Je'Von Evans Says He's Built A Brotherhood With WWE Star He Used To Study
Je'Von Evans has "zero fear" when it comes to his bond with Penta. In his interview on "No-Contest Wrestling," "The Young OG" described the working relationship he shares with the former Men's Intercontinental Champion, and how honored he is to work alongside him.
"It's been great," Evans said. "I actually used to watch Penta when I was on the indies. He was one of the people that I would study. ... It's a blessing to just kind of be able to be in the ring with somebody that I used to study, and now that we kind of built like a brotherhood. ... But I think we both also know that when it comes to wrestling and when it comes to goals and stuff, we both want to achieve them."
Though both men took to the skies together and won their tag team match against The Vision's Austin Theory and Bron Breakker last Monday on "WWE Raw", they stood in opposition at this year's Money in the Bank days later. Taking a critical mid-air spear from Breakker, Evans tried with all his might to bounce back from that devastating move. However, he wasn't able to secure the briefcase. Instead, his partner Penta won the briefcase for the first time in his WWE career.
