AEW Dynamite Ratings & Viewership Report: 9/23/2026
The September 23 episode of "AEW Dynamite" acted as the final stop on the road to the All Out pay-per-view on September 26, and the fans in Fishers, Indiana had a lot to sink their teeth in to. Swerve Strickland and The New Level retained their AEW World Trios Championships against The Demand, Persephone retained her AEW TBS Championship against Hyan, and after becoming the latest member of the United Empire, "Speedball" Mike Bailey teamed up with Will Ospreay to defeat the Death Riders.
With all of that said, this episode of "Dynamite" didn't have a great week when it came to the TV ratings. Wrestlenomics have confirmed that the September 23 episode of "Dynamite" averaged a total of 641,000 viewers, marking an 11% drop from the previous week's 723,000 viewers, while also dropping 11% below the trailing for week average at the time of 721,000 viewers. When putting the viewership total in with the rest of figures from the third quarter of 2026 so far, the average is 17% above the same period in 2025, and the same can be said for the average for September 2026 compared to last year as it is 28% higher. However, Nielsen calculated the ratings via different strategy at that time. As always, these figures do not include those who streamed the show live on HBO MAX.
The biggest drop however was in the 18-49 demographic, as the September 23 episode of "Dynamite" posted a 0.10 number. This is a big 38% drop from the 0.16 number posted seven days earlier, and 33% below the trailing four week average at the time of 0.15. Due to the lateness of the show's ratings being made public, Wrestlenomics wasn't able to confirm exactly where "Dynamite" placed in the prime time cable rankings as most major publications have not released that information even at the time of writing.
