Raquel Rodriguez of Judgment Day will be making her first televised defense of the Women's Intercontinental Championship as she puts it on the line against Sol Ruca. With Rodriguez having dethroned Ruca as titleholder on the July 27 episode of "Raw", Lyra Valkyria looked to take Ruca's title opportunity from her in a backstage segment during last Monday's episode of "Raw" as Ruca chatted with "Raw" backstage correspondent Jackie Redmond and her friend IYO SKY. Ruca ultimately declined to give Valkyria her slot and told her that she couldn't have it from her.

Roman Reigns' challenger for the World Heavyweight Championship on "Raw" on September 14 will be revealed tonight, as brothers Penta and Rey Fenix in a Finals Match for the World Heavyweight Championship Number One Contenders Tournament. Fenix defeated AAA star El Fiscal in the first round on the August 17 episode of "Raw" and Dragon Lee in the semifinals last Monday, while Penta emerged victorious against AAA World Mixed Tag Team Champions Laredo Kid in the first round on the August 10 edition of "Raw" and AAA star La Parka in the semifinals last Monday.

Additionally, the aforementioned Reigns will be making an appearance on tonight's show ahead of his upcoming September 14 World Heavyweight Championship defense and unsuccessfully being delivered Solo Sikoa on August 17 when Sikoa and LA Knight got the better of The Bloodline.

We are live! We see The Bloodline pulling up to the arena, but OTM and Royce Keys blindside them with an attack. Keys uses a carjack to break the windshield of The Usos' car. OTM then chokeslams Jimmy on the trunk of the car, but Jacob Fatu appears with a pope in hand.

Wade Barrett and Joe Tessitore greet audiences at home as Sol Ruca makes her way to the ring. Raquel Rodriguez follows, but Jacob Fatu storms into the ringside area. Fatu calls out Royce Keys to send him, Lucien Price, and Bronco Nima a message. Officials tell Fatu to get him down from his position on top of the announce desk, and his microphone gets cut off.

The bell rings and Rodriguez sends Ruca crashing into the corner. She fires off back elbows on Ruca, but Ruca sends Rodriguez crashing into the top rope and clotheslines her out of the ring. She flies over the top rope and out of the ring to take down Rodriguez, then dumps her back inside the ring and looks to fly off the top rope.

Rodriguez moves out of the way and levels Ruca, but Ruca looks to level Rodriguez with a crossbody. Rodriguez catches her, but Ruca levels Rodriguez with a springboard crossbody and pins her. Rodriguez kicks out, but Ruca looks to land a moonsault on her off the ropes. Rodriguez responds with a crossbody to level Ruca on the outside.

Back from the break, Rodriguez gets Ruca up on her shoulders on the ring apron. Ruca pulls Rodriguez off the ring apron with a powerbomb, but Roxanne Perez and Liv Morgan run out to the ring. Ruca levels both women and lands a springboard Tornillo on both of them, then dumps Rodriguez back in the ring.

Morgan hops up on the apron, but Lyra Valkyria appears out of nowhere to help Rodriguez get Ruca up on her shoulders as Ruca sets up for the Sol Snatcher on Rodriguez and Morgan distracts the referee. This opens the door for Rodriguez to deliver a Texana Bomb to Ruca and pin her for the win.

Winner (and still): Raquel Rodriguez

Gable says he loves the energy of the live crowd and thanks them, then says when he won the Intercontinental Championship, he thought he would feel like he made it. He says he doesn't feel satisfied because he realized that the real work starts now that he's Intercontinental Champion, then says now is when he begins to define his legacy and how he wants to be remembered as a champion. He says he can confidently stand in the ring and say he would not be Intercontinental Champion if it wasn't "for the Mexican people", then reveals he'll be defending his Intercontinental Championship on September 14 and calls Dragon Lee to the ring.

Lee's music hits and he makes his way out. Gable says Lee is one of his favorite talents on the roster, and Lee reciprocates the sentiment. He reveals "Raw" General Manager Adam Pearce has let him choose his opponent on September 14, but Ethan Page's music cuts him off and he makes his way out.

Page says Gable is offering an Intercontinental Championship match to a "talentless" Luchadors and tells Gable to face him if he "wants a real challenger". Gable says Page is on his list of challengers, but implies that Page's name is right at the bottom of it after The Honky Tonk Man.

Page continues to run his mouth, but Lee cuts him off and says he doesn't believe Page is better than him nor do the fans. He challenges Page to a match, and Gable ups the stakes by making it a Number One Contenders Match for his Intercontinental Championship.

The bell rings and the two lock up. Lee delivers a single leg dropkick to Page, but Page delivers a powerslam to Lee and levels him with a kick. He rains down right hands on Lee and pins him, but Lee kicks out and fires off chops on Page.

Page fires off shoulders on Lee's midsection in the corner, then whips him into the corner spine first and lands a kick on him. He trips up Page and delivers a single leg kick to him from the ring apron, then lands a dropkick on him in the corner and goes for a pin. Page kicks out, but Lee sends him crashing out of the ring and flies over the top rope with a tope con hilo to level Page on the outside.

Back from the break, Lee looks to fly off the top rope. Page moves out of the way and trips Lee up using the ring skirt, then connects with a double underhook twisting neckbreaker to Lee to send him crashing into his knee and pins him back inside the ring. Lee kicks out and rolls up Page, but Page kicks out and Lee fires off right hands on him.

Lee rocks Page with a knee strike on the ring apron. Gable chases Page back into the ring, but the referee tells him to back down. This opens the door for Page to expose the top turnbuckle and send Lee crashing into it chest first when Lee charges at Page, but the referee spots the exposed turnbuckle and refuses to count a pinfall. Lee takes advantage and delivers Operation Dragon to Page for the win.

Winner (and new Number One Contender): Dragon Lee

We then head backstage, where Roman Reigns tells Jacob Fatu that Royce Keys is his problem. He then makes his way to the ring.

Reigns tells Cleveland to acknowledge him, then says being the one true champion that matters is a burden. He says everyone wants what he has, then says Penta and Rey Fenix are trying to earn a World Heavyweight Championship match unlike everyone else in the back. He addresses Solo Sikoa and says Sikoa blew an opportunity with The Bloodline for LA Knight. He says Knight may remind Sikoa of The Rock, but he's not his family.

Knight's music hits and he makes his way out. He says he wants to talk to the fans and says he's got a lot going on after last week. He says he should be talking about Royce Keys and OTM, but Reigns is recycling material and says he thought Reigns was better than that. He says he didn't realize "OTC" stood for one tremendous coward and tells him to say he's scared if he is. He says Reigns was probably home nursing his injuries and rethinking his life decisions at home last week, then says once you whip the horse, you have to take the ride.

We head backstage and see Solo Sikoa down backstage along with a couple officials. They're all being checked on as Knight runs to the back, but Reigns blindsides him from behind.

We then head over to a video hyping up Lola Vice's "Raw" debut. 

Back at ringside. Judgment Day makes their way out. Je'Von Evans follows.

The bell rings and Evans levels Dominik with a dropkick. McDonagh distracts Evans to allow Dominik to fire off stomps on him, but Evans flies over the top rope to take out Dominik on the outside.

Back from the break. Dominik delivers a jawbreaker to Evans using the top rope. He goes for a pin, but Evans kicks out and Dominik levels Evans with a right hand. He then goes for a pin, but Evans kicks out and rocks Dominik with a series of right hands.

Evans fires off stomps on Dominik in the corner of the ring, then sends him crashing into the middle turnbuckle face first and levels him with a clothesline off the top rope. McDonagh pulls Dominik out of the ring, but Evans levels McDonagh with a right hand and clotheslines Dominik into the timekeeper's area. McDonagh levels Evans on the outside, causing the disqualification.

Winner: Je'Von Evans (via disqualification)

After the match, Dominik and McDonagh continue to beat down Evans until Joe Hendry's music hits and he comes to Evans' aid. He dumps the Judgment Day members out of the ring, prompting Adam Pearce to appear and make a tag team match between all four men official. 

Evans and Hendry blindside Judgment Day at the bottom of the entrance ramp. Evans flies over the barricade near the timekeeper's area to take out Dominik and McDoangh.

Back from the break, Hendry delivers a neckbreaker to McDonagh and pins him. McDonagh kicks out, but Hendry lands a delayed vertical suplex on him and tags out to Evans. McDonagh rolls out of the ring, but Evans chases McDonagh back into the ring. Dominik tags in and blindsides Evans from behind, then fires off stomps on him and knocks Hendry off the ring apron. Hendry looks to interfere, but the referee stops him and Dominik delivers a suplex to Evans.

McDonagh tags back in and delivers a suplex of his own to Evans, then sends him crashing into the top turnbuckle. He sits Evans on the top rope and fires off a right hand on him, but Evans returns the favor and flies off the top rope to take down McDonagh inside the ring.

Hendry tags in and delivers a double Fallaway Slam to Dominik and McDonagh before McDonagh sends Evans crashing into the ring post on the outside. Inside the ring, Dominik delivers a Frog Splash to Hendry and pins him for the win.

Winners: Judgment Day

We then head backstage, where Stephanie Vaquer crashes an interview between Becky Lynch and Jackie Redmond. Vaquer questions why Lynch helped her, and Lynch says she did it to take out Judgment Day. She adds that if she were to help someone, she'd want to take the Women's World Championship off someone like Vaquer instead of Liv Morgan. Vaquer thanks Lynch, but insists that she needs no help from anyone else. She tells Lynch to stay away from her.

Rey Fenix then makes his way to the ring. Penta follows.

The bell rings and the two men exchange overhand chops with one another. The two men continue to go back and forth with one another exchanging and blocking each other's offense, but Fenix lands a hurricanrana on Penta and fires off an overhand chop on him. He follows it up with a second hurricanrana off the top rope, but Penta delivers a dropkick to Fenix's midsection as Fenix looks to use the ropes. Penta then flies over the top rope to take out Fenix on the outside.

Back from the break, Penta trips up Fenix with a kick to him. He goes for a pin but Fenix kicks out and delivers a Tornillo to Penta off the ropes on the outside. He dumps him back in the ring, but Penta intercepts Fenix with a thrust kick when Fenix looks to fly in through the middle rope.

Fenix fires off a kick on Penta's chest, but Penta uses the top rope to land a jawbreaker on Fenix. Fenix and Penta then take turns delivering kicks one another to take each other down, but Penta delivers a kick to Fenix's head to send him crashing off the ropes and on the outside of the ring. Penta then dumps Fenix back inside the ring.

Back from another break, Penta fires off back elbows on Fenix. He delivers a backstabber to him out of the corner and goes for a pin, but Fenix kicks out and Penta looks to catch him with a Mexican Destroyer on the ring apron. Fenix blocks it and lands a moonsault on Penta off the ropes, then goes for a pin but Penta kicks out.

Penta delivers a sit-out powerbomb to Fenix, then ascends to the top rope. Fenix joins him up there, but Penta looks to land a super Mexican Destroyer on Fenix ff the ropes. Fenix lands on his feet, then sets up for a Mexican Muscle Buster. Penta escapes and delivers the Penta Driver on Fenix. He goes for a pin, but Fenix kicks out.

The action spills out of the ring, and Penta clears the announce desk. Fenix joins Penta on it and lands a second Penta Driver on Fenix to send him crashing through the announce desk. The referee begins a ten count, but both men beat it and Fenix delivers a hurricanrana to Penta. Penta intercepts Fenix with a Mexican Destroyer and pins him for the win.

Winner (and new Number One Contender): Penta

After the match, Penta helps up Fenix and raises his arm. Roman Reigns' music hits and he makes his way out to the ring. He stares down Penta and holds up his World Heavyweight Championship belt as Penta throws up his Zero Miedo symbol and the show goes off the air.
