WWE Raw Results 8/24 - Stephanie Vaquer Faces Roxanne Perez, Contract Signing & More

Along with Becky Lynch, Stephanie Vaquer has been after Liv Morgan's Women's World Championship over the last several weeks. As she continues her quest to become a two time titleholder, she will be going head-to-head with Morgan's Judgment Day stablemate Roxanne Perez. Vaquer called out Morgan to brawl with her during last Monday's edition of "Raw". Morgan, Perez, and Women's Intercontinental Champion Raquel Rodriguez subsequently appeared, leading to a verbal confrontation that turned physical. Lynch came to Vaquer's aid, but an argument between the two women opened the door for Judgment Day to regain the upperhand.

Oba Femi and one half of the World Tag Team Champions Bron Breakker will be making their match for WWE Sunday Night's Main Event on September 6 official tonight when they put pen-to-paper and sign the contract for the match. Amidst the rising tensions between Breakker and his manager Paul Heyman, the former asked the latter last Monday who he thought the future of WWE really was between himself and Femi. Before Heyman could give his answer, Femi made his way out to the ring and a verbal confrontation ensued between him and Breakker.

Both semifinals matches in the World Heavyweight Championship Number One Contenders Tournament are set to be held tonight, as former Intercontinental Champion Penta collides with AAA star La Parka and AAA Cruiserweight Champion Rey Fenix squares off against Dragon Lee. Penta defeated one half of the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Champions Laredo Kid in the first round of the tournament, while La Parka emerged victorious against fellow AAA star Psycho Clown, Fenix scored a win against AAA's El Fiscal, and Lee beat AAA's El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. to advance to the semifinals.

Additionally, Solo Sikoa and LA Knight will both be making appearances on tonight's show. Although Sikoa was delivered to World Heavyweight Champion and leader of The Bloodline Roman Reigns last Monday following a loss to Jey Uso on the August 20 episode of "Raw", LA Knight crashed things. The Bloodline quickly overpowered Knight when he launched an attack on them, but Sikoa opted not to deliver a Samoan Spike on Knight when ordered by Reigns to do so and instead delivered it to Reigns to definitively decline rejoining his twin brothers and cousin.

We are live! Michael Cole and Corey Graves greet audiences at home before throwing it to a video of what went down between The Bloodline, LA Knight, and Solo Sikoa last Monday.

Knight then makes his way out to the ring.

Knight says he wants to talk to the fans, then says he wants to talk about a capital C coward in Roman Reigns standing in the capital city of Canada. He says Reigns won on his own at WWE SummerSlam, then questions why he's been sending all his family after him to keep him away. He says Reigns told him to win a tournament to earn a shot at his World Heavyweight Championship, then says if he's fighting his way to the World Heavyweight Championship, he might have to get his hands dirty in some family business.

Solo Sikoa appears in the crowd and says he wants to talk to Knight, then thanks Knight for helping him out last Monday and says no one would've thought they'd be teaming up two years ago. He says Knight could've told him no, but he said yeah instead. Knight says he let Sikoa get away with two of his catchphrases, but issues a warning shot to him.

The Usos' music hits, and Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso make their way out. Jimmy says he bets Sikoa thought it was funny to go against his own brothers and land a Samoan Spike on Reigns, then says Sikoa has consequences coming his way. Jey issues a warning shot to Sikoa, but Sikoa ducks it in the ring and challenges The Usos to a tag team match tonight on behalf of himself and Knight. Sikoa issues a warning shot to The Usos.

Stephanie Vaquer then makes her way to the ring. Judgment Day follows.

The bell rings and Perez slaps Vaquer. Perez rolls out of the ring, but Vaquer chases her back inside. Perez catches Vaquer with a kick on her midsection and fires off stomps on her head, then slaps Vaquer once again. Vaquer returns the favor and wears down Perez's right arm, but Perez sends Vaquer crashing out of the ring and sends her crashing into the barricade. She then sends her crashing into another one of the barricades midsection first.

Perez wears down Vaquer inside the ring using her legs and the middle rope during the commercial break, then fires off a stomp on her and rains down right hands on her. She cinches in a submission on her, but Vaquer sends Perez crashing into the corner of the ring repeatedly spine first to escape the hold.

Perez pins Vaquer back from the break, but Vaquer kicks out and wears down Perez with a submission hold.

Vaquer delivers a boot to Perez's midsection, then connects with a tilt-a-whirl back breaker on him and connects with The Devil's Kiss. She lands a Dragon Screw on Perez and follows it up with a meteora, but Perez grabs onto the ring skirt. As the referee fixes it, Perez rakes Vaquer's eyes and sends her crashing into the mat face first. She follows it up with a Shining Wizard on her and goes for a pin, but Vaquer kicks out.

Vaquer ascends to the top rope, but Liv Morgan trips her up as Raquel Rodriguez distracts the referee. Becky Lynch's music hits and she makes her way out. Vaquer sends Morgan crashing into the ring steps and stares dwon Lynch, openign the door for Perez to land another Shining Wizard on her and set up for a moonsault off the ropes. Vaquer avoids it and delivers a butterfly backbreaker-lungblower combination to Perez for the win.

Winner: Stephanie Vaquer

After the match, Lynch stares down Vaquer and leaves the ring.
