AEW's Andrade El Idolo Pens Tribute To PAC

The wrestling world is still in mourning over the recent passing of Benjamin "PAC" Satterley, who died at the age of 40 on September 27. The news came as a huge shock to everyone as PAC had just wrestled less than 24 hours before at AEW All Out 2026 against Andrade El Idolo for the AEW National Championship.

Andrade has since taken to Instagram to pen his own tribute to the man he wrestled on Saturday night, admitting that he actually took a break from social media right before the news broke and was informed of what happened by current WWE Superstar and one of PAC's former tag team partners Penta.

After reminiscing about joking with PAC and Bandido about football shirts backstage at All Out on Saturday, as well as revealing that PAC was looking forward to traveling back to London to see his family, Andrade rounded off with this message; "My friend, you were incredible inside the ring nobody like you and outside of the ring You had a big heart! We were in so many of the same promotions at the same time but never faced each other (NJPW, NXT, WWE), and we only got to face off three times in AEW! I'm going to miss you, Amigo! Wherever you are now, sending you a huge hug! I'll never forget this match! Forever Pac." 

PAC and Andrade had three singles matches in AEW, with Andrade winning two and PAC winning one. They crossed paths in a number of multi-man matches through their respective AEW runs, including a trios match on the September 16 episode of "AEW Dynamite" that would ultimately become PAC's final match on "Dynamite."

The AEW roster will honor PAC's career and memory on the September 30 episode of "Dynamite" with a full tribute show, which will feature a match between AEW World Champion Will Ospreay and Ricochet, two men who have credited PAC for being a man that helped them get to where they are today.
