Welcome to Wrestling Inc.'s live coverage for "AEW Dynamite" on September 30, 2026, coming to you live from the Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania!

Tonight's episode of "Dynamite" will pay tribute to Death Riders member PAC following the news of his death earlier this week. PAC wrestled his final ever match at AEW All Out this past Saturday September 26 when he unsuccessfully challenged Andrade El Idolo for the National Championship, and those across the professional wrestling industry have already begun to pay tribute to him across social media including WWE COO Triple H, PAC's stablemate Marina Shafir, members of the AEW roster, and AEW President Tony Khan.

AEW World Champion Will Ospreay will be in action as he goes head-to-head with Ricochet in a non-title match. Ospreay successfully defended the AEW World Championship against Death Riders leader Jon Moxley in the main event of All Out, with the closing moments of the match featuring Ospreay delivering a Storm Breaker and a Hidden Blade to Moxley amidst interference from the rest of The Death Riders, United Empire, and The Brawling Birds.

TBS Championship Persephone will be joining forces with Britt Baker to take on Hyan and Thunder Rosa in tag team competition. Baker ensured that Persephone would dethrone Hyan's tag team partner Maya World as TBS Champion at the AEW All In Buy In show on August 30 when she became involved in the match, with Baker, Persephone, and Hikaru Shida later scoring a win against Hyan, Rosa, and World in a trios match at the "Dynamite" Rebel Heart special on September 9.

We are live! Excalibur says Benjamin Satterly (known as PAC in AEW) was only a b*****d in name. He says Benjamin was humble and warm, and while he appeared quiet at first, he would light up when talking about his passions including the animals in his garden. He says there will never be another man like Benjamin and says he loves and misses him.

Tony Schiavone is standing in the ring, and says AEW is a family. He says everyone in AEW was grief stricken upon finding out the news of Benjamin's death, then says Benjamin taught everyone a lot about being a b*****d in the ring and a great human being behind the curtain. He says Benjamin taught him to be kind, and says he will be honored tonight with this episode of "Dynamite" before throwing it to a video of Jon Moxley speaking after All Out and says it was the last time Benjamin was caught on camera.

In the video, Moxley says Will Ospreay was better than him in their AEW World Championship match. He says he gave everything he had, but loss happens in wrestling, life, opportunities, people, and not always getting what one deserves. He says every day is a gift and says walking out in front of a sold out crowd surrounded by teammates, then says Ospreay was the better man and congratulates him. He says all Ospreay has earned is more hard work and says he knows which eulogy he wants to have. He says every day is a gift to do something with and walks off as Marina Shafir, Daniel Garcia, Wheeler Yuta, and lastly PAC walk off.

Back inside the ring, Schiavone bows his head. Several members of the AEW roster, referees, and Tony Khan bow their heads at the top of the entrance ramp as a ten bell salute is undertaken in honor of Benjamin.

The Death Riders' music hits, and a chair sits empty in the crowd as Jon Moxley makes his way to the ring. Orange Cassidy follows.

Moxley escapes, but Cassidy delivers a kick to Moxley and Moxley responds by looking to cinch in a Brutalizer on Cassidy.

Cassidy counters into a pinfall, but Moxley kicks out and Cassidy looks to cinch in a Brutalizer on him as Excalibur and Tony Schiavone add that if anyone would know how to counter the Brutalizer it would be Cassidy. Moxley breaks one of his arms free and lands a Curb Stomp on Cassidy, then follows it up with a Death Rider on him for the win.

Winner (and still): Jon Moxley

After the match, Moxley catches his breath inside the ring. Bryan Danielson's music hits and he makes his way out with tears in his eyes. Moxley makes his way up to his feet and turns his back to Danielson at first, but turns around to face him. Moxley and Danielson embrace one another and share a long hug with each other.
