Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Finals Set For Wednesday Edition Of WWE NXT

Romeo Moreno and Noam Dar and Hank Walker and Tank Ledger will face off in the finals of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic after victories over the NXT Tag Team Champions, the Vanity Project, and AAA World Tag Team Champions the Wagner Brothers, respectively, on "WWE NXT."

Moreno and Dar shocked Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes, even after the team tried to injure Dar at an "NXT" live event. The champions looked to keep Dar and Moreno away from one another, downing Dar on the outside against the steps.

Dar unleashed a flurry of offense once he was able to tag in, and tried for a quick rollup on Smokes. Baylor dropped Dar on his neck across the back of his knee, but Dar continued to battle on. The match descended into chaos that saw the teams knock down their own partners.

Moreno broke up the pin after Vanity Project hit the Hit It and Quit It, and dodged the move at himself. Moreno and Dar hit a pair of spinning backfists to Smokes, and Dar pinned him for the win.

El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. and Galeno put up a good fight against Walker and Ledger, but couldn't get the job done. Galeno overpowered both men to start off, and helped his brother go flying over the top rope to take down the opposing team.

Galeno hit both Walker and Ledger with a standing splash, but they rallied to hit a double team move of their own to Wagner Jr., which required Galeno to break up the pin. Wagner Jr. hit a moonsault to Walker, and Galeno followed up with a frog splash, but Ledger broke up the pin.

Walker and Ledger hit shoulder tackles to Galeno, then both went to the top rope. They hit double splashes to the champion, and Ledger covered Galeno for the win.
