AEW Collision Results 9/5/2026 - Andrade El Idolo Vs. Gabe Kidd, MCMG In Action

At All In, Andrade El Idolo won the Casino Gauntlet Battle Royal to become the Number One contender for the Men's World Championship. On "Dynamite", Gabe Kidd put Will Ospreay on notice. After teaming with Ospreay against Kidd in a 5-on-5 match, El Idolo and Kidd fought through the arena. Tonight, El Idolo will defend his National title against Kidd.

Persephone won the TBS Championship at All In with the help of Britt Baker. Persephone will defend her title against the newly signed Vertvixen with Baker on commentary. ROH Women's World Champion Athena will have a Proving Ground match against Isla Dawn. If Dawn can last 10 minutes or defeat Athena, she'll get a future title shot.

The Young Bucks came up short once again in a tag title match. Before they compete for them again at All Out, they'll face Don Callis Family members Jake Doyle and Brian Cage. Following Cope and Christian retaining their titles at All In, Motor City Machine Guns were the first of three teams to come down to the ring. Blake Christian has been trying to get the attention of MCMG by tweeting that The Swirl > MCMG. The Guns will make their in-ring debut tonight.

Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight both lost their titles at All In and still can't get along. Callis decided to make them wrestle as a team to see if they could get past their differences. They'll try to coexist against Bang Bang Gang's Juice Robinson and Ace Austin.

On "Dynamite", Nick Wayne attacked Chris Jericho. Tonight, he sets his sights on Komander, the man he faced for the ROH Men's TV title.

After losing the Trios titles on Sunday, Hangman Page and BRODIDO look to get back on track and will be in action.

Walker Stewart is on commentary with Excalibur and Tony Schiavone.

Cage and Doyle come to the ring first. The Bucks follow.

Doyle and Cage hit the Bucks before the bell rings. They send Matt down in the ring and Nick is on the outside. Doyle tagged in to stomp Matt in the corner. Cage tagged in and rammed his shoulder into him. Doyle tagged back in and kicked him in the gut. Cage tagged back in and they attempted a double team. Matt escapes and tags in Nick. He takes them both out with a crossbody. He takes them both down with lucha libre. The Bucks land stereo punches. Cage and Doyle sent them both to the mat. The Bucks double team them. Nick landed a tope suicida on them. Nick put Cage in the ring. He went for a kick on Doyle, but was intercepted. Cage bodyslammed Nick and then did curls with him before tossing him overhead. He did a pumphandle pickup and kneed him in the face.

After the break, Nick got caught in a crossbody. Nick landed a Canadian Destroyer on Cage and tagged in Matt. Matt takes on Doyle and Cage. Matt spiked Doyle. Nick tagged in and they double teamed them in the corners. Nick landed a senton on Cage and Matt landed an elbow on Cage. Matt tagged in and they double teamed Cage and Doyle. Nick attempted to lift Doyle until Matt helped him up. Cage intercepted Meltzer Driver. Matt with a headscissors on Doyle, but Doyle reversed into a powebomb. Doyle had Matt up, but Nick kicked him and made him drop him. The bucks land Superkicks on Cage.Doyle accidentally takes down Cage. The Bucks landed BTE Trigger on Doyle for the win.

Hangman & BRODIDO come to the ring where their opponents are waiting.

Parker and King start us off. He chopped King several times. King chopped to the mat and took out the other two with chops. He sent them into the corner and they all tee off on them. King landed a cannonball on all three. Page landed a Deadeye on Parker and King followed with a lariat. Bandido followed with a Frog Splash for the win.

Nick Wayne comes to the ring first. Komander follows.

They lock up and Wayne backs him into the corner. They lock up again and work each other's arm. Komander uses the ropes for an armdrag. Komander did flips and Wayne went to the outside. Wayne took his time and got in the ring and kicked Komander in the gut. They dodge each other until Komander sends him outside with a headscissor and was going for a tijares takedown when Wayne got in the ring. Komander grabbed his arm and rolled him up. He followed with a drop toe hold and splash. Wayne pulled him down by the back of the mask and suplexed him into the turnbuckle.

After the break, Wayne had Komander in a headlock. Komander escaped, but Wayne sent him to the mat. He followed by hitting him in the back with his elbow. Komander landed multiple chops, but Wayne suplexed him. Komander landed multiple strikes before spiking him. He landed an Area Code and a Destroyer. He dove on him from the ropes. He put Wayne in the ring and went for a dive, but Wayne got his legs up and rolled him up by holding the ropes. Komander rolled up Wayne. Wayne with a dragon suplex. Komander blocked Wayne's World. Wayne caught Komander and landed a cutter. He followed with a Prodigy Plex for the win.

Winner: Nick Wayne

After the match, Jericho took Wayne out with a Judas Effect. 

Vertvixen comes to the ring. Persephone follows, accompanied by Baker.

They lock up and Persephone backs her into the corner. Vertvixen does the same on the opposite side. Persephone kneed her in the gut and headbutted her. Vertvixen sends her into the corner. Vertvixen takes her down with a shoulder tackle. She elbowed her in the back. Persephone caught a crossbody attempt and sent her overhead. She dropkicked the side of Vertvixen's head.

After the break, Persephone put Vertvixen in a submission. Perspehone headbutted Vertvixen. Vetvixen pinned her. They exchanged blows. Persephone sent her down with a lariat. Vertvixen landed an enzuiguri. She landed a running boot in the corner and planted her. Vertvixen tried to pick her up. Persephone landed a dropkick and landed a Crucifix Bomb for the win.

Winner (and still): Persephone

After the match, Baker got in the ring and they attacked Vertvixen. Baker got out her glove when Maya World came out. Thunder Rosa joined her and run off Baker and Persephone. 

The Swirl comes to the ring, accompanied by Jay Lethal. MCMG follows.

Shelley and Johnson start us off. He worked Johnson's arm. Johnson did the same. Shelley pulled his arm behind him, spanked him, and put him in a headlock. He moved from a drop toe hold and an armbar. Johnson kicked him in the gut and tagged in Christian. Christian held his arm over the ropes and then continued working it. Shelley chopped him and worked his arm. Sabin tagged in and they double teamed Christian. Sabin took him down with an armdrag. Sabin did a backslide and a cradle. He followed with an armdrag. Christian took Sabin down with a dropkick. Johnson tagged in as does Shelley. MCMG sent Christian to the outside. They double teamed Johnson. Shelley sent him to the floor and Sabin sent Christian out. MCMG did baseball slides through the ropes. Shelley holds the ropes open for Sabin to land a tope suicida.

After the break, Johnson kept Shelley from tagging in momentarily. Sabin landed a double crossbody and chopped them both. He fought off The Swirl and planted Johnson. He landed a kick on Christian from the apron. He landed a DDT from the top rope on Johnson. Sabin brought Johnosn to the corner and tagged in Shelley. Johnson fights them off before getting double teamed. Shelley pinned him. He dragged Johnson to the corner and tagged in Sabin. Christian speared Shelley on the apron and landed a Fosbury Flop. Johnson gets in offense on Sabin. He holds him in place for Christian to land a crossbody. Johnson splashed him, followed by Christian. Christian pinned him, but Shelley broke it up.

Johnson sent Shelley out of the ring. He put DSabin on his shoulder. Christian leapt over them. Sabin landed a cutter on Christian. Shelley tagged in and they kicked Johnson in the corner. They landed Skull and Bones, but Christian broke it up. He landed forearms on MCMG. Shelley landed an Atomic Drop and Sabin followed with a lariat. Shelley wrenched Christian's neck back so that Sabin could land a baseball slide. Sabin tagged in and they double teamed Johnson and Sabin pinned him for the win.

Winner: Motor City Machine Guns

Kidd comes to the ring. Andrade follows.

Aubrey had to hold Kidd back as he got in the ring. Kidd attacked him from behind before the bell rang. He landed a brainbuster and covered him. He sent Andrade to the outside. Kidd followed and sent him into the barricade. He put his fingers in Andrade's mouth and wrenched his head back. Kidd slapped Andrade and Andrade sent him into the barricade. He bounced his head off the announce desk and chopped him before putting him in the ring. Andrade landed Three Amigos. Kidd rolled to the outside. Kidd knocked him off the steps. Andrade sent him into the steps and took his pants off in the ring. Kidd climbed back in the ring. Andrade sent him to the mat and went up top. Kidd got his knees up.

After the break, Andrade landed a tornillo on the outside. Back in the ring, he landed a moonsault. Andrade went for double knees, but Kidd moved and took his head off before powerbombing him. Kidd picked him, but Andrade sent him into the turnbuckle and followed with double knees. Andrade pulled Kidd up for a DM, but Kidd escaped and landed a forearm. He landed a backdrop on Andrade and followed with an exposed knee. Kidd hit him three times. Andrade landed Dia de los Muertos, but Kidd kicked out. He landed the DM for the win.

Winner (and still): Andrade

After the match, Andrade said it's only a matter of time before he's AEW World Champion. But, he wants to wait for the right time and he's going to focus on becoming the greatest National Champion of all time. He wants to defend it weekly. 

Dawn comes to the ring first. Athena follows.

They locked up and Athena hit her in the face and sent her to a knee. Dawn kicked her in the gut and hit her in the face before landing a dropkick. Athena sent her down and landed a dropkick through the ropes. She kicked Dawn. They battled on the outside. Athena sent her into the barricade three times. She sent Dawn into the apron and put her in the ring.

Dawn landed strikes and Athena sent her down and pummeled her. Dawn rolled her up and did a backslide. Athena kicked her in the gut. Dawn rolled her up again. She sent Athena into the corner. Dawn kicked her out of midair and followed with a dropkick to the face. She followed with a Saito Suplex.

She put Athna on her shoulders, but Athena escaped and sent her to the corner. Dawn kicked her down and went for a dive, but Athena moved. Athena landed two German suplexes. Athena landed a handstand elbow shot. She landed the O-Face for the win.

Winner: Athena

Knight comes to the ring first. Fletcher follows, accompanied by Callis and Lance Archer. Robinson and Ace follow, accompanied by Bang Bang Gang.

Fletcher and Knight fight over who will start. Fletcher and Ace start us off. They lock up. They do stand and switches. Fletcher worked his arm. Ace does the same and sends him down with an armdrag. He followed with a dropkick. Knight tagged himself in. Ace landed a lariat. He chopped Knight in the corner. He sent him to the mat and kicked him in the face. He rolled him up. He sent Knight to the mat.

Juice tagged in and landed on Knight's arm. He landed an Atomic Drop and a Russian Leg Sweep and covered him for two. He lured Fletcher in. Ace tagged in and they double teamed Knight. Ace went for the cover. He landed multiple elbows on Knight. He put him in a headscissors. Fletcher did a scoop slam and argued with Knight. He told Knight "that's how you do it." Knight dropkicked Juice off the apron and said it back to Fletcher.

After the break, Knight sent Ace to the apron. Fletcher charged at Ace, but Ace elbowed him and Ace rolled up Knight. Juice tagged in and Knight charged at him, but Juice sent him and Fletcher down. Juice sent Knight down and landed a senton. He connected with multiple jabs on Fletcher before spiking him. Knight went for a coffin DDT, but Juice got his knees up. Juice landed a punch and followed with a powerbomb and a cover.

Ace tagged in. Juice put Knight on his shoulder while Ace went up top. Fletcher grabbed Ace's leg while Knight escaped and sent Juice into Ace. He landed a dropkick on Juice and a hurricanrana on Ace. Fletcher tagged in and argued with Knight. They attempted to double team Ace, but Juice broke it up. Juice took out Knight on the outside and Ace spiked Fletcher with his thighs. Ace charged at Fletcher, but Fletcher moved it. Ace rolled him up. Fletcher charged at him in the corner. Ace with a spinning heel kick. Fletcher intercepted him and hit a Michinoku Driver. Knight got sent partially into the crowd by Juice.

Fletcher grabbed Ace by his hair and picked him up for a brainbuster, but Ace rolled him up for two. Ace with a knee lift. Knight pulled Juice off the apron and threw him into it. Ace landed a kick to Knight off the apron. He went for a dive and Fletcher kicked him out of midair. Fletcher landed a running knee. Knight tagged in, but Fletcher landed a brainbuster. Knight landed a UFO Splash for the win. He stared at Fletcher while making the pin.
