AEW Dynamite & Collision Results 9/23 - World Trios Championship On The Line & More

Welcome to Wrestling Inc.'s live coverage for "AEW Dynamite" and "AEW Collision" on September 23, 2026, coming to you live from the Fisher's Event Center in Indianapolis, Indiana at a special three hour run time!

Kofi and Austin Creed of New Level and Swerve Strickland will be putting their AEW World Trios Championship on the line as they defend against The Demand's Ricochet, Toa Liona, and Bishop Kaun. Strickland and New Level were set to speak with Tony Schiavone during last Wednesday's edition of "Dynamite", but The Demand blindsided them with an attack at the bottom of the entrance ramp before they could in order to leave them laid out and send a message.

As of writing, nothing else has been announced for tonight's show. With AEW All Out right around the corner this coming Saturday, there is sure to be some tensions among the wrestlers set to compete at the pay-per-view event including Jon Moxley challenging Will Ospreay for the AEW World Championship, Christian Cage and Adam Copeland defending their AEW World Tag Team Championship in a Three Way TLC Match, The Brawling Birds defending their AEW Women's World Tag Team Championship against Divine Dominion in a Chicago Street Fight, and Number One Contenders matches for the AEW World Tag Team & World Women's Championships. 

We are live! Excalibur, Tony Schiavone, and Taz greet audiences at home as New Level, Swerve Strickland, and Prince Nana make their way to the ring. The Demand follows.

Strickland and Ricochet begin the action. The bell rings and the two men exchange strikes with one another. Strickland lands a backbreaker on Ricochet, but Bishop Kaun lands a knee on Strickland's spine from the ring apron when Strickland runs the ropes.

Kaun tags in, but Strickland rocks him with a double kick under his chin and tags in Austin Creed. Creed fires off right hands on Kaun in the corner, but Kofi tags in and double teams on Kaun with Creed. Creed tags in and lands a double ax handle on Kaun off the middle rope, but Strickland tags in and follows suit. Kofi then tags back in, but tags out to Creed. Kaun gains the upper hand and tags in Toa Liona. Liona lands a splash on Creed in the corner and double teams on him with Kaun.

Back from the break, Creed delivers a Russian Leg Sweep to Ricochet. Liona sends Creed crashing over the announce desk with a shoulder pounce, but Strickland levels Liona and Ricochet flies over the ring post with a tope con hilo to level Strickland. Ricochet delivers a clothesline to Strickland off the barricade to take him out, but Creed levels Ricochet with a superkick.

Kofi and Liona tag in, and Kofi dropkicks Liona into the corner. He flies out of the corner to take down Kaun, but Kaun and Liona land a double splash on Kofi. They send him crashing into the mat face first and Kaun pins Kofi, but Kofi kicks out and tags in Ricochet. Ricochet lands a 630 Splash on Kofi off the ropes, but Kofi lands a back body drop on Ricochet.

Strickland and Kaun tag in, and Strickland flies over the top rope to deliver a double stomp to Kaun's midsection as Kaun is draped off the ring apron by his legs. Strickland lands a flatliner on Liona, but Liona quickly recovers. Creed looks to take down Liona, but Liona quickly recovers once again. Creed lands a Tornado DDT to Liona before Ricochet delivers a 450 Splash to Strickland to break a fall he has on Kaun.

Kofi tags in and looks to land a SOS on Liona, but Creed delivers a Death Valley Driver to Liona. Kaun catches Creed with a DDT, but Strickland levels Kaun with a House Call. Ricochet levels Strickland, but Kofi takes out Ricochet with a SOS. Strickland then lands a House Call on Liona off Creed's back, and Kofi catches Liona with a DDT for the win.

Winners (and still): New Level and Swerve Strickland

After the match, "Hangman" Adam Page, Brody King, and Bandido make their way to the ring. Page tells Strickland and New Level that they have no idea who they're dealing with and asks Strickland what he's doing. Kofi says Strickland has been nothing but cool since New Level got to AEW, but King says it's three weeks. Page warns New Level that Strickland will show his true colors eventually, but Strickland says it's only a matter of time before Page leaves King and Bandido hanging. He says the world saw who Page was two years ago in Chicago and says Page is no better than he is.

We then head backstage, where Will Ospreay invites "Speedball" Mike Bailey to join United Empire as Francesco Akira and Renee Paquette stand by. Bailey accepts the invitation.

Back at ringside, Jon Moxley makes his way out. Dezmond Xavier follows. 

The bell rings and the two lock up. Moxley levels Xavier with a shoulder tackle, then delivers a chop to Xavier's chest. Xavier delivers a hurricanrana to Moxley, but Moxley turns Xavier inside out with a boot.

Back from the break, Xavier ascends to the top rope and looks to land a Phoenix Splash on Moxley. Moxley rolls out of the way, but Xavier runs over Moxley with a meteora. Moxley cinches in a Bulldog Choke on Xavier, and Xavier taps out.

Winner: Jon Moxley

The Young Bucks then make their way to the ring. FTR, Stokely, Christian Cage, and Adam Copeland follow. 

Matt Jackson says when it comes to the Three-Way TLC Match for the AEW World Tag Team Championship at All Out, FTR are The Dudley Boys. Nick Jackson says himself and Matt have failed to win back the AEW World Tag Team Championship multiple times, then says it might be their last opportunity to win back the AEW World Tag Team Championship. Cage says himself and Copeland are one time AEW World Tag Team Champions, and that's the way it's going to stay because himself and Copeland are generational.

Cage says he has a ritual before big matches and says he's "looking forward to meeting" Matt and Nick's mother, but Copeland cuts off Cage and says he's sick of hearing FTR and The Young Bucks talking about becoming four time AEW World Tag Team Champions. Matt says Copeland crippled himself last jumping off something high a year ago, prompting Copeland, Cage, and The Young Bucks to beat down FTR and send them crashing out of the ring. Copeland and Cage and The Young Bucks then begin brawling with one another, but Nick ascends up a ladder as Matt gets Copeland up on one shoulder. Security intervenes, but Matt levels one of the guards and Nick flies off a ladder to level the rest. Cash Wheeler sends another security guard crashing through the table, and all three teams stare down one another.

Tommaso Ciampa then makes his way to the ring. Jake Doyle and Don Callis follow. 

The bell rings and Ciampa fires off strikes and stomps on Doyle in the corner. Ciampa levels Doyle with a clothesline, but Doyle gains the upperhand and the action spills out of the ring. Ciampa sits Doyle on a chair and fires off right hands on him, then delivers a knee strike to him. He charges at Doyle, but Doyle sees Ciampa coming and sends him crashing into the chair face first.

Back from the break, Ciampa delivers White Noise to Doyle and goes for a pin. Doyle kicks out, but Ciampa fires off chops on Doyle and sets up for a Psycho Knee on Doyle, but Doyle sees him coming and lands a sit-out powerbomb on Ciampa. Ciampa responds with a Psycho Knee on Doyle for the win.

Winner: Tommaso Ciampa

After the match, Ciampa says what he has to say is for both Don Callis and Kazuchika Okada. He says in 2018, himself and Okada lived on different islands. He says it's 2026 now and they no longer have to ask what if because they live on the same island now. Okada's music hits and he makes his way out to the ring, telling Ciampa he asked for "The Rainmaker" but he won't be getting that tonight. He says Ciampa will get what he wants at All Out, and he will when he beats Ciampa. Ciampa says he must be losing his hearing because Okada has another thing coming to him if Okada thinks he's scared of him. He says everyone will see the real "Psycho Killer".
