WWE NXT Results 9/8 - NXT Women's & North American Championships On The Line, More

Kelani Jordan will be putting her NXT Women's Championship on the line for the first time since dethroning Kendal Grey at "NXT" Heatwave on August 30 as she defends against Jaida Parker. Jordan gloated about her title win on last Tuesday's episode of "NXT", but was interrupted by Parker. This led to a verbal confrontation between two women, during which Parker called her shot for the NXT Women's Championship.

Jackson Drake of Vanity Project will be putting his North American Championship on the line for the first time since dethroning Myles Borne at Heatwave as he defends against Tavion Heights. Heights has been reeling since Borne blindsided him with a Borne Again in the moments that followed the August 30 North American Championship match, with Borne later stating he decided to do so before Heights decided to betray him first.

Last Tuesday's episode of "NXT" ended in a verbal confrontation between NXT Champion Grayson Waller, Saquon Shugars, Cruz Montana, Mason Rook, EK Prosper, Keanu Carver, and Tony D'Angelo that resulted in a physical brawl between everyone except Waller. Following such, D'Angelo will be joining forces with Rook and Shugars to take on Montana, Prosper, and Carver in a Six Man Tag Team Match. The members of the team that emerges as the victors of tonight's match will go onto face one another in a Triple Threat Number One Contenders Match for the NXT Championship to determine who will be next in line to receive a shot at Waller's title.

We are live! Vic Joseph and Booker T greet audiences at home as Jaida Parker makes her way to the ring. Kelani Jordan follows.

The bell rings and the two lock up. Parker levels Jordan with a shoulder tackle, but Jordan fires off stomps on Parker in the corner of the ring and the two women take turns rolling one another up. Jordan looks to deliver a hurricanrana to Parker, but Parker stops her and connects with a sit-out powerbomb on her.

Jordan levels Parker on the outside with a kick to her and head follows it up with a twisting neckbreaker, then sends her head bouncing off the ring apron twice during the commercial break and dumps her back inside. The two women exchange right hands with one another, but Jordan rolls up Parker back from the break. Parker kicks out and cinches in a Rings of Saturn on Jordan, but Jordan counters into a pinfall.

Parker kicks out and drapes Jordan across the middle turnbuckle, then sets up for her signature Hip Attack. Jordan escapes and traps Parker in the ropes, then delivers a leg drop to her off the ropes and connects with a springboard moonsault on her outside of the ring.

Jordan dumps Parker back in the ring and looks to land a 450 Splash, but Parker moves out of the way and delivers a Fallaway Slam to Jordan. She drapes Jordan across the middle turnbuckle and lands her signature Hip Attack on her, then looks to land a second Hip Attack on her. Jordan intercepts Parker with a Dragon Screw and follows it up with a split legged moonsault on her for the win.

Winner (and still): Kelani Jordan

After the match, Wren Sinclair appears out of nowhere and beats down Jordan. She clocks the referee and repeatedly hits Jordan with a kendo stick inside the ring and on the outside, but officials run out to the ring to get things under control.

We then head over to a video from Robert Stone's office yesterday, where Noam Dar and Romeo Moreno tell Stone that they want to face Julius Creed and Brutus Creed. Stone agrees, and both teams then make their way to the ring.

Julius and Moreno begin the action. The bell rings and Brutus tags in. Julius and Brutus deliver an assisted backbreaker to Moreno, but Dar tags in and delivers a kick to Brutus as Dar sweeps Brutus' legs. Dar cinches in a front face lock on Brutus as Moreno has a submission locked in on Brutus, but Brutus sends Dar crashing into Julius and Moreno to break the fall.

Moreno flies over the top rope to level Julius and Brutus on the outside, and Dar delivers a moonsault to them off the ropes. Brutus wears down Dar with a submission hold during the commercial break before Julius and Brutus deliver a Fallaway Slam-codebreaker combination to Dar back from the break.

Dar sends Julius crashing into the middle ropes face first and tags in Moreno. Moreno levels Julius with a big boot and delivers a German suplex to an interfering Brutus, but Dar tags in and delivers a double kick to Julius' chest with Moreno. Dar levels Julius with a back elbow and Moreno falls into the pin on him, but Brutus flies off the middle rope to break the fall with a Brutus Ball and dumps Dar out of the ring.

Brutus sends Dar crashing into one of the barricades on the outside, and Moreno rolls up Julius. Julius kicks out and levels Dar with a clothesline, and The Creed Brothers deliver a double sit-out powerbomb to Dar for the win.

Winners: Julius Creed and Brutus Creed

We then head to a video today, where William Regal and Fit Finlay are meeting with BirthRight backstage. Regal tells Charlie Dempsey to ring up Zilla Fatu in an effort to recruit him to BirthRight as the son of Umaga or find him tonight. 

We then head backstage, where Robert Stone informs Wren Sinclair that he's decided to suspend her. 

Back at ringside, Charlie Dempsey makes his way out.

Dempsey says enough is enough, then says he's underappreciated in the 6 years he's been in WWE. He says a lot of people don't think he's the most entertaining wrestler or the craziest dives, but he's substance over style and can go home looking in the mirror without being ashamed of who he is. He says when BirthRight asked him to join, then says all they want to do is mold the professional wrestling business into shape. He says BirthRight was the chance to show the world who he is, but says himself and BirthRight are made to be fools each week. He says he's sick and tired of being a joke all the time, then questions why he should keep giving back to a company who keeps bringing in failed football players. He says it's time for the people who deserve it to come and take it, then says no one in the locker room can step up to BirthRight.

Dempsey calls out Zilla Fatu and says he has something that BirthRight needs. He then tells him to accept it.

Zilla's music hits and he makes his way out. He says hello and says he likes what Dempsey is saying, then says most of what Dempsey just said was true. He says he has a chip on his shoulder because of his father Umaga, but declines Dempsey's invitation to join BirthRight. Uriah Connors makes his way out and says BirthRight isn't asking Zilla but telling him to join.

Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo, Arianna Grace, and Lexis King surround Zilla in the ring, and the two men along with Dempsey and Connors begin beating down Zilla. King, Stacks, Connors, and Dempsey then powerbomb Zilla though the announce desk, and Dempsey rips off his shirt.

Tavion Heights then makes his way to the ring. Vanity Project follows.

The bell rings and Heights levels Drake. Drake recovers, but Heights sends him crashing into the mat and Drake delivers a pair of forearms to him. Heights sends Drake crashing out of the ring, but Ricky Smokes trips up Heights as Heights runs the ropes and the referee isn't looking. Heights levels Smokes with a right hand on the outside, but Drake dumps Heights out of the other side of the ring and delivers a running senton to him.

During the commercial break, Drake rocks Heights with a forearm and jams his throat into the middle rope. He lands a Hip Attack on him, then fires off a few right hands and stomps on him in the corner of the ring. Heights sends Drake crashing into the corner of the ring spine first, but Drake grabs onto his ankle and takes off his boot. He turns around into a Sling Blade from Heights, and Heights then cinches in an Ankle Lock on Drake's injured ankle.

Drake rolls out of the ring to escape and takes off his knee pad, but Heights delivers a back body drop to Drake and connects with a Sling Blade on him. Drake rocks Heights with a big boot to his face and lands a German suplex on him, but Heights responds with a German suplex of his own on Drake on the ring apron.

Heights dumps Drake back in the ring and pins him, but Drake reverses the pinfall. Heights kicks out, but Drake connects with a 450 Splash on him off the top rope and pins him for the win.

Winner (and still): Jackson Drake

After the match, Heights spots Borne in the crowd. He stares him down on his way to the back.

Zaria then makes her way to the ring.

Zaria says she was in someone's shadow for a long time, but she shed her best friend Sol Ruca seven months ago and here she is now. She says she continued to knock down everything in front of her including becoming the Winner Take All in the Women's North American Championship and Women's Speed Championship. She says the latter title has been put in the past where it belongs and intends to be the most dominant Women's North American Championship of all time.

Izzi Dame appears on the platform and questions Zaria's assertion she's the most dominant Women's North American Championship of all time. She says herself and Zaria know that she isn't really as doubt free as she says she is, but Zaria invites Dame to join her in the ring for a fight. Dame says Zaria can't hide behind the face paint and promises to expose Zaria one layer at a time. Thea Hail appears to tell Zaria that no one cares what Dame has to say. She says Jaida Parker inspired her to go after what she wants, then says she's been trying to find her way back to the Women's North American Championship. Dame calls Hail's quest boring and says she'll let Zaria and Hail fight it out because she only cares about the Women's North American Championship. Hail says she wants to prove she isn't a one hit wonder, but Zaria says Hail wouldn't be in the ring if she wasn't following what Parker said. She says Hail depends on someone else thinking for her, and Hail says she thinks Zaria is jealous she has a real friend. Zaria says friends will always leave and asks Hail when she'll learn, and Hail says she'll learn when Zaria gets over Ruca.

Zaria clocks Hail, but Hail sends Zaria crashing into opposite ring posts shoulder first. Hail cinches in a Kimura Lock on Zaria, and Zaria quickly taps out despite it not being a match.

We then head backstage, where Hank Walker and Tank Ledger advise Myles Borne to apologize to Tavion Heights. When Borne looks to do so tonight, Walker and Ledger tell him to hold off because he lost his North American Championship match. Borne agrees and says the apology will happen next week.
