TNA Thursday Night Impact Results 10/8/26 W/ Live Updates

Welcome to Wrestling Inc.'s live blog for "TNA Thursday Night Impact" on October 8, 2026, coming to you from the Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio, Texas!

TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth and Ryan Nemeth will be putting their TNA World Tag Team Championship on the line as they defend against Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy. The issues between the two tag teams have been well documented over the last few months, with The Nemeths previously dethroning The Hardys as TNA World Tag Team Champions at TNA Lockdown on August 23.

M By Elegance of The Elegance Brand will be putting her Knockouts Television Championship on the line as she defends against Elayna Black. Black found herself involved in a backstage verbal confrontation with M during last Thursday's episode of "Thursday Night Impact" as the rest of The Elegance Brand stood by, with Black ultimately challenging M to defend her title against her tonight alone and M agreeing to do so.

A Call Your Shot Gauntlet Eight Man Tag Team Random Draw Advantage will be held tonight. Call Your Shot Gauntlet competitors Brian Myers of The System, Joe Alonzo, The Home Town Man, and A.J. Francis will be squaring off against fellow System member Bear Bronson, Trey Miguel, Elijah, and Frankie Kazarian to determine who will receive the first and last spots in the Call Your Shot Gauntlet match at TNA Bound for Glory this coming Sunday.

KC Navarro, Fabian Aichner, BDE, Rich Swann, Cedric Alexander of The System, and the aforementioned Ryan Nemeth will be taking part in a Six Way Scramble X-Division Championship Match at Bound For Glory to crown a new champion after Leon Slater vacated the title and chose to cash in Option C to challenge the aforementioned Nic Nemeth for the TNA World Championship on Sunday's pay-per-view event. Before the Six Way Scramble X-Division Championship Match takes places, Navarro will be going head-to-head with Aichner.

Additionally, Knockouts World Tag Team Champions Kiera Hogan and Allie will be in action against opponents who have yet to be named. Titleholder Xia Brookside and Indi Hartwell also have some things on their minds to share with one another ahead of their Knockouts World Championship match at Bound for Glory.
