AEW Dynamite Grand Slam Paris 10/6/26 Results W/ Live Updates

The Death Riders will continue hostilities with the Don Callis Family as Gabe Kidd and Jon Moxley take on Jake Doyle and Mark Davis. Moxley beat Doyle only on Saturday's "AEW Collision" in a Continental Championship Eliminator match.
Jack Perry will get his requested match against Samoa Joe with a spot in Clockwork Carnage — the new stipulation match in which Will Ospreay will defend his world title at WrestleDream — on the line. Aside from that is a foursome of title matches, kicked off with Bandido defending the ROH world title against Kofi. Darby Allin will then be defending his TNT Championship against Kyle Fletcher, Mercedes Mone defends her women's world title against Queen Aminata, and in the main event, Ospreay is putting his World Championship up against a man he is 2-9 against in Kazuchika Okada. Okada is also the reigning International Champion.
"AEW Dynamite" will kick off at 8 PM ET via HBO Max streaming and TBS on cable in the US. Those watching internationally can do so via MyAEW.

It's main event time, as heralded by the coin drop; Kazuchika Okada makes his entrance, the International Champion a challenger for Will Ospreay's World Championship tonight.

A vignette plays with Swerve Strickland and New Level addressing "Hangman" Adam Page, Bandido, and Brody King. When all is said and done they've laid out the challenge for a Two-Out-of-Three Falls match for the Trios titles at WrestleDream.

Thekla runs down to the ring after the match and delivers a spear to Mone. She looks for a stomp but Mone rolls out of the ring for a narrow escape.
Thekla grabs the title and swings it between her legs to mock Mone. striking the "Toxic Spider" pose with the belt to close the segment.

Aminata returns Mone to the ring and makes the cover. Mone kicks out at two.
Aminata goes to the top rope for a diving foot stomp. Mone rolls out of the way and delivers a lungblower, following up with the Mone Maker for the winning pinfall.

Aminata delivers her own variation of Croyt's Wrath and looks for a running knee strike against the rope. She doesn't get all of it and Mone slips to the outside.
Aminata throws her back into the ring to go for the cover, but Mone rolls out the other side. Aminata chases but gets dropped face-first into a steelchair at ringside.
Mone sits her on it and runs at her, but Aminata this time telegraphs her and sends her face-first into the chair. Aminata follows up with a dropkick from the apron to Mone in the seated position.

Mone brings Aminata back to the ring and continues to wear her challenger down, shutting down attempted fight-backs with lariats.
Mone goes for a cover but Aminata quickly powers out of it. Mone now invites Aminata to fight back, Aminata obliges, but she is dropped with a snapmare and a meteora for another two-count.
Aminata drops Mone with a headbutt as they return to the standing exchange, going for the cover but Mone kicks out at two. She continues to drop Mone with lariats but gets rolled up briefly, trying her own for as short of a count.
Mone gets the advantage back and delivers two of Three Amigos, getting caught on the third for Aminata to get another near-fall. Mone delivers a backstabber and dumps Aminata into the corner, looking for the double knee strike but finding only the buckles.
Aminata delivers a diving foot stomp and goes for the cover. Mone kicks out.

Mercedes Mone (C) vs. Queen Aminata - AEW Women's World Championship
The match gets started with Mone snatching Aminata's beret and stamping on it, replied with Aminata sinking in forearms and rushing Mone in the corner.
Ten mounted punches in the corner later and Aminata is looking for the Chocolate Kisses. Mone escapes, affronted by the attempt, and goes for the Statement Maker.
Aminata gets out of that attempt and manages to land the Kisses after all, sending Mone to the apron. They tussle on the apron before Mone sends Aminata to the floor and follows up with a meteora.

Fletcher's frustration shows with a series of downward strikes at his grounded opponent. He goes for a powerbomb but Allin flips out of it, sending Fletcher head-first into the exposed buckle and cinching in the Scorpion Deathlock.
Fletcher finds the bottom rope to break the hold. Allin rushes up the ropes and hits a Coffin Drop, followed by another, and goes for the cover.

Fletcher lands a half-and-half suplex before stalking Allin in the corner. He softens him up with forearms before going for the brainbuster again.
Allin fights out of it but gets slapped back into the corner. Fletcher is looking for a buckle brainbuster onto an exposed turnbuckle. He delivers it and Allin crash lands to the floor.
Fletcher has tweaked his knee, Allin is busted open, but the challenger returns the champion to the ring for the cover. Allin still kicks out.

The action goes to the top rope as Fletcher looks for the buckle brainbuster. Allin fights out of it and delivers Code Red, followed by another but only for the count of two.
Allin looks for a Coffin Drop onto the apron, Fletcher rolls out of the way. Fletcher hits a brainbuster back in the ring and goes for the cover. Allin kicks out at two.

Fletcher continues to beat down at Allin on the mat and takes his time with it. He drags Allin into the ring, sinking a kick into the hamstring and locking in the STF.
Allin finds the bottom rope but Fletcher makes use of his full five. Fletcher takes Allin into the corner to begin a series of chops, lighting up the champion's chest and dropping him to the mat.
Fletcher goes for another powerslam, Allin reverses it and looks for a Scorpion Death Drop. Fletcher fights out of it and delivers a thrust kick, but he soon ends up Scorpion Death Dropped.
Thus ensues a standing striking exchange in the middle of the ring.

Fletcher returns Allin to the ring and rolls him out on the apron. Allin fights him off and sunset flips Fletcher, catching him in a guillotine. But Fletcher muscles him up for bodyslam, followed by a second for good measure.
Fletcher poses for the crowd while the referee checks on Allin.

Fletcher looks to break the count at six but Allin beats him to the punch with a tope, setting him up on the announcer's desk.
He looks for a Code Red, Fletcher fights out and looks for a brainbuster. Allin fights out and runs at Fletcher for the Code Red, but gets backdropped onto the unyielding desk.

Darby Allin (C) vs. Kyle Fletcher - AEW TNT Championship
The match starts with champion and challenger throwing hands, the larger Kyle Fletcher getting the better of that before Allin switches things up. Allin takes flight with a tope to the outside but Fletcher comes back and lawn-darts Allin into the barricade.
Fletcher runs at Allin but he avoids him, sending him into the barricade. Allin bites at Fletcher's head before going to the top rope and delivering a plancha, crashing through Fletcher to send them both over the barricade.

Kidd delivers a running knee strike to Davis and looks for a piledriver to no avail. He manages to drop Davis with a Saito suplex but he comes back with a lariat, muscling Kidd up for a gutwrench piledriver for the winning pinfal.
Mark Davis & Jake Doyle def. Gabe Kidd & Jon Moxley via Pinfall
After the match it is announced that Moxley will be defending his Continental Championship against Doyle at WrestleDream.

The match descends into a fight at ringside as all four men breed in and around the crowd.
The action returns to the ring and Kidd finds a tag out to Moxley. Moxley cinches in the bulldog choke on Doyle, but he escapes the move and the ring altogether. Davis comes into the ring and takes out Moxley from behind, once again working with Doyle to incapacitate Kidd on the outside.
They continue to work together on Moxley but he responds with a cutter to create the space to tag back out to Kidd.
Kidd rocks Davis with a pair of lariats, looking for the third but getting dropped with an enzuigiri. He still comes back with that third lariat all the same.

Jon Moxley & Gabe Kidd vs. Jake Doyle & Mark Davis
Gabe Kidd and Mark Davis get the match started with an exchange of chops. Kidd gets the better of the standing exchange but finds himself in deep water as Davis tags out to Doyle.
Kidd escapes and tags in Moxley for he and Doyle to renew their acquaintance. Moxley gets the better of Doyle and tags back out to Kidd, who goes to work in the corner until he can barely stand himself.
He comes back at Doyle in the corner but he replies with a lariat. Kidd still comes back but Davis attacks him from behind, prompting Moxley to enter the ring and clothesline Davis out of it.
He follows that up with a tope as Kidd and Doyle continue to go at it in the ring, matching lariats with lariats to no immediate avail. Both men drop each other with a running lariat, quickly returning to their feet and knocking each other back down again.

Joe returns to the ring happy for the count-out. Perry beats the count at nine.
Joe is unamused and delivers a senton to Perry, cinching in the Coquina clutch. Perry turns that into a cover but Joe fights out of it and takes Perry back to the corner.
He's looking for a Musclebuster. Perry spits in his face but is powerless to resist as he lands it. One. Two. Three.

Perry rises only to be dropped with a Joe jab, and again, and again. It's on the fourth time but Perry fights through and takes control, sending Joe into the corner and sinking his own downward punches in.
Joe drops but Perry does not let up, sinking in knees. Perry looks for a piledriver and gets backdropped, only to turn that into a cover for the count of two. He immediately turns that cover attempt into a Snare Trap but Joe finds the bottom rope.
Joe escapes to the outside and catches Perry for another uranage as he runs at him.

Perry tries to come back with a series of chops but is sat back down when Joe replies. Joe lets him up, and returns him to whence he came with another chop.
Joe takes Perry back into the corner to wear him down with strikes. He throws him to the opposite side but Perry slips him, going to the top rope and looking for a moonsault.
There it is. Joe walks away.

Joe beats Perry over the barricade, pulling him back to the ringside area and slapping him against the floor with a suplex.
Joe brings Perry back to the ring and delivers an elbow drop, with enough time to salute the crowd. He takes his time now with a grip on the trapezius.

Samoa Joe vs. Jack Perry - Clockwork Carnage Qualifier
The match gets started and Perry amuses Joe with some chops in the corner. Joe decided it's his turn, throwing Perry into the ropes, but Perry comes back with a lariat to drop his opponent.
Perry tries to press his advantage and runs at Joe in the corner, but Joe catches him into an uranage. Joe goes for a tope but Perry dodges it, though he cannot recover before Joe continues to lay in the strikes.

Speaking of qualifiers, Samoa Joe is on his way out to get his one started with "Jungle" Jack Perry.

Renee Paquette is joined backstage by Will Ospreay and Mike Bailey. He looks ahead to his World title match against Kazuchika Okada and the Clockwork Carnage match he faces at WrestleDream should he win.
Mike Bailey says he has a qualifying match for the bout this weekend, and when he does qualify he will hold nothing back against Ospreay for the World title.
Ospreay says that's what it is all about and fires up the crowd to draw the segment to a close.

The action heads to the top rope once more as both men fight atop it. Bandido delivers an avalanche blockbuster and goes for the cover, but Kofi gets his foot on the bottom rope.
Kofi almost snatches the victory as Strickland and Page get into it at ringside, providing a momentary distraction. That distraction is overruled only as Bandido delivers 21-Plex, making the cover for the winning pinfall.

Kofi drops Bandido rebounding from the ropes with a stomp, going to the top rope once more with Bandido in the opposite corner of the ring. He can't make anything of that but comes back down to the mat to drop Bandido against the bottom turnbuckle with SOS.
Kofi goes to the top rope and delivers a crossbody across Bandido's back, going for the cover for a near-fall.

Kofi continues to work Bandido in the corner with mule kicks and a shotgun dropkick, going for the cover for a two-count.
He brings him to the opposite corner but Bandido fights out of it, pressing him above his head and dropping him against the turnbuckles.
Bandido continues to burrow his boots into Kofi's face in the corner.
The action comes back into the middle of the ring as Kofi resumes control and drops Bandido with a leg drop across the neck.
Kofi takes flight with a splash from the top rope, going for for the cover but only for a count of two. He follows up to drop Bandido in the middle of the ring and delivers the Boom Drop.
Kofi heads to the corner to dial up for Trouble in Paradise, but Bandido sees it coming. Bandido rocks Kofi with a thrust kick and a crossbody from the top rope for a two-count.
Kofi comes back with a springboard dropkick to switch momentum once more.

They switch reversals to send one another against the ropes, Bandido coming back with a handspring and monkey-flipping Kofi. Kofi lands on his feet and looks to do the same back to Bandido, but he now lands on his feet.
They both go for dropkicks at the same time, Kofi pushes Bandido to the floor and teases a baseball slide.
Bandido attempts to re-enter the ring and gets kicked away, Kofi follows that up with a tope. Kofi goes to the rope and flies, but Bandido catches him and turns it into a delayed vertical suplex, holding Kofi for twenty seconds before completing the drop.
Swerve Strickland comes down to ringside, followed swiftly by "Hangman" Adam Page.

Bandido (C) vs. Kofi - ROH World Championship
The match begins with a show of respect from both men. But then they tie up at the collar and elbow. Kofi has the wrist control now. Bandido rolls out of it and dances to the crowd noise.
Bandido now takes the wrist and ties up Kofi, but it's his turn to break out of the hold and dance for the crowd.

The show is live and commentary runs down the card for the night. Bandido's defense against Kofi is first up, the challenger making his entrance first alongside Austin Creed.
