Former WWE Star Gurv Sihra Suffered Collapsed Lung During Recent Indie Match

The Bollywood Boyz's Gurv Sihra shared a harrowing experience from his last match at Pure Power Wrestling.

On Monday, the former WWE superstar posted a photo of himself in the back of an ambulance alongside an explanation for what happened. He started off by saying he was lucky to be alive. During his match on Saturday, he performed a move he'd done many times. The impact of the move caused him to suffer a collapsed lung on the right side. He recounted struggling to breathe, but he was able to finish the match. Backstage, Sihra couldn't get to his feet and was struggling to breathe. "For a moment, it truly felt like I was facing death," he wrote.

Sihra shared words from the emergency room doctor: "You are very lucky to be alive. You had angels watching over you." He reflected on the move that he's done countless times and never expected it to be one that could lead to something terrifying. While he was struggling to breathe, he could only think about his son.

"I'm incredibly grateful to be here, and I want to thank everyone at Pure Power Wrestling, the locker room, and especially my brother, that helped get the medical team to the venue," Sihra expressed.

Sihra said he will be going to follow up appointments. "I'm taking things one breath, one day, and one step at a time."
