WWE NXT Viewership & Ratings Report, 10/6/2026
The October 6 edition of "WWE NXT" went head-to-head with "AEW Dynamite Grand Slam France," thanks to the MLB playoffs, and WWE's developmental brand took the lead in viewership numbers. The show was capped off by a 20-woman battle royale featuring talent from the main roster, AAA, TNA and "WWE EVOLVE," in addition to "NXT" talent, and the end saw a surprising twist.
According to Wrestlenomics, "NXT" drew an average of 532,000 viewers, down 21 percent from the previous week's 671,000 average viewers. The show earned a 0.10 in the ever-important ages 18-49 demographic, down nine percent from the previous week's 0.11. "Dynamite," airing outside of its usual timeslot of 8 p.m. EST on Wednesday, averaged 495,000 viewers, and drew a 0.11 rating in the demographic.
Compared to this time last year, "NXT's" average viewership is down 10 percent, sitting at 532,000, down from October 2025's average of 592,000 viewers. The average rating has seen no change from this time last year.
The main event battle royale to determine the new number one contender for Kelani Jordan's NXT Women's Championship was won by the suspended, in storyline, Wren Sinclair, who dressed up as AAA's Lady Shani to disguise herself and compete. Sinclair will challenge for the gold at Halloween Havoc.
Elsewhere on the show, Hank and Tank moved on in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, as did BirthRight. The stable's Lexis King and Charlie Dempsey took over for the team of Sean Legacy and Dorian Van Dux, the latter of whom is not cleared to compete.
