade kicks out and delivers the DM to Waye for the win.

Winner (and still): Andrade El Idolo

After the match, Tony Schiavone joins Andrade in the ring and asks him how he's feeling. Andrade says he's feeling tranquilo because he screwed MJF by taking his "Dynamite" Diamond Ring. He says he can fight anyone, and will be the best National Champion ever. Schiavone then ass him about the match next week in Mexico to select the first entrant in the Casino Gauntlet Match at All In and asks him if he would consider it. Andrade responds by asking Schiavone "how you know". 

The Don Callis Family then makes his way to the ring. Brody King, Bandido, and "Speedball" Mike Bailey follow. 

Kyle Fletcher and King begin the action. The bell rings and the two lock up. King levels Fletcher with a shoulder tackle, but Fletcher rocks King with a forearm strike. Brian Cage tags in and fires off strikes on King in the corner, but Jake Doyle tags in and delivers a double suplex to King with Cage.

Fletcher tags back in and charges at King, but King intercepts him with a boot. Bailey tags in and ascends to the top rope, then lands an elbow drop on Fletcher's arm as King holds him in place. Bandido tags in and delivers a double stomp to Fletcher's arm off the top rope as Bailey holds it in place for him.

King, Bandido, and Bailey triple team on Fletcher in the corner, and King delivers a clothesline to Fletcher. Bandido (who has tagged in) looks to fly off the top rope, but Fletcher sees him coming. Bandido then delivers a vertical suplex to Fletcher and rains down right hands on him in the corner before he lands an enzuigiri on him from the rig apron. Cage scoops up Bandido and powerbombs him into the ring post.

Back from the break, King delivers a double cannonball to Cage and Doyle in the corner as the two men are stacked on top of one another. He levels Cage with a lariat and tags out to Bailey, but Fletcher tags in and delivers a knee strike to Bailey. He goes for a pin, but King and Bandido both break the fall.

Cage and Doyle quickly take out King and Bandido. Bailey delivers a kick to Fletcher and follows it up with his signature flipping double knees, then delivers a roundhouse kick to Fletcher to level him when Fletcher charges at him.

Bandido and Doyle tag in, and Bandido delivers a Gorilla Press to Doyle. He ascends to the top rope and lands a Frog Splash on Doyle, but Doyle rolls through and delivers a bodyslam to Bandido. He runs over him with a splash as everyone begins taking one another out.

Bailey delivers a springboard moonsault to Fletcher off the ropes, but Doyle levels Bandido with a right hand when Bandido charges at him. Bailey tags in and delivers his signature flipping knees off the top rope to Doyle's spine. He then rolls up Doyle for the win.

Winners: Brody King, Bandido, and "Speedball" Mike Bailey

We then head over to a video of Renee Paquette sitting down with Adam Copeland, Christian Cage, and The Young Bucks. Nick Jackson reveals that his family and Matt Jackson's family will be travelling to London for all in, then voices the respect that The Young Bucks have for Copeland and Cage. Copeland returns the sentiment before Matt says himself and Nick spent two years trying to get the AEW World Tag Team Championship back. He says the AEW World Tag Team Championship are the legacy of The Young Bucks, but Cage says he's not playing anything that The Young Bucks have done in their careers as he expresses his confidence in himself and Copeland being able to retain at All In.

Back at ringside, Persephone makes her way out. Maya World follows.

The bell rings and the two lock up. World levels Persephone with a spinning heel kick, but Persephone stomps on World's neck on the outside of the ring.

Back from the break, Persephone delivers a dive through the middle rope to take out World on the outside. Persephone charges at World but World levels her with a kick and lands a moonsault off the ropes. Hikaru Shida slides her signature kendo stick in the ring and Persephone takes hold of it. Shida distracts the referee and World, but Kris Statlander appears to grab the kendo stick from Persephone. This opens the door for World to land a Fallaway Slam on Persephone and bridge up into a pinfall for the win.

Winner (and still): Maya world

After the match, Statlander raises World's hand in the center of the ring.

Renee Paquette introduces Nightingale, and she makes her way to the ring. Fans tell Nightingale that she deserves it as Paquette asks what winning the AEW Women's World Championship and becoming the first Women's Grand Slam Champion in AEW means to her, and Nightingale says it's exactly the kind of thing people dream about. She says she's living out her dream, then says there's been doubters along the way and says not everyone has gotten her just by looking at her.

Nightingale says she's made the fans very happy this past year and says she's become half of the inaugural AEW Women's World Tag Team Champions, beaten Mercedes Mone for the TBS Championship, and then got injured. She says her injury took her to a dark place, but her mom pulled her out of that and recalls her mom telling her she had two options: stay down or fight. She says she did what her mom would do and fought to get into the Casino Gauntlet Match to earn her AEW Women's World Championship match at Redemption. Nightingale tells the live crowd and fans at home not to give up if life is keeping you down, then tells them to keep fighting and pushing through because sometimes the comeback is even better than the dream.

Mercedes Mone's music hits and she makes her way out with a contract in hand. She says she didn't come to the ring to ruin Nightingale's celebration, but for business and tells her to sign the contract for their AEW Women's World Championship match at All In. Nightingale uses Mone's chest to do so, but Mone clocks Nightingale and Paquette announces that the All In match is official with Mone having presumably signed it earlier.

Nightingale asks Mone what her problem is, then ponders if it's that she's not getting attention or the fact that she lost her TBS Championship to her. She says it could also be that she has the one title Mone can't get, but Mone says the thing she hates most about Nightingale isn't her smile or the admiration from the fans, but the fact that Nightingale's name is written all over her story. She says when she got hurt, the fans celebrated Nightingale and says she had to go through Nightingale when she got to AEW. She says she'll finally end Nightingale's fairytale at All In and says Nightingale would be nothing without her, then says Nightingale is cheered by the fans for standing across the ring from her and demands that Nightingale admit she made her. She says she won't just take the AEW Women's World Championship from Nightingale at All In, but her smile too.

Nightingale and Mone continue arguing as Megan Bayne and Lena Kross appear. Nightingale clocks Mone, Bayne, and Kross, but Mone lands a chop block on Nightingale and Divine Dominion delivers a double chokeslam to Nightingale. Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor run out to the ring to force Mone and Divine Dominion to slide out of the ring.

Jon Moxley then makes his way to the ring. Komander follows. 

The bell rings and Komander rolls up Moxley. Moxley kicks out, but Komander flies through the middle rope to level him on the outside.

Back from the break, Moxley rolls up Komander. Komander kicks out and delivers a dropkick to Moxley off the top rope, but Moxley rains down right hands on Komander in the corner and bites his head. Komander responds with a leg drop to the back of Moxley's neck as Moxley is draped across the top rope, then walks across the top rope to fly and take out Moxley on the outside.

Komander delivers a moonsault to Moxley off the top rope, but Moxley responds with The Death Rider to Komander and cinches in the Bulldog Choke on him. Komander taps out.

Winner (and still): Jon Moxley

The Conglomeration then makes their way to the ring. The Demand follows.

Toa Liona takes out Orange Cassidy. Bishop Kaun levels Roderick Strong with a dropkick, but Kyle O'Reilly flies off the ring apron to take him out. Strong drapes Kaun across his knee for Cassidy to deliver an elbow drop to him off the ring apron, but Ricochet flies off the entrance ramp to take out Cassidy, Strong, and O'Reilly having been taken out earlier.

Casisdy and Liona get in the ring, and the bell sounds. Liona mocks Cassidy by putting his own hands into Cassidy's pockets and getting him up, but Cassidy catches him with a shotgun dropkick.

Back from the break, Ricochet rocks O'Reilly with a jumping knee. Liona catches O'Reilly with a headbutt, and Kaun follows it up with a bodyslam before Ricochet delivers a standing running Shooting Star Press on O'Reilly.

Cassidy tags in and ascends up the ropes, but Ricochet joins him on them. Liona runs over Strong and O'Reilly with a double clothesline, but Cassidy looks to catch him with an Orange Punch. Liona no sells it as Cassidy grabs onto his hand, but Cassidy manages to land a second Orange Punch on Liona, and Strong follows it up with an Angle Slam.

Jay Lethal and Lee Johnson run out to the ring to distract The Conglomeration, allowing Blake Christian to sneak up on Cassidy and hit him with one of the AEW World Trios Championship belts. This opens the door for Ricochet to tag in, deliver the Spirit Gun to Cassidy, and pin him for the win.

Winners (and new): The Demand

After the match, The Demand, The Lethal Twist, and The Conglomeration begin to brawl. Brody King runs out to even the odds, with "Hangman" Adam Page following with a chair wrapped in barbed wire in hand. Lethal grabs the chair from Page, but Page levels him with a Buckshot Lariat.

We then head over to a video from The Death Riders, where Daniel Garcia calls out Will Ospreay and Jon Moxley addresses the "mysterious" Continental Cup.

Tony Schiavone introduces Omega, and he makes his way out. The two men shake hands, but before Omega can talk, Will Ospreay's music hits and he makes his way out.

Omega calls for Ospreay's music to be cut off and says it's great Ospreay is in the ring because what he's about to say only needs to be heard by Ospreay. He says he used to do something called show and tell in kindergarten, then says Ospreay showed him how he felt at Redemption by giving him a One Winged Angel. He says he thought Ospreay would get it, but he sees an angry Ospreay in front of him and asks if it's time for the tell part.

Omega says he cares about Ospreay and he means the world to him. He asks Ospreay if he remembers making a promise to him to try their best and become champions. He says 100% of the time, he always puts his friendship with Ospreay ahead of a championship. He says that's the reason why he let Ospreay into the 2026 Men's Owen Hart Foundation Cup Tournament out of kindness and wanting the best for him, but then Ospreay told Omega that it really sucks he gave up on himself. He says those words cut deep for him and asks Ospreay if it looks like he gave up, then says Ospreay will never be one to talk down to him. He says even though he gave Ospreay plenty of warning about The Death Riders and Jon Moxley, but Ospreay pretended to know better and asks him what his excuse is now that it blew up in front of his face.

Ospreay says he came back from neck surgery early because all he thought about was revenge. He says his revenge slipped through his fingers and says all his confidence slipped through his fingers, then says he feels like he short changed the fans for his body failing him. He says he had no one to turn him, but Omega insists he was always there for Ospreay. Ospreay continues on to say that the guy he hated in Moxley gave him a new life and admits he liked being a Death Rider. He says he liked the commodity and the training. It says it reminded him of his days in Japan and says the more he got to know The Death Riders, the more he understood why they protect AEW. He says that's where their similar philosophies ended and says when he saw Omega face down in the ring with a chair around his neck at Redemption, he couldn't see someone he loved go through what he did.

Omega says he got beaten up in the ring at Redemption, and minutes felt like hours. He says he felt the chair slip down his neck and didn't have the energy to fight after a gruelling match against Kevin Knight, so all he could do was accept his fate. He says he then heard the cheers of the fans and knew it was Ospreay coming to save him, but an eternity passed. He says he took the chair off his neck, stood up, and turned around to see what had happened in order to understand more about Ospreay than ever before. He says he knew why it took so long about Ospreay and says he thought about choking him with the plastic bag himself, then slaps Ospreay and asks Ospreay if all their friendship was getting the AEW World Championship from Omega.

Omega slaps Ospreay two more times and says Ospreay will always be a step behind him. He says he'll always be better than Ospreay, but an angry Ospreay shoves Omega and threatens to deliver a Hidden Blade to him. Ospreay says no matter how much Omega respects him, he will take him out if he puts his hands on him.

Ospreay says he filled Omega's absence when he came to AEW. He says winners want the ball and he wants the ball, then says when 90 minutes are done in soccer, it's all over. He says it's his turn to kick the ball, then says he has an entire country depending on him to bring it home. He says England is asking if he can pull the trigger, then confidently says he can. He says he won't do it like Omega from behind or nearly kill him like Moxley would, then says when he pulls that trigger, Omega will see it coming.
