One of the most shocking moments in modern pro wrestling history saw Seth Rollins turn on his Shield brothers, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose, leading to Rollins rejoining the villainous Authority as a solo heel. Appearing on Stephanie McMahon's "What's Your Story?" podcast, current WWE star Je'Von Evans complimented McMahon on her work with the faction.

"I just want to say — The Authority. Hey. I hated y'all," Evans said. "Bro, when Seth turned... Oh, my God."

Though the moment itself was a surprise, Evans saws signs of the group fracturing before the bit moment took place on "WWE Raw." "I feel like this is what people didn't realize, because if you go back, weeks and months prior, you'll see everybody in The Shield arguing," he continued. "I caught on to that, but I was like, 'I mean, bro, brothers argue.'"

McMahon said she had a fun time with the group, which also included her husband, Triple H, as well as wrestlers like Kane and Batista at various times. She also explained why it made sense that Rollins was a good fit, at least in story, for the stable. "We could do more for Seth as an individual than we could when he was in a group... And if he's on our side, then we want to invest, right? I mean, it's all psychology, right?"

Even though he hated the betrayal as a kid, Evans loved seeing the story play out, because it was the first time he personally saw the actual bosses of the company decide to "take over."
