Following the Grand Slam France edition of "AEW Collision" on October 10, the AEW WrestleDream 2026 card just got a whole lot bigger as two title matches have been added to the card.

AEW National Champion Andrade El Idolo made another successful defense of his crown against UK standout Michael Oku, and issued a challenge to anyone in the locker room to step up to the "Real Latino Man." That challenge was answered by none other than Tommaso Ciampa, who set the match in stone with a knee to the champion after Andrade beat Ciampa to the punch by kissing him on the cheek. Fans will get a preview of this match this week on "AEW Dynamite" when Andrade teams up with Will Ospreay to take on Ciampa and Samoa Joe.

Immediately after, The Brawling Birds sat at ringside to see who would be their next challengers to the AEW Women's World Tag Team Championships. The team of Kris Statlander and Harley Cameron, now known as Wrathlander, faced off with the Sisters of Sin and Divine Dominion in a three-way tag team match to determine the number one contenders. Wrathlander picked up the surprise victory and sealed their spot on the WrestleDream card as Statlander continues her quest to become the second-ever AEW Women's Triple Crown Champion, while Cameron hopes to become the first-ever two-time holder of the AEW Women's World Tag Team Championships.

At the time of writing, a total of seven matches are confirmed for WrestleDream, with all of the bouts having championships on the line. The only titles currently not on the line at the time of writing are Persephone's AEW TBS Championship, Darby Allin's AEW TBT Championship, and Kazuchika Okada's AEW International Championship. However, Darby and Okada have a chance to qualify for the first-ever Clockwork Carnage match via two title matches this Wednesday.
