AEW has teased a new arrival for WrestleDream this weekend, and it looks like it might be former WWE star Ilja Dragunov.

The vignette first aired on Wednesday's "AEW Dynamite/Collision" double bill, featuring a man in a suit conducting to the beat of metronome, and presumably that same man skipping and working out in the ring.

Many took that as a teaser for Dragunov, having departed WWE over the summer, and it had since been reported that, after working out a visa issue, he has penned a deal with AEW and was in fact the man in the video.

The question had been, after finding out who and what the vignette was teasing, when would this new arrival would make their presence known. AEW posted the vignette to their social media channels on Friday, answering that question with:

"#AEWWrestleDream. TOMORROW!"

Dragunov spent seven years with WWE, initially coming through the "WWE NXT UK" brand after making a name for himself on the European independent circuit. He went on to become United Kingdom Champion as the first man in the company to beat GUNTHER, before coming to the US and capturing the NXT Championship on "WWE NXT" and the United States Championship on "WWE SmackDown."
