New Details Regarding Death Of AEW Star PAC

New details have emerged following the tragic death of AEW star PAC, real name Benjamin Satterley, age 40, on Monday. News emerged of Satterley's passing on Sunday night, just 24 hours following his AEW All Out 2026 match against National Champion Andrade El Idolo. AEW confirmed the news of his death on social media.

According to the New York Post, which claimed to have obtained dispatch audio surrounding the incident, Satterley was found passed out in a vehicle in a restaurant parking lot in Des Plaines, Illinois around 4 p.m. Sunday. Authorities claimed in the audio, quoted by The Post, that they couldn't confirm the AEW star was breathing when they arrived, following 911 calls from witnesses.

The Post reported another official could be heard on the audio confirming that Satterley had died by the time they arrived. According to the Cook County medical examiner's office, Satterley was pronounced dead at 4:08 p.m. His cause of death is pending an autopsy. According to another report in the Daily Herald, a spokesperson for the Cook County medical examiner's office claimed "there were no indications of foul play or trauma, and Satterley's death didn't appear suspicious."

Satterley competed in a loss to Andrade in the opening match of AEW All Out in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, on Saturday. He appeared again at the end of the event to assist Death Riders stablemate Jon Moxley in his AEW World Championship match against Will Ospreay, where he was once again met by Andrade when he attempted to interfere on Moxley's behalf.

Fans were stunned when AEW's official X (formerly Twitter) account posted news of his passing at 9:06 p.m. EST Sunday night, following the pay-per-view. Satterley was the inaugural AEW All-Atlantic Champion, as well as a two-time AEW World Trios Champion. In WWE, where he performed as Neville, he held the NXT Championship, and was a two-time Cruiserweight Champion, as well.
